Technical description

Telegram-Stremio through 5.1.0 contains an insecure storage vulnerability that allows attackers with access to the MongoDB database, backups, or logs to recover the operator's authenticated Telegram session string, which is protected only by a keyless, reversible encoding transform rather than actual encryption. Attackers can round-trip the stored value through the repository's own decode_string function with no secret key to obtain a fully authenticated Telegram session, granting complete control of the operator's Telegram account even when two-step verification is enabled.

CVE-2026-19864—
—
———Eclipse Jetty's `SessionAuthentication` retains authentication credentials in a serializable object. When the credentials contain a plaintext password and the authenticated session is persisted to a session data store, the password may consequently be written to persistent storage in plaintext. An attacker with sufficient privileges to read the persisted session data may obtain the plaintext passwords of authenticated users.8h

——0Talos Linux is a Linux distribution built for Kubernetes deployments. Prior to 1.12.9 and 1.13.3, talosctl support includes the auth field from resources/registryconfigs.cri.talos.dev.yaml and sensitive content from etcfilespecs.files.talos.dev.yaml in generated support bundles instead of marking or redacting those resources. An operator who shares a bundle with an unintended party can therefore disclose private registry authentication parameters, with impact depending on the registry's network exposure and credential privileges. Talos 1.14 and later encrypt support bundles by default, which reduces but does not replace the need for redaction. This issue is fixed in versions 1.12.9 and 1.13.3.1d

——1Super Productivity is an advanced todo list app with integrated timeboxing and time tracking capabilities. From 17.3.0 until 18.13.1, the SuperSync end-to-end encryption setup calls sync(true) before a user sets an encryption password, causing the operation-upload path to transmit and store all user operations in plaintext. The exposed operations can include private task content and connected issue-provider credentials, including reusable passwords, API tokens, and app passwords. Users who complete E2EE setup have the plaintext operations deleted, while users who leave the password-setting step can leave the data stored indefinitely. The Disable SuperSync action did not remove plaintext that had already been uploaded. Routing and causal metadata remain plaintext by design and are not part of this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 18.13.1.9h

——4Flyte 2.0.1 through 2.0.51 contains a cleartext secret storage vulnerability that allows users with Pod read access to obtain secrets by reading init container environment variables. The embedded secret manager webhook writes base64-encoded FILE-mounted secret values into the SECRETS environment variable, letting principals without Secret store access decode them from the Pod spec.4d

——3Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Versions prior to 2.4.0 store password-reset, email-confirmation, and account-deletion tokens in the `user_tokens` table in plaintext. If an attacker gains read access to the database through a backup leak, misconfigured storage, or SQL-level exposure, they can immediately use pending tokens to take over user accounts without knowing passwords. Version 2.4.0 fixes the issue.2d
