Technical description

Consul Community Edition and Consul Enterprise 1.19.1 through 2.0.2 did not enforce the {{session:write}} ACL permission for session deletion operations submitted through the transaction API. An authenticated caller with network access to the Consul server RPC port could delete arbitrary sessions without holding the required permission. This vulnerability, CVE-2026-19016, is fixed in Consul 2.0.3 and Consul Enterprise 1.21.17, 1.22.11, and 2.0.3.

0A security flaw has been discovered in Hulupeep mcp-ui-probe up to 0.2.0. Affected is the function get_journey/delete_journey/analyze_journey/usage_stats of the file src/journey/JourneyStorage.ts of the component Journey/Usage. The manipulation of the argument journeyId/filename results in path traversal. The attack requires a local approach. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.8h
CVE-2026-47243
0Kata Containers is an open source project focusing on a standard implementation of lightweight Virtual Machines (VMs) that perform like containers. Prior to 3.31.0, the runtime-rs standalone virtio-fs path is vulnerable to a guest-root to host-root escape. In this configuration, Kata runs the host virtiofsd as root with --sandbox none --seccomp none, so an attacker with root-equivalent access inside the guest can bypass the guest virtio-fs client entirely by taking over the virtio-fs PCI device and building a virtqueue in userspace to submit raw FUSE requests directly to the host virtiofsd. A crafted FUSE_SYMLINK request whose new symlink name is an absolute host path is honored outside the configured shared directory, allowing guest root to create root-owned symlinks in sensitive host locations such as /etc/cron.d. By pointing such a symlink at a guest-controlled crontab payload reachable through a live runtime process's mount namespace, the attacker causes the host cron daemon to execute that payload as host root, crossing the Kata isolation boundary. This issue is fixed in version 3.31.0.17h

0Kata Containers is an open source project focusing on a standard implementation of lightweight Virtual Machines (VMs) that perform like containers. Prior to version 4.0.0, kata-runtime is vulnerable to host code execution via an unvalidated configuration path annotation. The runtime accepts an arbitrary io.katacontainers.config_path pod annotation and loads the referenced host TOML file without restriction. As a result, a pod user who can place a file at a host-visible path can supply a configuration that selects an attacker-controlled hypervisor or virtio-fs daemon binary, executing code as root on the host. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0.19h
CVE-2026-47661
0Pathling is a set of tools that make it easier to use FHIR and clinical terminology within health data analytics. Prior to version 2.0.0 of Pathling Server, Pathling's `/$result` endpoint allows a caller who can obtain any valid async export job ID to supply `file` parameter values containing path traversal sequences. The handler verifies only the supplied `job` and never normalises or confines the requested `file` path to that job's `jobs/<jobId>` directory before opening it as a filesystem resource. Because async export scratch space lives under the same warehouse database root as persisted resource tables, an attacker can use their own export job to read other files from the warehouse. This is fixed in Pathling Server 2.0.0. As an interim mitigation, disable the async export operations (`pathling.operations.exportEnabled`, `patientExportEnabled`, `groupExportEnabled`, `bulkSubmitEnabled`) or enable authentication and restrict export capability to trusted callers.20h

CVE-2026-715576.3 MED
0go-git is an extensible git implementation library written in pure Go. Prior to 5.19.2 and 6.0.0-alpha.5, reference names are not sanitized before being used to construct on-disk paths under the reference storage directory, so a maliciously crafted reference name (for example containing directory-traversal sequences) can cause go-git to write files outside the intended reference storage directory. Versions 5.19.2 and 6.0.0-alpha.5 fix the issue.22h
