CVE-2026-98892——
———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
firmware: arm_scmi: Validate BASE_ERROR_EVENT payload size
BASE_ERROR_EVENT carries a variable number of message reports,
with the count encoded in error_status. The notification parser used
that count without checking whether the received payload contained all
reported entries.
Reject truncated payloads before copying the report array.12hCVE-2026-99004——
———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/imagination: Size page table preallocation by device address
Commit 0a8224058a58 ("drm/imagination: Fix page count for page table for
map() interface") passed the device address to
pvr_mmu_op_context_create(), but the preallocation is still sized from
device_addr + sgt_offset with an exclusive end. The offset into the
object's pages has no place in a device-virtual range, and the exclusive
end allocates one table too many when the range ends on a table
boundary.
Count the tables from device_addr and the inclusive end of the range.
The new calculation does not take page table indices into account. This
fixes another issue with the previous implementation, where the
difference between start and end indices could underflow when a mapping
crossed a page table boundary. This would lead to the driver
preallocating a huge number of MMU pages, exhausting system memory and
triggering an out of memory panic.

———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: validate deauth frame length before reason access
ieee80211_rx_mgmt_deauth() reads the deauth reason code before checking
that the fixed field is actually present in the received frame.
Validate the deauth frame length first and only then read the reason
code.12hCVE-2026-98890——
———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: libertas: reject short monitor TX frames
In monitor mode, lbs_hard_start_xmit() casts skb->data to a
radiotap TX header, skips that header, and then copies the 802.11
destination address from offset 4 in the remaining frame. The
generic length check only rejects zero-length and oversized skbs, so
a short monitor frame can be read past the end of the skb data.
Require enough bytes for the radiotap TX header and the destination
address field before using the monitor-mode header layout.12hCVE-2026-98889——
———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix sched scan IE sizing
Scheduled scan built the probe request before iwl_mvm_scan_fits(),
so oversized IEs could be copied into the fixed preq buffer before
length validation. Move iwl_mvm_build_scan_probe() after the fits
check.
Also advertise max_sched_scan_ie_len using iwl_mvm_max_scan_ie_len()
so userspace limits account for driver-inserted DS/TPC bytes.12hCVE-2026-98888——
———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: kprobes: Allow reentering kprobes while single-stepping
A kprobe can be hit while another kprobe is in KPROBE_HIT_SS state. This
can happen when tracing or perf code runs from the debug exception path
while the first kprobe is preparing or executing its out-of-line
single-step instruction.
Currently arm64 treats a kprobe hit in KPROBE_HIT_SS as unrecoverable,
the same as a hit in KPROBE_REENTER. This is too strict. A hit in
KPROBE_HIT_SS is still a one-level reentry and can be handled by saving
the current kprobe state and setting up single-step for the new probe,
just like reentry from KPROBE_HIT_ACTIVE or KPROBE_HIT_SSDONE.
The truly unrecoverable case is hitting another kprobe while already in
KPROBE_REENTER, because the reentry save area has already been consumed.
Move KPROBE_HIT_SS to the recoverable reentry cases and leave
KPROBE_REENTER as the unrecoverable nested reentry case.
This change also requires saving saved_irqflag in struct prev_kprobe.
When a nested kprobe calls kprobes_save_local_irqflag(), it overwrites
kcb->saved_irqflag with the currently masked DAIF value, losing the
outer kprobe's original DAIF state. Without this fix, when the outer
kprobe's single-step finishes, kprobes_restore_local_irqflag() applies
the wrong DAIF mask and leaves interrupts permanently disabled.
Extend struct prev_kprobe with a saved_irqflag field and save/restore it
alongside kp and status. This ensures the outer kprobe's original
interrupt state is preserved across reentry.
This mirrors the x86 fix in commit 6a5022a56ac3
("kprobes/x86: Allow to handle reentered kprobe on single-stepping").12hCVE-2026-98887——
———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211_hwsim: reject undersized HWSIM_ATTR_TX_INFO
hwsim_tx_info_frame_received_nl() casts the HWSIM_ATTR_TX_INFO payload
to a struct hwsim_tx_rate * and unconditionally reads
IEEE80211_TX_MAX_RATES entries (8 bytes) from it. The policy only bounds
the attribute from above (NLA_BINARY .len is a maximum) and the op sets
GENL_DONT_VALIDATE_STRICT, so a short or zero-length attribute is
accepted and the loop reads past the payload.
Require the exact length in the policy, so a malformed attribute is
rejected before the handler runs.12hCVE-2026-98886——
———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/gma500: return errors from Oaktrail HDMI I2C reads
xfer_read() waits for the HDMI I2C transaction to reach
I2C_TRANSACTION_DONE, but it ignores both timeout and signal returns from
wait_for_completion_interruptible_timeout(). If the interrupt never
advances the transaction state, the loop can wait forever.
Return -ETIMEDOUT when the completion wait expires, propagate interrupted
waits, and make the I2C master_xfer callback return the first transfer
error instead of reporting a successful message count.12hCVE-2026-98885——

———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mmc: core: Add validation for host-provided max_segs
The max_segs field is of type unsigned short, and if a host driver
sets an excessively large value, it may be truncated to zero. This
can cause mmc_alloc_sg() to call kmalloc_objs() with a zero size
allocation request, which leads to undefined behavior.
Under the SLUB allocator, kmalloc(0) returns a special pointer
(ZERO_SIZE_PTR). The subsequent 'if (sg)' check will evaluate to
true, and sg_init_table() will then attempt to access invalid memory,
resulting in a crash:

To prevent this, add a validation check in mmc_mq_init_request() to
detect when sg_len (derived from max_segs) is zero. If sg_len is zero,
we return an error and print an error message, allowing host driver
developers to identify and fix incorrect max_segs configuration.
This is a defensive measure that ensures the MMC core fails gracefully
when host drivers provide invalid max_segs values, rather than crashing
with a page fault.12hCVE-2026-98883——

———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/i915/gt: Unmask interrupts only when ACTIVE is true
There is a small race window between intel_rps_boost() reading
a stale ACTIVE state and queuing rps->work, where ACTIVE may be
changed via asynchronous calls triggered by wakeref drop.
This means that rps_work() could be triggered after the GT has
been parked, so unmasking RPS PM interrupts would happen without
holding PM wakelock. This sequence of events may be observed
during live_rc6_ctx_wa() selftest:
1) live_rc6_ctx_wa()
-> intel_engine_pm_put()
-> wakeref_put()
ASYNC1) wakeref_put() callback
-> __engine_park()
-> intel_gt_pm_put_async()
-> intel_gt_pm_put_async_untracked()
-> intel_wakeref_put_async()
ASYNC2) wakeref_put_async() callback
-> __gt_park()
-> intel_rps_park()
-> intel_rps_clear_active() [clear ACTIVE]
WITH INTERRUPTS:
-> rps_disable_interrupts()
-> cancel_work_sync(rps->work)
-> rps_reset_interrupts() [rps->pm_iir = 0]
WITHOUT INTERRUPTS (TIMER mode):
-> rps_stop_timer()
-> cancel_work_sync(rps->work)
2) live_rc6_ctx_wa()
-> intel_gt_wait_for_idle()
-> intel_gt_retire_requests_timeout()
-> dma_fence_wait_timeout()
-> ops->wait() [i915_fence_wait()]
-> i915_request_wait_timeout()
-> intel_rps_boost()
-> intel_rps_is_active() [check ACTIVE]
[OPEN RACE WINDOW]
-> queue_work(rps->work)
-> retire_requests()
-> i915_request_retire()
-> intel_rps_dec_waiters() [from 1 to 0]
If ASYNC1 and ASYNC2 would execute during [OPEN RACE WINDOW],
then:
3) rps_work() executes from the workqueue and may satisfy
"(!pm_iir && !client_boost)" test (in TIMER mode rps->pm_iir
is zeroed by an earlier rps_work() call or never gets a new
value after previous intel_rps_unpark() event), so it jumps
to "out" label, bypassing intel_rps_is_active() guard and
executes gen6_gt_pm_unmask_irq();
4) GT is parked and runtime PM wakelock is dropped, so only
a raw reference in __gt_park() ->
intel_display_power_put_async() remains for 100ms, then the
MMIO write in gen6_gt_pm_unmask_irq() detects missing
wakelock via assert_rpm_wakelock_held() and emits
"RPM wakelock ref not held during HW access" tainting kernel.
Commit 3e7abf814193 ("drm/i915: Extract GT render power state management")
dropped the "if (rps->interrupts_enabled)" guard that
gen6_pm_rps_work() had around this unmask in i915_irq.c.
INTEL_RPS_ACTIVE brackets the same window, since it is set in
intel_rps_unpark() before rps_enable_interrupts() and
rps_start_timer() and cleared in intel_rps_park() before
rps_stop_timer() and rps_disable_interrupts().
Skip unmasking when RPS is no longer active (reaching unmask
operation is independent of INTERRUPT mode). This does not
prevent RPS operation from resuming on the next unpark.
In interrupt mode, intel_rps_unpark() calls
rps_enable_interrupts(), which enables and unmasks the PM
interrupts. In timer mode, it calls rps_start_timer(),
restarting periodic engine-busyness evaluation. The timer
generates software RPS events and queues rps_work() directly,
independently of PM interrupt delivery. Neither mode requires
the late worker to unmask interrupts while the GT is parked

———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
irqchip/gic-v5: Immediately exec priority drop following activate
With GICv5 an interrupt of equal or lower priority cannot be signalled
until there has been a priority drop. This is done via the GIC CDEOI
system instruction. Once this has been executed, the hardware is able
to signal the next interrupt if there is one.
As all interrupts are programmed to have the same priority, no new
interrupts can be signalled until the priority drop has happened. This
can cause issues when, for example, an interrupt remains active while
a long running process takes place, such as when injecting a physical
interrupt into a guest VM in software.
The GICv5 driver has so far done the priority drop as part of
irq_eoi(), i.e., at the same time as deactivating the interrupt. This
means that any long running process (or VM) could block incoming
interrupts, effectively causing a denial of service for all other
interrupts.
Rather than doing the EOI as part of irq_eoi() (which the name would
suggest would be a good place for it), move it to happen immediately
after acknowledging an interrupt in the main GICv5 interrupt
handler. The deactivation of interrupts (GIC CDDI) remains implemented
as part of irq_eoi(), which means that the same interrupt cannot be
signalled a second time until deactivated by software.12hCVE-2026-936364.3 MED—

when fb_helper->deferred_setup is set, so a later .restore() call
(drm_lastclose() on process exit, in this report) commits the stale
mode_set through drm_client_modeset_commit() ->
drm_client_modeset_commit_atomic() -> __drm_atomic_helper_set_config(),
which hits WARN_ON(!set->fb).
Mark fb_helper->deferred_setup on any drm_fb_helper_single_fb_probe()
failure, not just -EAGAIN, so restore keeps skipping the commit until
a later hotplug event successfully re-probes and re-populates
mode_set->fb. The real error code is still returned to the caller
unchanged.11hCVE-2026-98877——

Bluetooth: RFCOMM: Fix NULL tty_dev dereference in rfcomm_dev_shutdown
syzbot hit a NULL pointer dereference in rfcomm_dev_shutdown() when an
RFCOMM tty is closed.
rfcomm_dev_add() puts the new device on rfcomm_dev_list first and only
then registers the tty device and saves it in dev->tty_dev. If that
registration fails, dev->tty_dev is never set at all. The device can be
looked up in the meantime, so an open() of /dev/rfcommN gets through

ksmbd: remove stale channels from all sessions on teardown
ksmbd_sessions_deregister() removes a connection's channels from other
sessions' channel lists only while conn->binding is still set:
if (conn->binding) {
hash_for_each_safe(sessions_table, ...)
ksmbd_chann_del(conn, sess);
}
conn->binding is a transient flag: it is cleared once a binding
SESSION_SETUP completes, and also by a subsequent non-binding
SESSION_SETUP on the same connection (a reauthentication on a bound
channel, or a new SessionId==0 setup). A connection that has bound a
channel into another session's ksmbd_chann_list and then clears
conn->binding leaves that channel behind when it disconnects: the
channel, whose chann->conn points at the now freed struct ksmbd_conn,
stays on the owner session's list.
When the owning connection later tears down, the second loop
dereferences the stale channel:
xa_for_each(&sess->ksmbd_chann_list, chann_id, chann)
if (chann->conn != conn)
ksmbd_conn_set_exiting(chann->conn); /* freed */
which is a use-after-free write into the freed ksmbd_conn (the same
stale channel is also walked by show_proc_session() through /proc). The
session is leaked as well, because its channel list never empties.
Remove the conn->binding gate so a connection always removes its
channels from every session on teardown.12hCVE-2026-95620——

Bluetooth: RFCOMM: connect the session socket without rfcomm_mutex
An RFCOMM connect() issued while a BR/EDR link is being authenticated
makes lockdep report a circular dependency, and the reported cycle is a
real AB/BA between rfcomm_mutex and hdev->lock.
rfcomm_security_cfm() is called from the HCI event path, which already
holds hdev->lock:
hci_rx_work()
hci_event_packet()
hci_cc_read_enc_key_size() [hdev->lock]
hci_encrypt_cfm() [hci_cb_list_lock]
rfcomm_security_cfm() [rfcomm_mutex]
while an RFCOMM connect() from userspace takes the same two locks the
other way round:
rfcomm_sock_connect()
rfcomm_dlc_open() [rfcomm_mutex]
__rfcomm_dlc_open()
rfcomm_session_create()
kernel_connect()
l2cap_sock_connect()
l2cap_chan_connect() [hdev->lock]

but task is already holding lock:
hci_cb_list_lock, at: hci_cc_read_enc_key_size+0x1d2/0xcc0
Chain exists of:
rfcomm_mutex --> &hdev->lock --> hci_cb_list_lock
hci_auth_complete_evt() and hci_encrypt_change_evt() reach the callback
the same way.
Both orders have to be seen in the same boot, which is why a BR/EDR
connection alone is not enough to show it: a session set up by the
remote side is created by rfcomm_accept_connection() in krfcommd, which
calls kernel_accept() and never takes hdev->lock under rfcomm_mutex.
Connecting a device that authenticates and encrypts the link and then
calling connect() on an RFCOMM socket towards any address - the connect
does not have to succeed, the order is recorded before the page timeout
- reports it every time.
Only the session socket has to be connected with the lock held, and it
does not: nothing else can see the socket before it is put on the
session list. So connect it first and take rfcomm_mutex afterwards,
which removes the rfcomm_mutex -> hdev->lock order for good, rather
than keeping the HCI event path out of rfcomm_mutex.
rfcomm_session_create() becomes rfcomm_session_connect(), which returns
the connected socket without touching the session list, and
rfcomm_dlc_open() adds the session once it holds the lock again. If
another opener added a session for the same pair while this socket was
connecting, that session is used and this socket is dropped.
__rfcomm_dlc_open() now takes the session it should use, and its state
check runs after the lock is re-acquired, so a DLC that was opened or
closed in the meantime is still handled.
Over an existing ACL link the connection can complete before the
session reaches the list, and the wakeup from the socket callback is
then lost, so krfcommd is woken once the session is visible.
Connecting without the lock opens a window in which the socket can be
closed. The DLC is not on a session yet, so rfcomm_dlc_close() finds
nothing to do and returns without touching it, and rfcomm_dlc_open()
would then attach a DLC whose owner is gone. rfcomm_dlc_close() now
marks such a DLC with RFCOMM_CLOSED, and rfcomm_dlc_open() checks the
mark once it holds rfcomm_mutex again and drops the socket instead of
attaching the DLC. The mark is cleared when an open starts, so a DLC
that is reused is not affected. This covers both callers of
rfcomm_dlc_open(), the socket and the tty layer.11hCVE-2026-568387.8 HIG—
———PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. From version 4.5.87 to before version 4.6.59, PraisonAI recipe execution blocks default-denied dangerous tools unless the caller explicitly passes allow_dangerous_tools=True. The normal recipe.run() path enforces this with _check_tool_policy(). The streaming path, recipe.run_stream(), loads the same recipe, checks dependencies, and then calls _execute_recipe() without running the dangerous-tool policy check. As a result, a recipe that honestly declares execute_command in TEMPLATE.yaml requires.tools is denied by recipe.run(), but reaches the execution engine through recipe.run_stream() with allow_dangerous_tools=False. When the secret is absent, startup only logs a warning and _handle_webhook() skips Linear-Signature verification entirely. An unauthenticated network caller who can reach the webhook endpoint can submit a forged Linear-Event: AgentSession request. The forged request is parsed, scheduled for background processing, dispatched to _handle_agent_session(), and passed into BotSessionManager.chat(). The bot then attempts to post the agent response back to Linear under the configured bot token. The PoV is offline and deterministic. It does not contact Linear. It calls the webhook handler directly, monkey-patches the outbound Linear comment path, and proves both sides of the boundary. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.59.12hCVE-2026-568368.2 HIG—

———In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: RFCOMM: free the skb when the DLC has no owner
rfcomm_recv_data() hands the skb to d->data_ready() and returns 0
without freeing it, so the callback owns the skb from that point on.
The tty implementation frees it when the DLC has been detached from its
device:
static void rfcomm_dev_data_ready(struct rfcomm_dlc *dlc,
struct sk_buff *skb)
{
struct rfcomm_dev *dev = dlc->owner;
if (!dev) {
kfree_skb(skb);
return;
}
The socket implementation returns without freeing it, and the skb is
leaked.
A connected DLC can have no owner: rfcomm_sock_destruct() clears
d->owner, while the DLC itself stays on the session until it is closed.
Data frames that arrive in that window still find d->state ==
BT_CONNECTED in rfcomm_recv_data() and are handed to the callback, one
leaked skb each.
The leak does not stop on its own either. The remote runs out of
credits only once RFCOMM_RX_THROTTLED is set, and for a socket the only
place that sets it is rfcomm_sk_data_ready() itself, below the return.
rfcomm_process_dlcs() keeps granting credits, so the remote keeps
sending and the leak keeps growing.
Free the skb, as the tty side does.11h
