Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.3.0, the Include directive in src/mistune/directives/include.py detects only direct self-includes and not indirect cycles, allowing two markdown files that include each other to trigger unbounded recursion, raise RecursionError, and crash the rendering request. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.

CVE-2024-219077.5 HIG98.2%
——29Newtonsoft.Json before version 13.0.1 is affected by a mishandling of exceptional conditions vulnerability. Crafted data that is passed to the JsonConvert.DeserializeObject method may trigger a StackOverflow exception resulting in denial of service. Depending on the usage of the library, an unauthenticated and remote attacker may be able to cause the denial of service condition.2dCVE-2026-236667.5 HIG67.8%
——20Improper input validation in .NET Framework allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network.2dCVE-2026-416065.3 MED63.1%
——19Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in Apache Thrift.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.23.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.23.0, which fixes the issue.2dCVE-2022-279787.5 HIG60.0%
——18Tooljet v1.6 does not properly handle missing values in the API, allowing attackers to arbitrarily reset passwords via a crafted HTTP request.8dCVE-2026-309227.5 HIG52.5%
——16pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.3, the `pyasn1` library is vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack caused by uncontrolled recursion when decoding ASN.1 data with deeply nested structures. An attacker can supply a crafted payload containing thousands of nested `SEQUENCE` (`0x30`) or `SET` (`0x31`) tags with "Indefinite Length" (`0x80`) markers. This forces the decoder to recursively call itself until the Python interpreter crashes with a `RecursionError` or consumes all available memory (OOM), crashing the host application. This is a distinct vulnerability from CVE-2026-23490 (which addressed integer overflows in OID decoding). The fix for CVE-2026-23490 (`MAX_OID_ARC_CONTINUATION_OCTETS`) does not mitigate this recursion issue. Version 0.6.3 fixes this specific issue.2dCVE-2026-321417.5 HIG51.7%
——16flatted is a circular JSON parser. Prior to 3.4.0, flatted's parse() function uses a recursive revive() phase to resolve circular references in deserialized JSON. When given a crafted payload with deeply nested or self-referential $ indices, the recursion depth is unbounded, causing a stack overflow that crashes the Node.js process. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.4.0.11h
