Technical description

SOCFortress CoPilot focuses on providing a single pane of glass for all your security operations needs. Prior to 0.1.77, `POST /api/scoutsuite/generate-gcp-report` in `backend/app/integrations/scoutsuite/routes/scoutsuite.py` admits admin and analyst users and validates the uploaded content as `GCPScoutSuiteJSON`, but passes raw `file.filename` from the multipart header to `save_file_to_directory` in `backend/app/integrations/scoutsuite/services/scoutsuite.py`. The writer combines this filename with `scoutsuite-report` using `os.path.join` without sanitization or a resolved-path containment check. A traversal filename therefore writes the supplied JSON outside the intended report directory. In the reported root-running backend, the researcher demonstrated root-owned writes outside that directory and into the application source directory. This permits host-file overwrite subject to the accepted JSON-content constraint and can disrupt application operation; the demonstrated primitive does not establish unrestricted executable contents or unconditional cross-tenant confidentiality loss. Version 0.1.77 removes caller-controlled filenames from the affected route; unrestricted-content and direct-code-execution claims require separate curator reconciliation.

CVE-2026-1192984.2 MED

———croc is a tool that allows any two computers to simply and securely transfer files and folders. Prior to 11.5.2, the receive-side file-readiness loop in src/croc/croc.go treats any sender-controlled basename beginning with croc-stdin- as a trusted text-transfer artifact even when SendingText is false. This skips askReceiveOverwrite and rename handling for a predictable exact-name collision in the receiver's working directory, allowing a remote sender whose transfer the user accepts to overwrite or truncate a matching regular file through recipientInitializeFile, or to remove and replace a matching destination with an empty file or an in-directory symlink through createEmptyFileAndFinish, without confirmation. The impact is limited to pre-existing names in the croc-stdin- namespace that the sender can predict; other filenames retain the prompt, dotfiles outside that namespace are not reachable, and symlink targets remain confined to the receive directory. This issue is fixed in version 11.5.2.3h
CVE-2026-118988—

———CallBackery versions before 0.60.1 for Perl let unauthenticated clients read the POD of any file via path traversal in the /doc route. Every CallBackery application mounts its documentation plugin at /doc, ahead of any session check. The route passes the requested name to Pod::Simple::Search->find without validation. find splits the name on "::" and joins the parts into a file path, so a name such as "..::..::..::etc::motd" escapes @INC. Any file the server process can read is reachable. Only POD is rendered, but a file with a POD directive and no "=cut" is POD to the end of the file.3h

———n8n from 2.14.0 through 2.46.3 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the Databricks node that allows unauthenticated attackers to reach arbitrary Databricks API endpoints by injecting unencoded resource identifiers. Attackers can supply ../ sequences and query strings via webhook, chat, or form inputs mapped to spaceId, indexName, or filePath to read secrets using the stored credential.3h
CVE-2026-1195465.5 MED

———Forgejo through 15.0.11, 16.0.0 through 16.0.7, and 17.0.0 through 17.0.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in restore-repo that allows attackers to read files outside the dump directory via crafted asset paths. Attackers can supply a dump whose release.yml DownloadURL or PatchURL contains ../ sequences, importing files like app.ini as release attachments when an administrator restores it.8h
CVE-2025-68391—

———ARKETEAM Protectel modules PROTECTELMAJ and BDF are vulnerable to arbitrary file upload. Any user is able to upload arbitrary file and override existing files in a temporary folder. This vulnerability might lead to execution of embedded JavaScript scripts when an authenticated user tries to download the uploaded file.  This issue has been fixed in: PROTECTELMAJ v6.5.19 and BDF v6.4.673h
CVE-2026-54616.5 MED

——0The Forminator Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Limited File Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 1.55.0.2. This is due to the plugin accepting arbitrary upload field metadata from POST requests in draft submissions without proper validation, which is then used to delete files when a subsequent draft references the poisoned draft via the previous_draft_id parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary non-PHP files within the wp-content/uploads/ directory.4h
