Technical description

FiftyOne is an open-source platform for refining high-quality datasets and visual AI models. Prior to 1.17.0, the FiftyOne App/API server in fiftyone/server/app.py and the /media route in fiftyone/server/routes/media.py unconditionally return Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *. Because the embedded server is local and unauthenticated, a malicious website visited by the user can read cross-origin responses. The /media endpoint accepts a filesystem path, allowing a drive-by page to read files accessible to the server process and exfiltrate them without additional clicks. The allowed_origins configuration and FIFTYONE_ALLOWED_ORIGINS environment variable now make cross-origin access explicit, while the default policy is same-origin. This issue is fixed in version 1.17.0.

——0kaniko before 1.25.20 can send a Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) access token for Azure Resource Manager to an attacker-controlled registry host. kaniko uses the Azure Container Registry credential helper github.com/chrismellard/docker-credential-acr-env, which decides whether a host is an ACR registry with an unanchored regular expression, so any hostname containing .azurecr.io, .azurecr.cn, .azurecr.de or .azurecr.us is accepted. kaniko consults this helper for any registry that has no credentials in the Docker config and is not a Google or Amazon ECR registry, before contacting the registry. A Dockerfile that references an image on a lookalike host, such as FROM x.azurecr.io.attacker.com/img or COPY --from=<image>, causes the helper to obtain a token from the build's Azure identity (service principal environment variables, federated workload identity token, or managed identity) and POST it to https://<host>/oauth2/exchange. The attacker can use the token against Azure Resource Manager with the identity's role assignments until it expires, and can exchange it for credentials to any ACR registry the identity can access. No RUN instruction or push is required. This issue is fixed in 1.25.20.18h

——1Google::Auth versions from 0.11 through 0.12 for Perl accept an authorization code from any local process because the gcloud-auth login callback does not check the OAuth state. The gcloud-auth login and application-default login commands send a state parameter with the authorization request, then take the code from the first request to reach their loopback listener without comparing the returned state. A local attacker can submit an authorization code for their own Google account. The CLI exchanges it and stores the refresh token as the user's credentials, so the user's tools then act as the attacker's account.18h

——7MoLing is a computer-use and browser-use based MCP server. Prior to 0.5.0, when MoLing runs in SSE mode using `-l`, its `/sse` and `/message` HTTP endpoints do not authenticate requests and the `mcp-go` dependency sets `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`. A malicious web page can open a cross-origin `EventSource` to `/sse`, including a loopback listener, and read the `endpoint` event to obtain `sessionId`. After a victim running SSE mode visits that page, the attacker can use the disclosed `sessionId` against `/message` to send unauthorized MCP tool calls. Depending on the configured tools, those calls can read or write local files, execute commands or perform other actions. Binding only to loopback does not prevent this browser-mediated attack. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.0.18h

——2Ladybird is a truly independent web browser. Prior to the c0d68bddf3e3616e5173835f0f4c155ee9700d91 commit, CSSStyleSheet.cssRules, insertRule(), and deleteRule() in Libraries/LibWeb/CSS/CSSStyleSheet.cpp did not enforce the stylesheet origin-clean flag with the required SecurityError, even though cross-origin imported stylesheets were correctly marked non-origin-clean. A malicious page could read parsed rules from a stylesheet loaded without CORS and could insert or delete rules in the victim stylesheet, bypassing the Same-Origin Policy. Reading could expose selectors, generated content, feature markers, or other sensitive rule text, while mutation could alter page visibility or layout. The issue does not provide memory corruption, code execution, or persistence after the attacker page closes. This vulnerability is fixed by commit c0d68bddf3e3616e5173835f0f4c155ee9700d91.18h

——1WIT SynApps Runtime through 1.4.11 contains a browser-mediated cross-origin request forgery vulnerability that allows attackers to supply an arbitrary target address during controller onboarding, causing the victim's browser to issue discovery requests to attacker-specified hosts at paths such as /easy/GUI/Skins/Default/SiteLogo and /easy/GUI/Skins/Default/Identity. Attackers can leverage the victim's browser reachability to probe loopback addresses, local hostnames, or internal-only network hosts and initiate the enrollment flow against REDY instances, crossing IT/OT segmentation boundaries through a sanctioned application path.4d
