Technical description

OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.0, the t:jsDecode transformation in internal/transformations/js_decode.go:64-70 includes the backslash in the octal buffer, causing ParseInt to fail and return a null byte. The flaw is triggered when a rule relies on t:jsDecode and the request contains JavaScript octal escape sequences. An unauthenticated attacker can encode attack syntax with JavaScript octal escapes so the backend decodes the intended bytes while Coraza rules using t:jsDecode inspect corrupted null-byte output. The mismatch can bypass WAF rules and expose the protected application to attacks such as cross-site scripting or SQL injection. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.0.

———Bandisoft Bandizip before 7.47 fails to propagate Mark-of-the-Web to extracted .ps1 and .psm1 files, allowing attackers to bypass zone-based execution protections. Attackers can deliver unsigned PowerShell scripts or modules in downloaded archives that run under the RemoteSigned policy when the user invokes them.10h

——0fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions before 2.4.8, from 3.0.0 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, fast-uri percent-decodes the scheme component with the legacy global unescape() function before validating it, so an input whose decoded scheme is a dangerous token is emitted as a live scheme even though RFC 3986 does not allow percent-encoding in a scheme and no other parser accepts it. An application that screens dangerous schemes on the raw input and then stores or renders the normalized or resolved result can turn an inert string into an executable javascript, data, or vbscript URL, producing a stored or reflected cross-site scripting vector, and the equal() comparison treats an encoded and a plain scheme as the same, which can bypass equality-based allowlists. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, reject input whose scheme part contains a percent sign, or check the parsed scheme against an allowlist after normalization and use that same parsed result rather than the raw string.7h

——0A vulnerability has been found in Dolibarr up to 23.0.2. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file htdocs/document.php of the component CSP. Such manipulation leads to protection mechanism failure. The attack can be executed remotely. Upgrading to version 24.0.0 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The name of the patch is 9f9ffa288d4ad2632c1d5dd88272c699a592f4ec. You should upgrade the affected component.13h

——6A vulnerability was detected in radareorg radare2 6.2.0/6.2.2. This issue affects the function r_core_cmd_str_pipe in the library libr/core/rtr_http.inc.c of the component HTTP Sandbox Policy Handler. Performing a manipulation results in protection mechanism failure. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The attack is considered to have high complexity. The exploitability is assessed as difficult. Upgrading to version 6.2.4 is capable of addressing this issue. The patch is named 18fd12efa98a7d1977de7bdd379d8a848777b90f. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. The pre-requisite of the vulnerability is reflected by the CVSS vector. One of the project maintainers explains: "There is a real sandbox configuration issue here, but the report overstates it. The HTTP server defaults to http.sandbox=true, so commands received through /cmd temporarily enable cfg.sandbox. However, cfg.sandbox.grain defaults to all, which means all sandbox capabilities - including exec - remain allowed. Therefore enabling the HTTP sandbox alone does NOT prevent commands from spawning processes. This only matters when the HTTP command endpoint is reachable by someone you do not trust. It is not a remote vulnerability by default: the HTTP server must first be started and exposed to the attacker."1d

——1destructive_command_guard (dcg) is a command-line safety tool that blocks destructive shell commands before AI coding agents run them. Prior to 0.6.6, nested or unclosed substitutions are recursively rescanned after an inner scan returns unterminated, producing exponential-time work. The affected scanners are reached through split_command_segments in src/packs/mod.rs. a destructive command followed by nested or unclosed $( or $(( sequences. nested or unclosed $( and $(( sequences cause repeated rescanning of the remaining command suffix. a hung PreToolUse hook fails open, allowing the destructive command to proceed. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.6.2d
