——6When mail_max_userip_connections is set (default 10) and reached, submission-login can crash with epoll() panic caused by file descriptor handling issues. If running in high-security mode (default for community releases), only the new submission connection gets terminated. If running in high-performance mode (default for Pro releases), all connections handled by the submission-login process will be terminated. The crashes can cause failure for user to send a message, or it can cause duplicate messages to be sent. If TLS is not used (in the backend server processing the submission), duplicate deliveries cannot happen, because the crash can only happen at AUTH stage. Limit the number of connections handled by single submission-login process. This has a performance impact though. Update to non-vulnerable version. Prior to 4.13.0, coturn rejects loopback peers by default unless allow-loopback-peers is enabled, but the default loopback guard can be bypassed by using the IPv4-mapped IPv6 peer address ::ffff:127.0.0.1 in a TURN XOR-PEER-ADDRESS attribute. ioa_addr_is_loopback checks for the literal IPv6 loopback shape before IPv4-mapped IPv6 handling, so good_peer_addr does not apply the default loopback rejection and an authenticated TURN client can expose services bound only to localhost on the coturn host through TURN relay traffic. In Nextcloud Server from versions 32.0.0 to before 32.0.9, and 33.0.0 to before 33.0.3, an authentication bypass vulnerability allowed attackers with knowledge of a user's password to circumvent two-factor authentication (2FA) protections. When a user initiated login with valid credentials on a 2FA-enabled account, the system created a temporary session token before enforcing the second factor challenge.
