Technical description

ValueCell through 0.1.20 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows remote attackers to direct backend requests by setting an unvalidated provider base_url. Attackers can set base_url via the provider config endpoint and trigger POST /api/v1/models/check to reach internal or metadata addresses, read error responses, and capture stored provider API keys.

———A vulnerability was determined in bitcoinj up to 0.17. Affected is the function url.openConnection of the file PaymentSession.java of the component Payment Request Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument pki_type can lead to server-side request forgery. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.3h

———RedAmon through 7.0.1 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in the agent POST /tradecraft/verify endpoint because validate_url checks only the initial hostname. Attackers can submit a public URL that redirects or DNS-rebinds to internal addresses like cloud metadata services, receiving fetched content through the model-generated summary.5h

———TaskingAI through 0.3.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to make the backend send arbitrary HTTP requests by supplying an unvalidated OpenAPI servers[0].url in a user-defined action. Attackers holding a project API key or console admin login can create an action pointing to loopback, internal or cloud metadata addresses and run it via POST /actions/{action_id}/run to read back up to 64 KiB of responses.5h

———JobOps through 0.13.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the POST /api/manual-jobs/fetch handler that allows authenticated users, or unauthenticated clients in demo mode, to make the server fetch internal destinations. Attackers can supply loopback, private, or cloud metadata addresses in the url field to read returned page content, disclosing instance metadata and internal service data.5h

——0AliasVault is a privacy-first password manager with built-in email aliasing. Prior to 0.30.3, the AliasVault server API favicon extractor validates a user-supplied hostname with a first DNS lookup but allows the HTTP client to perform a second DNS lookup when connecting. An authenticated low-privileged user operating an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server can return a public address during validation and a private address during connection, causing a publicly reachable self-hosted server to issue HTTP or HTTPS requests to internal hosts. A valid image response is returned in Base64 form, while other responses can expose limited timing and error information for internal-network reconnaissance. Exploitation requires a publicly reachable self-hosted instance with public registration enabled, an authenticated AliasVault account, an attacker-controlled authoritative DNS server, and a resolver that permits rebinding; default checks limit requests to ports 80 and 443. The browser extensions, web application, and mobile applications are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.3.8h

——0Web3.py 7.15.0 through 7.16.0 and 8.0.0b2 through 8.0.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability because _check_ip_blocked() does not unwrap IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses in CCIP Read URL validation. Malicious contracts can return OffchainLookup URLs with IPv4-mapped IPv6 hosts or AAAA records, making clients with CCIP Read enabled send requests to loopback, private, or link-local services.7h
