CVE-2026-905567.8 HIG—
———Freeciv versions before 3.2.6 contain a heap buffer overflow in worklist_load() when processing savegame files with declared worklist lengths exceeding the fixed array bound of 64 elements. Attackers can craft malicious savegame files that write past the entries array into adjacent heap-allocated struct fields, potentially corrupting memory when a user or server operator loads the file.11hCVE-2026-542417.4 HIG—
——0libde265 is an open source implementation of the h.265 video codec. Versions prior to 1.1.1 use signed 32-bit arithmetic to calculate the sample adaptive offset input-buffer size, allowing a crafted HEVC stream with large dimensions and 16-bit luma samples to cause an integer overflow, an undersized allocation, and an out-of-bounds heap read that may expose heap data in decoded output or crash the decoder. Version 1.1.1 contains a patch.1dCVE-2026-793937.5 HIG—
——0A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the WS-Addressing Action transformation function in the Sofia IPC daemon in Xiongmai IP Camera XM530 firmware HMT.CM2005-v220608.1837 and earlier allows remote unauthenticated attackers to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code via a crafted SOAP request containing a wsa5:Action string exceeding 128 bytes.1dCVE-2026-184956.1 MED—
——0A flaw was found in libtiff. A heap-buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the `tiff2pdf` utility due to an integer truncation error when processing crafted BigTIFF files. An attacker can provide a specially crafted BigTIFF file, causing a 64-bit `StripByteCounts` value to be truncated to a 32-bit integer. This leads to an undersized memory allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds memory copy, resulting in a crash and severe memory corruption.1dCVE-2026-457613.3 LOW3.0%
——1Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5, a crafted rule using mixed-case frame syntax could trigger a heap buffer overflow while Suricata is loading signatures. The issue is reached during rule parsing/loading rather than by network traffic alone. Versions 7.0.16 and 8.0.5 contain a fix. As a workaround, preprocess rules to check that frames are all lowercase and/or only load trusted rulesets.2dCVE-2026-449509.0 CRI37.0%
——11fs_read_glyphs() in the libXfont2 font-server client (src/fc/fserve.c) copies each glyph's bitmap into a single buffer. Existing checks validates only that the source slice (position, length) lies within the source bitmap buffer. It does not check whether the running destination cursor has exceeded the allocation.
A malicious font server can send overlapping source offsets -- for example 1000 glyphs each referencing {position:0, length:64} with nbytes=64. Each individual source range passes the existing validation, but the cumulative writes total 64000 bytes into a 64-byte destination buffer. This is a heap buffer overflow with attacker-controlled content.2d
