Technical description

A flaw was found in spice-server. The GLZ encoder dictionary restore path truncates a size_t allocation size to int when calling the malloc callback, allowing a malicious authenticated SPICE client during VM live migration to trigger a massive heap buffer overflow by sending a crafted max_encoders value in migration data.

—
———RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.07, nanocoap accepts oversized CoAP Block2 option values without enforcing the 20-bit maximum block number, allowing block offset multiplication to overflow on 32-bit targets. The affected master baseline is commit aeeae69e; the verified fix is later on master and remains unreleased. The oversized value passes from coap_get_blockopt() to coap_block_slicer_init(). A remote CoAP client can send a malformed Block2 option that produces an invalid slice range and can cause out-of-bounds memory access, denial of service, or memory corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.07.6h

———pupnp is an SDK for development of UPnP device and control point applications. Prior to 2.0.2, raw_to_int in upnp/src/genlib/net/http/httpparser.c parses Content-Length with strtol and casts the resulting long to a 32-bit int before the caller stores it as unsigned int. On LP64 systems, values greater than INT_MAX can truncate or wrap, so the HTTP parser can accept a body length different from the declared value. A remote adjacent-network peer can use the resulting parser disagreement to leave bytes to be interpreted as another request in persistent or proxied contexts, or can make a worker wait for an extremely large body and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in 2.0.2.8h

———FreeRDP from 3.29.0 before 3.32.0 contains an integer overflow in the Apple audin backends (audin_mac.m, audin_ios.m), which compute the audio queue buffer size as FramesPerPacket * 2 * nChannels in UINT32 arithmetic, bypassing the CVE-2026-91962 fix. A malicious RDP server can send FramesPerPacket of 2^30 in the audin Open PDU to wrap the multiplication, causing undersized AudioQueueAllocateBuffer allocations and a heap out-of-bounds write in macOS and iOS clients.11h

———Driftregion iso14229 before 0.10.1 contains an integer wraparound in Handle_0x38_RequestFileTransfer that lets unauthenticated attackers bypass the file path length check. Attackers can send a short RequestFileTransfer (SID 0x38) request with filePathAndNameLength 0xFFFC-0xFFFF, causing callbacks to read past the receive buffer, crashing targets or disclosing memory.7h

——8F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.3.0, Svc::FileDownlink SendPartial range validation is vulnerable because the wrapping sum bypasses file-range validation, becomes m_endOffset, and leaves m_byteOffset greater than the wrapped end offset. When an existing source file is larger than the supplied startOffset and a caller able to issue SendPartial supplies a length whose U32 sum with that offset wraps, the first data-packet send reaches FW_ASSERT and aborts or resets the process, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.1d

——16F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.2.0, Svc::FpySequencer STORE directive stack write validation the bounds check adds attacker-controlled offset and size before memcpy, allowing integer wraparound to make an out-of-range destination appear valid. When a sequence-controlled STORE directive supplies a stack offset and size whose U32 sum wraps, memcpy can write outside the sequencer stack, causing memory corruption, denial of service, and potentially code execution. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0.1d
