Technical description

Apache Polaris did not consistently validate storage locations supplied during table and view registration. An authenticated principal with permission to register a table or view could, depending on the affected release and registration path, cause Polaris to use the catalog's storage credentials to read a caller-selected Iceberg metadata file before verifying that the file was within the catalog's allowed storage locations. If the catalog's underlying credentials could read an object outside that boundary, this could disclose limited information from the object. Polaris could also accept registration metadata located within an allowed location that contained references to storage locations outside the allowed boundary. This second condition did not itself cause Polaris to read the referenced external locations during registration. The demonstrated impact is limited to confidentiality. No unauthorized data modification or availability impact has been demonstrated. The server-side read requires a deployment using S3 credential vending and an object outside the allowed locations that the catalog's underlying storage credentials can read. Exploitation requires an authenticated principal with table- or view-registration privileges.

2The BlockSpare plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to incorrect logic in the permission callback in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.6 due to the use of an AND (&&) operator instead of an OR (||) operator. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to bypass authorization checks and create arbitrary posts.9h

1The Secure Custom Fields WordPress plugin before 6.9.4 does not properly verify that a front-end form submission corresponds to the form that was rendered to the visitor, allowing unauthenticated users to submit against a different registered form and modify the title and content of the post that form is bound to.9h

4SysReptor is a fully customizable pentest reporting platform. Prior to 2026.55, an unauthenticated holder of a public note share link receives project-wide collaborative editing metadata because the public share consumer joins the same collaboration group as authenticated project members and forwards client information, connection, awareness, and deletion events without consistently restricting them to the shared note subtree. The disclosed metadata can identify project members through usernames and names and reveal the identifiers and live editing activity of notes that were not shared. The content of non-shared notes remains protected, and the issue does not grant write access. This issue is fixed in version 2026.55.1d

3Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. Prior to 0.13.7, ForbiddenListSpec.ExactMatch in pkg/api/forbidden_list.go sorts denied metadata keys case-insensitively and then uses sort.SearchStrings, which assumes byte-order sorting. When an administrator's forbidden list mixes capitalized and lowercase keys or otherwise has different case-insensitive and byte ordering, the binary search can return false for a key that is present. An authenticated tenant owner can then pass the missed key through api.ValidateForbidden and bypass configured namespace, Service, or delegated node metadata restrictions, potentially influencing cluster policies, network exposure, or scheduling outside the tenant boundary. Uniformly lowercase lists whose two orderings coincide are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.7.1d

8ArcadeDB (Maven artifact com.arcadedb:arcadedb-engine) through 26.8.1 enforces its per-type/per-record access-control rules only in LocalBucket, keyed on file id. Query-execution paths that reach record data through LSM index files or the TimeSeries engine never invoke that permission check, so an authenticated user who is denied readRecord/deleteRecord on a type can still, with a single ordinary SQL statement, read the type's indexed key values and record IDs (e.g. SELECT key, rid FROM INDEX:Type[field]), read MAX/MIN values via the index shortcut, read and count TimeSeries samples, learn the type's record count, and delete index entries (DELETE FROM INDEX:Type[field]), which desynchronizes the index from the data and can defeat unique constraints. Index and type names needed for exploitation are discoverable because SELECT FROM schema:indexes is unfiltered. The issue affects both embedded and server deployments and all transports (HTTP, Bolt, Postgres, Gremlin) once a principal is bound. Fixed in 26.9.1.1d
