CVE-2026-1083275.0 MED—
———Tanium addressed a path traversal vulnerability in Tanium Data Service.46mCVE-2026-121542——
———In Docker Buildx versions v0.19.0 through v0.38.0, an untrusted Bake definition may expose files accessible to the Buildx client without the expected fs.read approval. Under certain conditions, paths under the same parent directory as the current working directory whose names use the working directory's basename as a prefix can skip the filesystem entitlement check. Exploitation requires specific matching filenames next to the current project directory. Users who run untrusted Bake definitions may be affected. The issue is fixed in v0.38.1.2hCVE-2026-635028.3 HIG—
———Yeti bridges the gap between CTI and DFIR practitioners by providing a Forensics Intelligence platform and pipeline. Prior to 2.5.1, YETI derives ExportTask.file_name from the user-controlled task name and passes it to core/clients/file_storage/classes/local_storage.py without sanitizing traversal sequences or enforcing path confinement. A low-privileged authenticated user using the default local storage backend can call POST /api/v2/tasks/export/new with a traversal name and use ExportTask.file_contents through GET /api/v2/tasks/export/{export_id}/content to read files accessible to the YETI service account. Running ExportTask.run() can also write attacker-controlled export output to an attacker-selected writable path. The impact depends on the service account's filesystem permissions, and universal code execution is not established. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.4hCVE-2026-635007.1 HIG—
———Yeti bridges the gap between CTI and DFIR practitioners by providing a Forensics Intelligence platform and pipeline. Prior to 2.5.1, core/schemas/dfiq.py accepts an unvalidated uuid from DFIQ YAML through POST /api/v2/dfiq/from_yaml, and core/web/apiv2/dfiq.py later interpolates that stored value into an archive filesystem path in POST /api/v2/dfiq/to_archive. A low-privileged authenticated user can import a DFIQ object whose UUID contains traversal sequences and trigger archive export, causing attacker-controlled content with a .yaml suffix to be written outside the intended temporary archive directory. The impact is limited by paths writable by the YETI service account, and the separate DFIQ archive-import zip-slip candidate is not part of this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.45mCVE-2026-634785.3 MED—
———isomorphic-git is a pure JavaScript implementation of Git for Node.js and browsers. Prior to 1.38.6, isomorphic-git's tree parser in src/models/GitTree.js accepts a standalone .. tree-entry name because it rejects only path separators. During clone or checkout from a malicious or man-in-the-middle-controlled non-GitHub remote, nested .. entries can escape the working-tree root and write files at attacker-selected parent paths on any host-backed fs provider. The arbitrary file write can overwrite startup or configuration files and lead to code execution. GitHub-hosted trees are not a direct source because GitHub rejects .. entries during repository integrity checks. This issue is fixed in version 1.38.6.4hCVE-2026-633958.8 HIG—
———isomorphic-git is a pure JavaScript implementation of Git for Node.js and browsers. Prior to 1.38.6, isomorphic-git's git.checkout writes new child paths through symlinked leading directory components without checking them. A malicious repository can first place a directory symlink and later replace the tree state with a child file beneath that path; the usual trigger is a clone followed by a later pull, while a single clone can trigger the issue when a symlink already exists or the consuming application accesses the tree. With Node fs on Linux or macOS, the operating system can resolve the write outside the working tree, permitting arbitrary host file writes and possible code execution. Node fs on Windows usually blocks the symlink plant without additional privilege, and browser or in-memory providers limit impact to their virtual filesystem and are affected only when they implement symlink creation and following. This issue is fixed in version 1.38.6.2h
