Technical description

Spreadsheet::XLSX versions before 0.19 for Perl allow code execution via string eval of number format conditions in ExcelFmt. When a number format has a condition such as [>100], ExcelFmt chooses the format section by passing the condition and the cell value to a string eval. Both come from the workbook, and the eval runs while Spreadsheet::XLSX->new parses it. An attacker who supplies an XLSX file can run arbitrary Perl code.

———Improper neutralization of directives in dynamically evaluated code in the Manager web console of Progress Software WS_FTP Server versions prior to 2024.0.7 and 2025.0.4 on Windows could allow an authenticated Manager administrator to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the WS_FTP Server IIS worker process.10h

———Crawl4AI from 0.9.0 before 0.9.5 contains a JavaScript injection vulnerability in the Docker API server that allows authenticated API clients to run arbitrary JavaScript in the crawl page via allowlisted css_selector and wait_for fields. Attackers can inject quotes into css_selector or supply js: conditions in wait_for, bypassing the js_code block to alter page state and returned crawl content.8h

——0XWiki Remote Macros provides XWiki rendering macros that are useful when migrating content from Confluence. From 1.13 until 1.14.5, the `excerpt-include` macro does not properly escape the included page's title and executes `excerpt` content with the macro's rights. The title handling in `xwiki-pro-macros-ui/src/main/resources/Confluence/Macros/ExcerptInclude.xml` and the rendering of `excerpt` content into XWiki syntax both allow syntax injection. Any user able to edit a page, even without script or programming rights, can supply executable macro syntax in the title or `excerpt` and cause remote code execution when the page is included. This affects confidentiality, integrity and availability of the whole XWiki installation. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.5.10h

——3JQ::Lite versions before 2.51 for Perl execute Perl code embedded in a query's regular expression by compiling it with string eval. The pattern given to test(), match(), or the match and =~ conditions of select() is placed in a `qr'...'` literal and compiled as source text, so a `(?{ ... })` code block in it runs without `use re 'eval'`. Single quotes in the pattern are escaped, but a code block runs in place and needs none. An attacker who supplies a query, or text that an application inserts into the pattern of one, can execute arbitrary Perl code in the calling process.9d

——1A security flaw has been discovered in THU-MIG yoloe up to 40cd606cabdbe2b566d6f14a6b162c89206e9a1b. This affects the function eval of the file ultralytics/nn/autobackend.py of the component AutoBackend Model Loading. The manipulation of the argument imgsz/names/kpt_shape results in improper neutralization of directives in dynamically evaluated code. The attack requires a local approach. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.10d

——19WeRSS (we-mp-rss) through 1.5.3 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to run code via the template parameter of the public GET /rss/{feed_id} endpoint. Attackers can supply a non-built-in ext value and a {{=expression}} template whose object-subclass traversal bypasses the eval denylist to run OS commands as the service account.13d
