Technical description

Umbraco CMS before 17.7.2 and 18.2.2 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to register attacker-controlled OAuth redirect URIs by poisoning the Host header. Attackers send signed-in users authorization links using response_mode=form_post to capture codes, then redeem them via HTTP Basic client credentials to hijack back-office sessions and execute code through Razor templates.

——0Tornado is a Python web framework and asynchronous networking library. Prior to 6.6, tornado.web.RedirectHandler URL templates can place regex-capture substitutions where crafted request paths change the redirect scheme or network location. Affected placements include substitutions at the start of a path, directly after a fixed host, or at the beginning of the template, including protocol-relative, absolute, backslash, encoded, host-extension, and user-info variants interpreted by browsers as attacker-controlled destinations. Static templates and substitutions after a fixed host followed by a slash are not affected. An attacker can use the resulting open redirect on the application's domain for phishing. This issue is fixed in version 6.6.1d

——0nforwardauth is a forward auth service that allows the use of a single authentication middleware for multiple sites. Versions prior to 1.5.1 accept an unvalidated `r` query parameter on the `/login` endpoint and use them as the post-authentication redirect destination. An unauthenticated attacker can create a legitimate `nforwardauth` login URL that redirects a victim to an attacker-controlled website after the victim successfully authenticates. This issue may facilitate phishing and other social-engineering attacks by abusing the trust associated with the legitimate authentication domain. This vulnerability does not provide an unauthenticated ForwardAuth bypass. Version 1.5.1 contains a patch.1d

——0An Open Redirect vulnerability exists in the public form submission endpoint (/form/submit) of Mautic. After a form is submitted, the application redirects the visitor to a return address supplied with the submission without verifying that it points to the Mautic instance or another trusted host. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this to send visitors from a legitimate Mautic domain to an arbitrary external website, for example to phishing pages that imitate the original landing page or to sites that deliver malware. Any Mautic instance with a published form is affected. Exploitation requires the victim to submit a form prepared by the attacker.1d

——8A weakness has been identified in gedelumbung HospitalManagement up to c2d45543789a3887067d3915f69d44cfc2cf76a8. This affects the function simpan of the file application/modules/admin/controllers/routing_pages.php of the component URL Validation. This manipulation of the argument url_route causes open redirect. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.4d

——2Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. From 0.13 until 1.8.0, authlib.common.security.is_secure_transport() uses a textual prefix comparison for loopback HTTP exemptions, so a URL whose userinfo begins with a loopback host can be accepted even when its parsed host is an external non-loopback system. An external party able to supply a URL to OIDC RP-Initiated Logout registration, authorization-server metadata validation, or another call site can bypass the TLS-required guard and cause cleartext redirection or acceptance of cleartext endpoints. The issue does not bypass redirect URI exact matching and does not by itself forge tokens or authenticate users. The vulnerable authlib.common.security.is_secure_transport() implementation in authlib/common/security.py misinterprets the userinfo component before OIDC RP-Initiated Logout dynamic client registration and other consumers enforce transport security. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.0.4d

——5OpenBao before 2.6.3 contains an open redirect vulnerability in the UI's OIDC identity provider that affects users not authenticated to OpenBao. Attackers can craft OIDC links that redirect unauthenticated users to attacker-controlled destinations, enabling phishing or credential theft.4d
