CVE-2026-54559——
———PocketSphinx is a small speech recognizer. Prior to 5.1.1, the trie language-model loaders in src/lm/ngram_model_trie.c do not adequately validate boundary conditions in ARPA, DMP, and binary format headers, and the acoustic-model loaders in src/mdef.c and src/util/bio.c use sscanf with unbounded string fields. Loading an invalid, corrupted, or malicious language or acoustic model can therefore cause stack or heap buffer overflows and memory corruption. An attacker who can write to a directory selected by POCKETSPHINX_PATH can replace or add a model file that PocketSphinx later loads; users of PocketSphinx 5prealpha have no backported patch and must migrate to the fixed release. This issue is fixed in version 5.1.1.16hCVE-2026-194997.7 HIG—
———Calling strfmon and strfmon_l in the GNU C Library version 2.38 to 2.44 can write past the end of the caller-supplied output buffer when a conversion uses right-justified width padding.
Exploitation requires an application code path that calls strfmon or strfmon_l with right-justified width padding into a destination buffer that is large enough for the padding to succeed but too small for the internal memmove call. The field width or format may be attacker-influenced or a fixed susceptible pattern in the caller.
At the time of publication, no network-facing application impact is known.16hCVE-2026-906825.3 MED—
——0A security vulnerability has been detected in Matthias-Wandel jhead up to 3.3. This impacts the function ProcessGpsInfo of the file gpsinfo.c of the component WebP EXIF Handler. Such manipulation of the argument TAG_GPS_LAT/TAG_GPS_LONG leads to heap-based buffer overflow. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.15hCVE-2026-237884.2 MED—
——0An issue was discovered in DPU in Samsung Mobile Processor Exynos 1280, 2200, and 1380. A heap overflow in the Exynos DRM HDR driver (due to improper buffer size validation) leads to kernel memory corruption and a system crash.20hCVE-2025-640312.5 LOW—
——0libarchive 3.8.x before 3.8.2 has a strcpy heap-based buffer overflow in the gzip writer via the original-filename field to archive_compressor_gzip_open in archive_write_add_filter_gzip.c, aka GHSA-92wx-p669-8gr9. This relates to bsdtar. Exploitation envisions a marginally plausible scenario in which original-filename is obtained from an untrusted party. (original-filename is not derived from the input data.)1dCVE-2026-905775.3 MED—
——0A vulnerability was detected in GPAC up to f1219cde. Affected by this vulnerability is the function gf_node_get_field of the file scenegraph/base_scenegraph.c of the component MP4Box. Performing a manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attack is only possible with local access. The exploit is now public and may be used. Upgrading to version abi-16.23 addresses this issue. The patch is named 49dee5cad329cfed310c1682703df7daa47df31a. The affected component should be upgraded.15h
