An uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in ASUS Armoury Crate allows local users to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges via replacement of a dynamic-link library (DLL) that is later loaded by a high-privilege process. Refer to the ' Security Update for Armoury Crate App ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information.

———Dell Application Store, versions prior to 26.05.0.7, contains an Uncontrolled Path Element vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to an Elevation of Privilege and arbitrary code execution.13hCVE-2026-1109366.7 MED2.7%
——1A vulnerability has been identified in Siemens Software Center (All versions < V4.0.9.8). The affected application loads dynamic-link libraries (DLLs) from an uncontrolled search path. This could allow an authenticated local attacker to place a specially crafted DLL in a directory that the application searches, leading to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the affected application.3dCVE-2026-1083909.9 CRI51.3%
——15Hestia Control Panel is a lightweight and powerful control panel for the modern web. From version 1.9.7 through 1.10.4, update_object_value() in func/main.sh does not escape single quotes when writing a custom document-root value to a user's web.conf file, allowing a low-privileged authenticated panel user with a web domain to inject an additional PATH field. When the user invokes the ordinary Search feature, the root-privileged v-search-user-object script loads the forged field through parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), which permits reserved shell-variable names and globally replaces PATH before invoking column without an absolute path. By placing a malicious column executable in the injected search path, the user can execute arbitrary code as root. This residual vulnerability was introduced when version 1.9.7 replaced the raw eval sink addressed by CVE-2026-84984 with parse_object_kv_list_non_eval(), and it is fixed in version 1.10.5.4dCVE-2026-1038458.6 HIG9.2%
——3Dimension is affected by an Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A local attacker with user permissions could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must run the application. Scope is changed.6dCVE-2026-699237.8 HIG40.2%

——1ImageMagick on Windows through 7.1.2-33 and 6.9.13-58 contains an uncontrolled search path vulnerability in NTGhostscriptEXE() that launches gswin64c.exe by bare name when Ghostscript is unregistered. Attackers can plant a malicious gswin64c.exe in the working directory to execute code with ImageMagick privileges when PDF, PostScript, or EPS files are converted.5d
