——0The AsyncHttpClient library allows Java applications to execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, PropertiesBasedResumableProcessor stores resumable download state at the predictable shared path $java.io.tmpdir/ahc/ResumableAsyncHandler.properties with default permissions and link-following file operations. A local user who can read the shared store can see download URLs, including embedded user information or query tokens. A local user who can write within or pre-create the affected shared store directory can plant a symbolic link that the client follows when saving state, truncating and overwriting a target file writable by the client process. The filesystem path is used when ResumableAsyncHandler decorates another AsyncHandler, while the no-argument constructors use a no-op processor and are unaffected. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.10dCVE-2026-86836—1.4%
——0In Eclipse Ankaios versions 0.1.0 through 1.0.2, the agent creates workload files and Control Interface named pipes (FIFOs) under a predictable path derived from the agent name and a hash of the workload's runtime configuration. If a directory or FIFO already exists at that path when the agent (re)starts, the agent reuses it based only on an existence and/or file-type check, without validating its owner or permissions. A local, unprivileged user with write access to the same base directory (by default under `$TMPDIR/ankaios`, e.g. shared `/tmp`) can pre-create this path hierarchy, including the two Control Interface FIFOs, before the agent starts. The agent then treats the attacker-owned FIFOs as the legitimate Control Interface for the targeted workload. The attacker can complete the Control Interface handshake and issue requests using that workload's configured `controlInterfaceAccess` permissions, allowing impersonation of the workload and, depending on its configured permissions, unauthorized reading and/or modification of the cluster's desired state.40dCVE-2026-694827.1 HIG39.9%
——12Creation of temporary file in directory with insecure permissions in Windows Error Reporting allows an authorized attacker to perform tampering locally.29dCVE-2026-850287.8 HIG6.7%
——2Creation of a temporary file in a directory with insecure permissions in the FPGA management tool installation component in AWS FPGA Development Kit (aws-fpga) before 2.3.4 might allow local users to execute arbitrary code with root privileges via crafted shell content placed at a predictable path in a world-writable temporary directory, which the installation step reads after elevating its own privileges.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.3.4.49dCVE-2026-82346—3.5%
——1A potential security vulnerability has been identified in the HP ImageDiags for versions prior to 5.0.0.36. The vulnerability could potentially allow a local attacker to escalate privileges due to insufficient access controls.54dCVE-2026-636936.6 MED3.2%
——1Dell Client BIOS contains an Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Arbitrary Write14d
