When using FORM authentication with Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.29, 8.5.0 to 8.5.49 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.98 there was a narrow window where an attacker could perform a session fixation attack. The window was considered too narrow for an exploit to be practical but, erring on the side of caution, this issue has been treated as a security vulnerability.

CVE-2026-1159106.8 MED—
——0Python Social Auth is a social authentication and registration mechanism. Prior to 6.2.0, OpenIdConnectAuth in social_core/backends/open_id_connect.py uses get_and_store_nonce to place the OpenID Connect nonce in a shared OpenIdConnectAssociation table, and get_nonce and validate_claims verify only that the nonce exists and has not expired rather than binding it to the browser session and OAuth state that initiated the login. An attacker who obtains a victim's unused authorization code can start a separate login to obtain valid state for the attacker's browser, submit the victim's code with that state, and pass nonce validation because the victim nonce is globally available. With DEFAULT_USE_PKCE disabled in the default OpenIdConnectAuth configuration, the attacker can be logged in as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.1dCVE-2026-494108.1 HIG8.7%
——3OpenHuman is an open-source agent harness available as a desktop application and Rust library. Versions before 0.56.0 allow cross-site request forgery against the unauthenticated GET /auth/telegram loopback callback because telegram_auth_handler consumes an attacker-supplied one-time Telegram login token and passes the returned JWT to credentials::ops::store_session without validating browser fetch metadata or the request origin. An attacker with an OpenHuman account can cause a user with the local core running to visit a malicious page that requests the /auth/telegram endpoint on loopback port 7788, switching the user's active local session to the attacker's backend account and exposing subsequent agent actions, memory writes, and Telegram messages associated with that session to the attacker. This issue is fixed in version 0.56.0.8dCVE-2026-556828.1 HIG37.5%
——11WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, the auto-prepended web/html/seguranca/sessionStart.php reflects an attacker-supplied PHPSESSID cookie in a Set-Cookie response and uses DB_HOST as the cookie domain. If a victim authenticates while using the attacker-selected identifier, the attacker can reuse that identifier to hijack the authenticated session. The response also discloses the internal database host name through the cookie Domain attribute, and the vulnerable session handler affects all PHP pages. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6.12dCVE-2026-1074217.3 HIG15.5%
——5Session Fixation vulnerability in VideoWhisper.com Broadcast Live Video videowhisper-live-streaming-integration allows Session Hijacking. This issue affects Broadcast Live Video: from n/a through 7.3.2.12dCVE-2026-939099.1 CRI26.8%
——8IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.10 is vulnerable by an authentication bypass vulnerability when samlWeb-2.0 feature is enabled.13dCVE-2026-631618.8 HIG31.7%
——10Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a session fixation vulnerability that allows remote attackers to hijack authenticated sessions by planting a known session identifier in a victim's browser prior to login. Attackers can exploit the application's failure to regenerate the session id upon successful authentication to gain unauthorized access to the victim's authenticated session after they log in.12d
