An external control of file path vulnerability in a WatchGuard Fireware OS firewall diagnostic command allows a remote, authenticated attacker with at least read-only (Device Monitor) privileges and access to the management CLI to create, truncate, or overwrite arbitrary files and modify kernel parameters with root privileges by submitting a specially crafted command. Written content is limited to numeric values.

CVE-2026-1166733.3 LOW—
———systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. Prior to 5.33.14, the Linux networkStats(iface) implementation uses the caller-supplied interface value in an fs.existsSync() check and to build /sys/class/net/<iface> paths, including the operstate path, without verifying that it is a single interface-name segment or that the resolved path remains under /sys/class/net. An attacker who can control iface and create a directory containing symlinked statistics files can use parent-directory components and symlink traversal to make the API return the first line of a file readable by the Node.js process. The package does not expose a network endpoint, and the demonstrated scenario requires local filesystem setup. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.14.3hCVE-2026-93864——
———A link following vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS’s firewall daemon allows a local attacker with code execution as a low-privileged system process to overwrite arbitrary files with root privileges, and to tamper with firewall IP set data, by planting a crafted file system object and triggering a list update. Written content is partially constrained.4hCVE-2026-923777.8 HIG—
———Improper access control in the Patch
Management update mechanism of TeamViewer Full Client and Host for Windows
prior to version 15.82 allows a local authenticated attacker with low
privileges to supply a signed executable through a forged IPC response and
cause it to load a malicious DLL from a user-writable temporary directory.
Successful exploitation results in arbitrary code execution with NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM privileges.4hCVE-2026-1168225.3 MED—
——0YesWiki before 4.7.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in BazarListeAction that allows unauthenticated attackers to select arbitrary templates within the @bazar Twig namespace via the template GET parameter. Attackers can append crafted template values to pages containing the bazarliste action to force unintended layouts, causing page defacement for visitors following the crafted link.5hCVE-2026-766545.8 MED—
——0An NTLM coercion vulnerability exists on Windows nodes when the subPath supplied in a pod's volumeMounts is set to a symbolic link that points to an attacker-controlled network share. When a kubelet resolves symlinks, it does not reject a target that resolves to a UNC path. As a result, the kubelet will transparently attempt to authenticate to the share using NTLM. This allows an attacker to obtain the NetNTLMv2 hash of the account under which the kubelet is running. An attacker could then attempt to crack the hash to retrieve the corresponding password or relay it to impersonate the node, if the node is domain-joined.5hCVE-2026-1159087.4 HIG—
——0zip is a zip library for Rust that supports reading and writing simple ZIP files. From 7.2.0 until 9.0.0, ZipArchive::extract and ZipArchive::extract_unwrapped_root_dir use safe_prepare_path in src/read/zipfile.rs and simplified_components in src/path.rs to validate symbolic link targets with a lexical prefix comparison rather than resolving each intermediate link. An attacker who knows or can guess the absolute extraction destination can create a chain whose apparent target remains under the destination while an intermediate symlink resolves outside it, allowing attacker-controlled files to be created or overwritten with the extracting process's privileges. On Windows, discarded drive and UNC prefixes can permit a single-link escape when the process has SeCreateSymbolicLinkPrivilege, such as through administrator rights or Developer Mode. This regression is distinct from CVE-2025-29787. This issue is fixed in version 9.0.0.1d
