Technical description

Improper input validation in Omnibox in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.75 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass web origin policy via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: High)

CVE-2026-82740
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in ash-project ash fails to enforce the outer array constraints on a doubly-nested {:array, {:array, type}} attribute, letting invalid input pass validation. Ash.Type.apply_constraints/3 (lib/ash/type/type.ex) handled the {:array, {:array, type}} case by mapping only the inner {:array, type} constraints over each element, so constraints declared on the outer array (such as min_length, max_length, and nil_items?) were never applied. An attacker could submit an outer list that violates those constraints (too many elements, or nil entries where disallowed) and have it accepted and persisted. The fix enforces the outer array constraints and adds explicit handling for nil and non-list inputs. This issue affects ash: from 2.16.1 before 3.32.2.5h
CVE-2026-82738
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in ash-project ash allows an attacker to persistently deny reads of a record by storing a non-version-7 UUID in an Ash.Type.UUIDv7 attribute. Ash.Type.UUIDv7.cast_input/2 accepts any well-formed UUID string, including non-version-7 UUIDs, and stores it as a 16-byte binary. On read, cast_stored/2 (lib/ash/type/uuid_v7.ex) routes the stored binary back through cast_input/2, which since an input-validation tightening in v3.6.3 matches only version-7 (and optionally version-4) 16-byte binaries and otherwise expects a 36-character string. A stored non-v7 16-byte binary matches neither clause and returns :error, so every later read of that record fails. An attacker able to set such an attribute poisons the row permanently. The fix decodes any 16-byte stored binary directly in cast_stored/2. This issue affects ash: from 3.6.3 before 3.32.2.5h
CVE-2026-82732
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in ash-project ash_typescript allows a remote attacker to submit argument values outside a declared allowlist or bound on typed-controller routes. AshTypescript.TypedController.RequestHandler in lib/ash_typescript/typed_controller/request_handler.ex calls Ash.Type.cast_input/3 and treats an {:ok, cast} result as fully validated. In Ash these are separate steps: cast_input/3 only coerces the term, while every constraint declared on the argument is applied by Ash.Type.apply_constraints/3, which this path never calls. Constraints such as one_of, max_length, min and max, and match are therefore inert, so a value outside a declared allowlist is accepted and passed to the route handler. Codegen renders the same constraints into the generated TypeScript types, so an allowlist appears enforced to a TypeScript caller while any other HTTP client ignores it. Empty-string to nil normalization also lives in apply_constraints, so the allow_nil?: false check accepts "" for a required argument. Where a constraint gates a role, a status, or a sort direction, this becomes a privilege or state-machine bypass. This issue affects ash_typescript: from 0.15.0 before 0.18.0.5h

7Improper Input Validation vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql allows an unauthenticated client to crash a relay node(id: ...) query with an unhandled KeyError. AshGraphql.Graphql.Resolver.resolve_node/2 decodes the client-supplied global ID with decode_relay_id/1, which only base64-decodes the string and splits it on : without validating the type segment. The decoded type is passed straight to Map.fetch!(type_to_domain_and_resource_map, type). Because fetch! raises on a missing key, a relay ID whose type segment is a valid atom that is not a relay-exposed type aborts the resolver before its resolve/2 clauses and their rescue handlers run, so the error never becomes a GraphQL error and may expose a stacktrace. Common resource names are easy to guess. The fix uses Map.fetch/2 and returns an Invalid node id error for unknown types. This issue affects ash_graphql: from 0.27.0 before 1.11.0.5h
