ColdFusion versions 2025.3, 2023.15, 2021.21 and earlier are affected by an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary code execution by an attacker. The victim must have optional configurations enabled. Scope is changed.

CVE-2026-927098.1 HIG—
——0Rsyslog is a rocket-fast system for log processing. From versions 1.15.0 to 8.2610.0, rsyslog's omfile dynaFile facility intentionally allows templates to generate flexible output paths. This supports valid deployments that route logs into different directories or use dynamically generated file names. A deployment becomes unsafe when a dynaFile template uses a value influenced by untrusted input as a path component without explicit secure-path handling. In that configuration, the rendered path can escape the operator's intended log directory. This is not limited to the RFC5424 HOSTNAME field. Any untrusted value that reaches a dynaFile path component can create the condition. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.21hCVE-2026-1152075.5 MED—
——0A flaw was found in GNU patch. An attacker can achieve arbitrary file creation outside the intended working directory by enticing a user or automated workflow to apply a specially crafted patch file. Due to missing validation during automatic patch reversal, absolute file paths in patch headers are accepted rather than rejected. Consequently, the utility can create files in arbitrary locations with the permissions of the executing user.20hCVE-2024-583967.5 HIG—
——0YouDataSum CPAS Audit Management System V4 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by manipulating the fileId parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /cpasm4/plugInManController/downPlugs with ../ sequences in fileId to retrieve system files like /etc/passwd. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-01-13.1dCVE-2022-510256.5 MED—
——0Penta Security WAPPLES 4.0.54.1, 5.0, and 6.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to download arbitrary files via the name parameter of /webapi/file/transfer. Attackers can send GET requests with type=db_backup and ../ sequences in name to read files like /etc/passwd, and a hardcoded systemi account makes authentication effectively trivial. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-19.1dCVE-2022-510247.5 HIG—
——0Kavita 0.5.2 before 0.5.4.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying '../' sequences in the filename parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /api/image/cover-upload with filename values like ../appsettings.json to retrieve configuration files outside the temp directory. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-18.1dCVE-2022-510229.1 CRI—
——0YiShaAdmin 2.2 through 3.1, fixed in commit 025b062, contains an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability in the /admin/File/DownloadFile endpoint that allows attackers to read and delete arbitrary files via the filePath parameter. Attackers can send crafted GET requests with directory traversal sequences in filePath and set the delete parameter to read or remove system files like etc/passwd. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-20.1d
