A security vulnerability exists in the SUSE Rancher Manager meta proxy endpoint (/meta/proxy). This endpoint is intended to forward requests only to destinations that appear on a configured allowlist. The allowlist decision was evaluated in a place where it could not stop a request from being forwarded, so a rejected destination was logged but the request was still handed to the proxy's transport. This affects SUSE Rancher 2.15.0 up to 2.15.3, 2.14.0 up to 2.14.7, 2.13.0 up to 2.13.11, 2.12.0 up to 2.12.15, 2.11.0 up to 2.11.19 and potentially older EOL versions.

An external_account configuration with the AWS subject token type selects Google::Auth::ExternalAccountCredentials::Aws. Its retrieve_subject_token sends requests to the imdsv2_session_token_url, url and region_url fields of credential_source without the host check that the other credential classes apply.

Remote `http(s)` references cause requests from the developer or CI host and inline untrusted remote schema content into generated output. The demonstrated chain stops at server-side request forgery, remote file inclusion, and local file inclusion, not code execution: Refit sets the base URL at runtime, enum values use verbatim-string doubling, and string defaults are escaped. HTTP and HTTPS resource references can make server-side requests to internal or cloud-metadata destinations, while file references can embed local content readable by the Stirling-PDF process into the generated PDF. The endpoint is reachable without credentials when security.enableLogin is false, and the flaw is distinct from earlier Stirling-PDF WeasyPrint vulnerabilities in older conversion paths. From 2.13.1 until 2.13.2, the POST /api/v1/convert/svg/pdf endpoint renders attacker-supplied SVG through Apache Batik, and a scheme-less root-relative image reference bypasses SvgSanitizer.isExternalUrl() before Batik resolves it against the file:///input.svg document base as a same-origin local file. The convert() and addSvgAsPage() paths in app/core/src/main/java/stirling/software/SPDF/utils/SvgToPdf.java can then render image-decodable server files into the returned PDF when sanitization is enabled, including without authentication on login-disabled deployments or with non-admin access when login is enabled. The issue discloses PNG, JPG, GIF, or SVG content and provides an existence oracle only for image-decodable paths; plain text, binary files, directories, XInclude text, external entities, explicit file URLs, and tested HTTP references are not disclosed through this mechanism. This issue is fixed in version 2.13.2.3d
