Technical description

A vulnerability was determined in 666ghj BettaFish up to 1.2.1. Impacted is the function _deduplicate_results of the file InsightEngine/agent.py of the component InsightEngine search-result Deduplication. Executing a manipulation can lead to partial string comparison. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.

CVE-2026-878537.5 HIG
A flaw was found in SSSD's IdP authentication provider. The eval_access_token_buf() function compares the OIDC subject identifier using strncmp() with the authenticated user's identifier length, performing a prefix comparison instead of an exact match. An attacker whose IdP identifier is a strict prefix of a target user's identifier can authenticate as the target user.9h
CVE-2026-561015.3 MED
0OpenBSD before commit 1ee99df contains an inverted comparison vulnerability in the ieee80211_michael_mic_failure() function within sys/net80211/ieee80211_crypto_tkip.c that allows unauthenticated attackers within RF range to trigger denial of service by sending two malformed TKIP frames separated by more than 60 seconds. Attackers can exploit the reversed TKIP MIC failure countermeasure window check to deauthenticate all associated TKIP stations and block reassociation for up to 90 seconds, while within-window MIC failures that should engage countermeasures are silently discarded, leaving key-recovery attempts undetected.1d
CVE-2026-733097.4 HIG
0XenForo before 2.3.13 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the OAuth2 token endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain valid token pairs by submitting empty values for client_secret and code_verifier parameters. Attackers can exploit PHP truthy evaluation logic, which treats empty strings as false and skips client secret validation and PKCE code verifier validation, to exchange a valid authorization code for a token pair without proving client identity or holding the PKCE commitment.9h

10Astro is a web framework for content-driven websites. Prior to 7.2.4, Astro stripped a configured non-root base path from request pathnames using a string-prefix check without verifying a path-segment boundary. With base "/app", a request to "/appX/admin" resolved internally to the protected "/admin" route while middleware observed "/appX/admin" in context.url.pathname. In applications that authorize base-prefixed routes by inspecting context.url.pathname, an unauthenticated remote attacker could bypass pathname-based middleware authorization and reach protected routes. This issue is fixed in version 7.2.4.6d

5Incorrect Comparison vulnerability in ash-project ash_sql allows a user to pad a string field with tab, newline, carriage-return, or form-feed characters and pass a trimmed uniqueness or equality check in the database that the same expression would fail in memory (or the reverse). string_trim/1 compiles to REGEXP_REPLACE patterns built from an Elixir string in which \s is the escape for a single space (codepoint 32), not a regex whitespace class. The generated SQL therefore removes only literal spaces and leaves tabs, newlines, carriage returns, and form feeds in place, whereas String.trim/1 in Elixir removes them all. Any Ash filter, validation, or identity that relies on string_trim/1 then behaves differently depending on whether Ash pushes the expression down to SQL or evaluates it in memory, so padded input can register a near-duplicate value or slip past a trimmed comparison. This issue affects ash_sql: from 0.1.0 before 0.7.1.7d

7When ranges are used for access control (i.e. of the form 1.2.3.4-1.2.3.25), because NSD wrongly compares the IP address with the range on little endian systems, IPs that were meant to be allowed may be denied, and, IPs that were meant to be denied access could be allowed. An IPv4 address is compared with IPv4 ranges as unsigned 32 bit numbers directly with the endianness of the host, but the values to compare are in network byte order (big-endian). With IPv6 addresses the comparison is done in 4 times a unsigned 32 bit number comparison, again with the endianness of the host where all values are actually in network bye order.1d
