Technical description

Improper Authorization vulnerability in Drupal Field Collection for Drupal 7 allows a user with the "edit field collections" permission to bypass access control on the parent (host) entity. The access check for field collection items (field_collection_item_access()) granted edit and delete access to any user holding the "edit field collections" permission without verifying the user's access to the host entity. As a result, a user with "edit field collections" but without edit/update access to the host entity (for example a node they cannot edit) could edit or delete field collection items attached to that entity, bypassing the intended entity/node access restrictions. The fix requires access to the parent entity in addition to the field collection permission. This issue affects Field Collection for Drupal 7: version 7.x-1.0 up to and including 7.x-1.2.

The `callTableAction` and `callTableBulkAction` paths then permanently delete individual or multiple variants without checking that dedicated permission. Prior to 3.2.0, the shared-link creation API accepted albumId and assetIds as independent fields in server/src/services/shared-link.service.ts but authorized only the resource selected by the requested link type. An authenticated attacker who already knew a victim-owned asset UUID could select SharedLinkType.Album for an attacker-owned album while supplying that UUID in assetIds; SharedLinkService.create() persisted the unchecked association in shared_link_asset and made the victim asset available through the new anonymous shared-link credential. This exposed victim metadata, thumbnails, and the byte-identical original file and created a persistent sharing relationship that could be redistributed. An authenticated low-privileged municipal user who knows a case or decision UUID can use `GET /rest/zaken/besluit/zaakUuid/{uuid}` (`listBesluitenForZaakUUID`) to read decisions including types, dates, and free-text toelichting; `GET /rest/zaken/besluit/{uuid}/historie` (`listBesluitHistorie`) to read audit old/new values; and `GET /rest/zaken/{uuid}/process-diagram` (`downloadProcessDiagram`) to read BPMN workflow state across unauthorized zaaktypes. The advisory also identifies `zaak/{uuid}/afzender` (`listAfzendersVoorZaak`) as exposing zaaktype mailbox configuration without a policy check.
