A flaw was found in gcc. An attacker could cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by passing a string that is not null-terminated to the std::from_chars() function in the libstdc++ library. This issue triggers an out-of-bounds read beyond the allocated buffer, potentially leading to invalid data parsing or an application crash.

CVE-2026-1184753.6 LOW—
——0A flaw was found in Eye of GNOME. When parsing a specially crafted PNG image containing malformed color profile metadata, the application fails to validate chunk boundaries while searching for a null terminator. An attacker could trick a user into opening a malicious image, causing the application to read past the allocated buffer. This issue can lead to an application crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially expose sensitive memory contents.12hCVE-2026-1129223.3 LOW—
——0A flaw was found in Ghostscript. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by enticing a user to process a specially crafted PDF or PostScript document containing malicious mesh shading data. Due to improper bounds validation during the processing of indexed color values, Ghostscript triggers an out-of-bounds memory read. Successful exploitation can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) through an application crash or result in limited information disclosure.12hCVE-2026-119272——
——0Out of bounds read in FileSystem in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.79 allowed a remote attacker to read memory inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)13hCVE-2026-1192775.9 MED—
——0MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, decoders for OK packet session-state blocks, column definition packets, text row data, or binary row data used server-declared lengths without confirming that the requested bytes remained in the receive buffer. The decoders could position reads, create sub-buffers, or decode strings beyond the packet boundary. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could trigger unchecked ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException or IllegalArgumentException failures inside JDBC calls and terminate connection handling. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11.17hCVE-2026-95358.2 HIG—
——0A out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the vtkChacoReader InputGraph2 functionality of vtk (version(s): 9.6.1). A specially crafted chaco can lead to an out-of-bounds read. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.19hCVE-2026-118769——
——0Botan is a C++ cryptography library. From 2.1.0 until 3.13.0, the Botan C API function botan_block_cipher_block_size converted a size_t block size to int without a bounds check. In an application that accepts external algorithm parameter strings and uses the FFI raw ECB mode, an attacker can select the variable-block-size Lion cipher so that the reported size is truncated, the caller allocates insufficient memory, and later block processing causes memory corruption. The C++ API and normally used C API modes such as CBC and CTR are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 3.13.0.17h
