In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: tegra: fix pm_runtime leak on mutex_lock failure If tegra_i2c_mutex_lock() fails, the function returns without calling pm_runtime_put(), leaking the runtime PM reference acquired by the preceding pm_runtime_get_sync(). This prevents the device from ever entering runtime suspend. Add the missing pm_runtime_put() before returning on lock failure.

——4[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the
text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.]
To manage the system, sysctl and platform operations are used by the
control domain or a possible Xenstore domain. Some of these operations
may not be executed in parallel, so a system-wide lock each is used.
The way those locks are acquired is, however, not providing any fairness.
Furthermore, with XSM/Flask in use, the lock acquire will, for some
operations, occur ahead of any permission checking.
The sysctl issue is CVE-2026-62426.
The platform-op issue is CVE-2026-62427.19dCVE-2026-642385.5 MED0.2%

gpio: shared: fix deadlock on shared proxy's parent removal
Commit 710abda58055 ("gpio: shared: call gpio_chip::of_xlate() if set")
used the mutex embedded in struct gpio_shared_entry to protect the
offset field which now can be modified after assignment. The critical
section however is too wide and introduced a potential deadlock on the
removal of the shared GPIO proxy's parent.
Make the critical section shorter - only protect the offset when it's
being read.
While at it: mention the fact that the entry lock is now also used to
protect against concurrent access to the offset field in the structure's
documentation.3dCVE-2026-641005.5 MED0.9%

kswapd0 holding fs_reclaim calls the MSM shrinker, which calls
dma_resv_lock. This in turn acquires fs_reclaim.
Fix this deadlock by using dma_resv_trylock() instead, dropping the
subsequently unused passed wait-wound lock 'ticket'.

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/virtio: use uninterruptible resv lock for plane updates
virtio_gpu_cursor_plane_update() and virtio_gpu_resource_flush() lock
the framebuffer BO's dma_resv via virtio_gpu_array_lock_resv() and
ignore its return value. The function can fail with -EINTR from
dma_resv_lock_interruptible() (signal during lock wait) or with
-ENOMEM from dma_resv_reserve_fences() (fence slot allocation),
leaving the resv lock not held. The queue path then walks the object
array and calls dma_resv_add_fence(), which requires the lock held;
with lockdep enabled this trips dma_resv_assert_held():

Beyond the WARN, mutating the dma_resv fence list without the lock
races with concurrent readers/writers and can corrupt the list.
Both call sites run inside the .atomic_update plane callback, which
DRM atomic helpers do not allow to fail (by the time it runs, the
commit has been signed off to userspace and there is no clean
rollback path). Moving the lock acquisition to .prepare_fb was
rejected because the broader lock scope deadlocks against other BO
locking paths in the same atomic commit.
Introduce virtio_gpu_lock_one_resv_uninterruptible() that uses
dma_resv_lock() instead of dma_resv_lock_interruptible(). This
eliminates the -EINTR failure mode -- the realistic syzbot trigger
-- without extending the lock hold across the commit. The helper
locks a single BO and rejects nents > 1 with -EINVAL; both fix
sites lock exactly one BO.
Use it from virtio_gpu_cursor_plane_update() and
virtio_gpu_resource_flush(); check the return value to handle the
remaining -ENOMEM case from dma_resv_reserve_fences() by freeing
the objs and skipping the plane update for that frame. The
framebuffer BOs touched here are not shared with other contexts
and lock contention is expected to be brief, so the loss of
signal-interruptibility is acceptable.
Other callers of virtio_gpu_array_lock_resv() (the ioctl paths)
continue to use the interruptible variant.
The bug was reported by syzbot, triggered via fault injection
(fail_nth) on the DRM_IOCTL_MODE_CURSOR path, which forces the
-ENOMEM branch in dma_resv_reserve_fences().5dCVE-2026-533588.8 HIG9.6%
——3In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: L2CAP: use chan timer to close channels in cleanup_listen()
l2cap_chan_close() removes the channel from conn->chan_l, which
must be done under conn->lock. cleanup_listen() runs under the
parent sk_lock, so acquiring conn->lock would invert the
established conn->lock -> chan->lock -> sk_lock order.
Instead of calling l2cap_chan_close() directly, schedule
l2cap_chan_timeout with delay 0 to close the channel
asynchronously. The timeout handler already acquires conn->lock
and chan->lock in the correct order.
The timer is only armed when chan->conn is still set: if it is
already NULL, l2cap_conn_del() has already processed this channel
(l2cap_chan_del + l2cap_sock_teardown_cb + l2cap_sock_close_cb),
so there is nothing left to do. If l2cap_conn_del() races in
after the timer is armed, __clear_chan_timer() inside
l2cap_chan_del() cancels it; if the timer has already fired, the
handler returns harmlessly because chan->conn was cleared.25dCVE-2026-533265.5 MED0.7%
——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
debugobjects: Don't call fill_pool() in early boot hardirq context
When booting a debug PREEMPT_RT kernel on an ARM64 system, a "inconsistent
{HARDIRQ-ON-W} -> {IN-HARDIRQ-W} usage" lockdep warning message was
reported to the console.
During early boot, interrupts are enabled before the scheduler is
enabled. In this window (before SYSTEM_SCHEDULING is set) interrupts can
fire and in the hard interrupt context handler attempt to fill the pool
This can lead to a deadlock when the interrupt occurred when the interrupt
hits a region which holds a lock that is required to be taken in the
allocation path.
Add a new can_fill_pool() helper and reorder the exception rule and forbid
this scenario by excluding allocations from hard interrupt context.24d
