CVE-2026-732949.9 CRI—
———Semaphore UI is a web interface for managing DevOps tools. Prior to 2.18.17 and 2.19.5-beta2, repository git_url handling passes an attacker-controlled --upload-pack option to CmdGitClient.GetLastRemoteCommitHash through POST /api/project/{id}/repositories and scheduled commit-hash polling, allowing a project Manager or Owner to execute arbitrary OS commands in the Semaphore server process. This issue is fixed in versions 2.18.17 and 2.19.5-beta2.4hCVE-2026-725388.8 HIG—
——0An argument injection vulnerability in PrefectHQ Prefect through 3.8.2 allows authenticated users to achieve remote code execution via the git_clone pull step branch field. The branch parameter is passed directly to git pull without sanitization, enabling injection of arbitrary git arguments. This represents a distinct code path from the incomplete fix applied for CVE-2026-5366 and allows command execution on the Prefect server.1dCVE-2026-712124.4 MED1.5%
——0xidown (a yt-dlp/ffmpeg GUI wrapper) builds its yt-dlp command-line invocation (xidown/core/scanner.py and downloader.py) by appending the user-provided or scanned URL as a bare trailing positional argument, with no '--' end-of-options marker and no scheme validation anywhere in the codebase.2dCVE-2026-173477.5 HIG22.0%
——7The MASTER_PASSWORD_HOOK setting, introduced in pgAdmin 4 7.2, lets an administrator configure an external command that returns a per-user encryption key, with %u in the configured string replaced by the current user's name. The previous implementation substituted the username directly into the command string and executed the result with subprocess.Popen(..., shell=True). Because the username can originate from an external authentication source (OAuth/OIDC claims, Kerberos, webserver auth) rather than a value pgAdmin fully controls, a username containing shell metacharacters (';', '$()', backticks, pipes, '&&', newlines) allowed an authenticated user to execute arbitrary commands as the pgAdmin service account in any deployment where the configured hook string uses %u.
Fix tokenises the trusted, administrator-configured hook string into an argument vector first (using shlex in POSIX-quoting mode, with backslash-escaping disabled so Windows-style paths are not mis-parsed), substitutes the untrusted username into the individual argv elements, and executes with shell=False. The username is therefore always confined to a single argv element; any shell metacharacters it contains are inert. Administrators whose MASTER_PASSWORD_HOOK previously relied on shell features (pipes, redirection, environment-variable expansion, globbing) within the hook string itself must move that logic into the invoked script, since it is no longer interpreted by a shell.
This issue affects pgAdmin 4: from 7.2 before 9.17.5dCVE-2026-181577.8 HIG15.3%
——5A flaw was found in yggdrasil-worker-package-manager. A local attacker with existing access to the system could exploit an argument injection vulnerability in the APT backend. This allows specially crafted package names, which begin with a hyphen, to be misinterpreted as command options by apt-get. Successful exploitation could lead to remote code execution (RCE) with root privileges, enabling the attacker to fully compromise the system's integrity, confidentiality, and availability.9dCVE-2026-436987.8 HIG4.7%
——1An injection issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8. An app may be able to gain root privileges.14d
