Technical description

Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud. Prior to 1.6.6 and from 1.7.0 until 1.7.3, SAML.getSession in internal/pkg/auth/interceptor/saml.go checks SAMLAssertion.Used and marks it used in separate state operations. Concurrent requests carrying the same captured saml-session token can each observe the assertion as unused and obtain authentication as the victim before either update is visible. The attacker can invoke SAML-protected gRPC endpoints, use ConfirmPublicKey to create multiple persistent credentials tied to the victim, and generate audit entries attributed to the victim, with the resulting access potentially affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability according to the victim's privileges. This issue is fixed in versions 1.6.6 and 1.7.3.

———The Botslab G980H dash camera firmware accepts a reusable authentication value without adequately verifying its freshness or association with the requesting client. An unauthenticated attacker with adjacent network access who captures a valid authentication value could replay it from another client to establish an authenticated session and access privileged device functionality.20h

——0The door access control on a Norwegian Cruise Line asset grants entry based only on the credential's static 7-byte UID stored on an NTAG212 NFC chip. A UID is a manufacturer serial number sent in the clear on every read and is not intended to be secret or to authenticate the holder. Validating on the UID of the NTAG212 NFC chip alone is identification, not authentication, and the credential has no challenge-response capability that would resist copying.22h

——0A vulnerability in Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s update mechanism allows an update package to be replaced between download and high-privilege extraction due to insufficient file locking and integrity validation. This could enable local attackers to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.2d

——6MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, validate_url_for_ssrf checks a hostname's resolved addresses, but Requests and urllib3 resolve the hostname again when connecting. A caller can use a short-lived DNS answer that is public during validation and private during connection, preserving unauthenticated access to internal or metadata endpoints despite the earlier CVE-2026-27826 remediation. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through validate_url_for_ssrf, _check_dns_resolution, socket.getaddrinfo, and _make_ssrf_safe_hook, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.2d

——1A time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the dynamic loader (ld.so) of the GNU C Library (glibc) versions 2.14 through 2.44 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges. When expanding $ORIGIN in DT_RPATH for setuid/setgid (AT_SECURE) programs, glibc validates the lexically normalized search path against the trusted directories but then opens the raw, un-normalized path. On systems where the Linux fs.protected_hardlinks sysctl is disabled, a local attacker who hard-links such a program into an attacker-controlled directory and wins a race to replace an intermediate path component with a symbolic link can direct the loader outside the trusted directory, causing it to load an attacker-controlled shared object and execute arbitrary code with the elevated privileges of the program. Exploitation requires an installed setuid or setgid binary whose DT_RPATH uses $ORIGIN followed by ".." traversal that normalizes into a trusted directory, and the ability to hard-link that binary and win the race by swapping a path component for a symbolic link. Major Linux-based OS distributions ship with fs.protected_hardlinks enabled by default and mitigate the vulnerability.3d

——8Cloudreve is a self-hosted file management and sharing system. Prior to 4.18.0, PrepareUpload in pkg/filemanager/fs/dbfs/upload.go checks a stale in-memory user storage value through validateUserCapacity and later applies an unconditional storage charge outside the same quota-enforcing transaction. An authenticated user with Files.Write permission can issue concurrent upload-session requests that read the same capacity snapshot, all pass the MaxStorage check, and reserve their declared sizes through CommitWithStorageDiff. The resulting reservations can exceed the account quota and can be materialized as chunked uploads that exhaust host storage and deny uploads to other users. The default local-storage policy and default User group are affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.18.0.3d
