MessagePack is the serializer implementation for Python msgpack.org. Prior to 1.2.1, there is an Out-of-bounds read/crash on Unpacker reuse after a caught error, potentially leading to a DoS attack. If the Unpacker is used repeatedly after an error occurs, the process may crash with a SEGV. This issue has been fixed in version 1.2.1.

CVE-2026-598504.3 MED—
———A flaw was found in libssh. If data packets are processed after a channel is closed, channel data callbacks can be invoked after the associated data has already been freed, leading to crashes or possible use-after-free conditions.5hCVE-2026-60080——
——0Use After Free vulnerability in the Rust deserialization logic of Apache Fory. This issue affects Apache Fory from 0.13.0 through 1.3.0.
A crafted Fory payload could cause undefined behavior, process crash, or potential memory disclosure.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.4.0, which fixes the issue.4hCVE-2026-637296.6 MED2.5%
——1The SyncTeX parser (synctex_parser.c) shipped with TeX Live and embedded by downstream consumers such as GNOME Evince contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability that allows attackers to crash applications or potentially execute arbitrary code by supplying a malformed .synctex or .synctex.gz file. A malformed SyncTeX file can construct a ref node with a NULL parent pointer, causing the replacement routine to fail to detach the node from its sibling chain, which triggers recursive freeing of live tree nodes and leaves dangling pointers that are later accessed by the parser during document load.9hCVE-2026-159057.8 HIG3.2%

——4Use after free in Ozone in Google Chrome on Linux prior to 150.0.7871.128 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)6hCVE-2026-15902—18.6%
