Technical description

OpenClaw before 2026.5.18 contains an identity header validation vulnerability allowing local same-host callers to forge trusted-proxy identity headers. Attackers with access to the proxy-facing Gateway port can supply forged identity headers to assume operator identity and potentially escalate privileges.

——4Acceptance of Extraneous Untrusted Data With Trusted Data vulnerability in the Sign in with Apple strategy in pow-auth Assent allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to impersonate another user via the user parameter of the authorization callback. Apple posts the user's name to the callback endpoint in a user form parameter that the browser submits and the client controls. Assent.Strategy.Apple.callback/2 in lib/assent/strategies/apple.ex decodes that parameter, and fetch_user/2 merges it over the claims of the verified ID token, so the unverified map wins. An attacker who completes a Sign in with Apple login with their own Apple ID and edits the user parameter can replace sub, email, and any other claim. Applications that look up, link, or authorize accounts by the returned subject or email then act on the attacker's values. This issue affects assent: from 0.1.25 before 0.3.2.2d

——1ActivityPub is a multi-tenant ActivityPub server for Ghost, built with Fedify. From 1.0.0 until 1.2.6, the `Undo` handler allows a remote federated server to cause the service to act on a `follow` or `repost` as though the activity came from a different account. This permits removal of an existing `follow` relationship or `repost` belonging to another account without that account's involvement. No private data is exposed and content is not modified; the affected relationships can be re-established. Services proxying to Ghost's hosted ActivityPub server have already been updated, while self-hosted services require an updated image and redeployment. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.6.2d

——6A security vulnerability exists in the authorization handling for the local (management) cluster shell feature of SUSE Rancher Manager 2.15.0 up to 2.15.3, 2.14.0 up to 2.14.7, 2.13.0 up to 2.13.11, 2.12.0 up to 2.12.15, 2.11.0 up to 2.11.19 and possible older versions. The authorization check that was introduced to protect this feature was not applied to every API route that can reach it, so an alternative request form reached the shell handler without the access check being evaluated. This could allow any authenticated users to run a pod on the management cluster.2d

——8xiaozhi-esp32-server through 0.9.8 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in WebSocketServer._handle_auth that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to skip Bearer HMAC token verification by spoofing the Device-ID header. Attackers supplying an allowlisted MAC-address-shaped device identifier can open an authenticated WebSocket session, issue voice-assistant commands, exchange audio, and read that device's conversation context.2d

——4A security vulnerability was discovered in SUSE Rancher Fleet's cluster registration flow, in Fleet versions before 0.12, 0.13.0 up to 0.13.17, 0.14.0 up to 0.14.12, 0.15.0 up t o 0.15.17 and 0.16.0 up to 0.16.3. The cluster identity claimed by a registration request was accepted without being bound to the registration token that the request was made with. As a result, a registration request could be associated with a managed cluster that was originally registered with a different registration token.2d

——5Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with adjacent network access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Session theft.2d
