Technical description

The Symfony HtmlSanitizer component does not apply the media URL policy to the srcset and imagesrcset attributes, allowing values that point to hosts or schemes not permitted by allowMediaSchemes() or allowMediaHosts() to bypass it, so that browsers load images from disallowed hosts in Symfony versions 6.1.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11.The srcset attribute on img and source elements and the imagesrcset attribute on link elements are allowed by the sanitizer, but their URL candidates are never validated, so their values are kept verbatim while the same URL in src is dropped. The fixes for CVE-2026-45753 and CVE-2026-48761 extended the same attribute list but did not cover these two attributes. For example, with allowMediaSchemes(['https']) and allowMediaHosts(['trusted.example']), <img srcset="https://evil.example/a.png 1x"> survives sanitization, and the browser fetches the selected candidate as it would fetch src. Candidates with a scheme forbidden by the configuration, such as http, are kept as well. Any application that sanitizes untrusted HTML and relies on the media schemes and hosts allowlists to restrict where images can be loaded from is affected. A single crafted value is enough to make the browser of a user viewing the sanitized content send a request to an attacker-controlled host, which can be used to track viewers or log their IP addresses. No authentication is needed if the application accepts HTML from unauthenticated users.

———AG2 is an open-source AgentOS. From 0.13.2 until ag2 1.1.1, and from autogen 0.13.2 to 0.14.1, SandboxShellTool configurations using allowed=[...] or readonly=True rely on ShellAdapter._filter and contains_shell_operator in ag2/tools/sandbox/filter.py and ag2/tools/sandbox/adapter/shell.py to validate a command prefix and reject selected shell syntax. The filter omits newline and carriage-return separators, while the accepted raw string is passed to sh -c, allowing an attacker-influenced agent command to execute an additional arbitrary statement. With the default LocalEnvironment backend, the injected statement runs as a host subprocess with the privileges of the agent process and can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This issue is fixed in ag2 version 1.1.1.4h

——0The Symfony HtmlSanitizer component UrlSanitizer parses URLs differently from browsers, allowing the allowLinkHosts() and allowMediaHosts() checks to be bypassed for URLs without a well-formed authority, resulting in untrusted hosts being referenced in sanitized output in Symfony versions 6.1.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. UrlSanitizer parses URLs with league/uri, which follows RFC 3986, while browsers follow the WHATWG URL standard. For URLs without a well-formed authority, such as http:evil.example, ///evil.example, or https://://evil.example/ the sanitizer finds no host, whereas browsers resolve them to evil.example. The guard added for CVE-2026-45066 missed the zero-slash form, and the host 0 was also skipped because PHP treats it as falsy. This is exploitable when a host allow-list is combined with allowRelativeLinks(true) or allowRelativeMedias(true). The default configuration is not affected.10h

——0The Symfony Validator component IpValidator incompletely classifies internal addresses in the filtered modes of the Ip constraint, so some internal addresses are accepted as public, which can lead to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Symfony versions prior to 5.4.56, 6.x prior to 6.4.50, 7.x prior to 7.4.23, and 8.x prior to 8.1.11. In these modes, IpValidator relies on the PHP flags FILTER_FLAG_NO_PRIV_RANGE and FILTER_FLAG_NO_RES_RANGE to classify addresses as public, private, or reserved. These flags do not cover shared address space (100.64.0.0/10) or IPv4-mapped, IPv4-compatible, and 6to4 IPv6 addresses, which can embed internal IPv4 addresses. A value such as ::ffff:127.0.0.1 can therefore pass validation even though it points to an internal host. Applications that rely on the Ip constraint to reject internal addresses, for example before making a server-side request to a user-supplied address, can be exposed to SSRF.10h

——8Incomplete Comparison with Missing Factors (CWE-1023) in merge_chats() (whatstk/utils/chat_merge.py), reached from BaseChat.merge(), in whatstk from 0.3.0 before 0.9.0 allows a party that supplies the chat exports to cause messages to be absent from the merged output with no indication that anything was removed, because the merge keeps whole the chat whose first message is oldest and appends from the other only the messages that are strictly newer than the last message of the first. Every message of the second chat that falls inside the date range already covered by the first is therefore discarded. The two chats are compared on their date ranges and not on the identity of the individual messages, so a message held by only one of the two exports is dropped whenever its date falls inside the range of the other, and both branches of _merge_two_chats() behave this way. The merged result is returned without a warning and without a count of what was removed. This results in a merged chat that omits messages the inputs contain, in a library whose documented uses include forensic review and the generation of training data.2d

——4vsftpd through 3.0.5 contains an access control bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated FTP users to execute denied commands by issuing RFC 775 X-prefixed aliases. The cmds_denied check in process_post_login() compares literal tokens, so attackers can send XRMD, XMKD, XCWD, XPWD, or XCUP to perform blocked operations like deleting directories.5h
