CVE-2026-1137327.8 HIG—
———virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.2, FishActivator inherits ViaTemplateActivator.quote(), which uses POSIX shlex.quote() even though fish interprets backslashes and single quotes differently. An attacker-influenced environment path, --prompt, or VIRTUALENV_PROMPT value containing a backslash before a quote can therefore terminate the generated fish literal and execute command substitution when the user sources activate.fish. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.2.9hCVE-2026-1137267.8 HIG—
———virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.13.0, the bash activate script that zsh also sources leaves the environment name unescaped; from 21.13.0 until 21.14.4, it escapes backslashes, dollar signs, and backticks only when BASH_VERSION is set, so zsh receives the raw value. The script assigns that value to PS1. In zsh with PROMPT_SUBST, an attacker-influenced environment directory, --prompt, or VIRTUALENV_PROMPT value containing command, parameter, or arithmetic expansion syntax can therefore execute commands in the user's shell each time the prompt is drawn. A percent sign is separately interpreted as a zsh prompt escape but does not by itself execute commands. Plain zsh with PROMPT_SUBST disabled and bash are not affected by this mechanism. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.4.9hCVE-2026-1137257.8 HIG—
———virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.7, the bash activate script escapes the environment name for only one of the two passes bash makes over PS1, so a backslash in the name undoes the escaping and a name containing \$(...) runs as commands in the user's shell each time bash draws the prompt. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.7.11hCVE-2026-113667——
———ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 1.5.5 of the Form add-on, 1.2.1 of login-recaptcha, and 1.3.0 of login-hcaptcha, these three CAPTCHA integrations interpolate an unencoded user-supplied response token into the provider verification request. Crafted tokens can smuggle request parameters and disrupt CAPTCHA verification and CAPTCHA-gated form or login flows; automated bypass probing is possible, but a successful CAPTCHA bypass or secret disclosure is not established. This issue is fixed in Form 1.5.5, login-recaptcha 1.2.1, and login-hcaptcha 1.3.0.11hCVE-2026-1129494.7 MED—
———Vitest is a Vite-native testing framework for JavaScript and TypeScript projects. From 2.1.0-beta.7 until 4.1.12 and 5.0.3, an unauthenticated non-browser WebSocket client that can reach a development server using interceptorPlugin can register a manual mock whose attacker-controlled url createManualModuleSource inserts unescaped into generated module source. When the developer browser loads the affected module, attacker-controlled JavaScript executes on the development-server origin. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.12 and 5.0.3.11hCVE-2026-1107253.7 LOW—
——0fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions before 2.4.8, from 3.0.0 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, when serialize(), normalize(), or resolve() are called with the non-default option reference set to suffix on a reference that has no authority, the emitted relative reference can contain a bare colon in its first path segment without escaping it, even though RFC 3986 forbids that because it makes the string reparse as an absolute URI with a scheme. An application that serializes or normalizes a relative reference with the suffix option and then treats the result as a URI can turn inert input into a live javascript, data, or vbscript URL, a cross-site scripting vector, and the equal() comparison can conflate a scheme-bearing reference with a relative one. Exposure is limited to applications using the non-default suffix reference option. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, avoid the suffix reference option on untrusted input, or percent-encode a colon in the first path segment of the result before treating it as a URI.11h
