6Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.16, 20.3.24, and 19.2.25, a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in @angular/platform-server's DOM emulation dependency (domino) when serializing the content of raw-text elements (such as <script>, <style>, and <iframe>). domino supports escaping raw-text elements during serialization to prevent closing-tag breakout. However, a Unicode index alignment bug existed in this escaping logic. In JavaScript, string lengths and character indices are calculated based on UTF-16 code units (where astral characters—such as emojis—occupy 2 code units / 4 bytes). If the bound dynamic text contained astral Unicode characters before the closing tag (e.g. </script>, </style>, or </iframe>), the index offset calculation in domino's replacement logic shifted. This misalignment caused domino to fail to replace or escape the closing tag, leaving it raw and unescaped in the output HTML. An attacker who controls the dynamic text can supply a payload containing both an astral Unicode character and a closing tag (e.g., 😀</iframe><script>alert(1)</script>). When serialized on the server during SSR, the browser parses the unescaped closing tag, exits the raw-text context early, and executes the subsequent <script> block, leading to same-origin Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.16, 20.3.24, and 19.2.25.54d

6FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 contains an out-of-bounds read in the IPv4 packet parser. In src/simple_packet_parser_ng.cpp, after validating that the packet contains at least sizeof(ipv4_header_t) bytes (20 bytes), the code advances the local_pointer by '4 * ipv4_header->get_ihl()' (line 164) without validating that (a) IHL >= 5 (the minimum valid value per RFC 791), or (b) 4 * IHL bytes are actually available in the packet. The IHL field is 4 bits, allowing values 0-15, so the advance can be 0-60 bytes. An IHL value of 15 with only 20 bytes validated causes a 40-byte over-read. An IHL of 0-4 causes the pointer to not advance past the IP header, resulting in the TCP/UDP header being parsed from IP header data (type confusion). This vulnerability is reachable via any packet capture interface.41d

6In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: defio: fix the pagelist corruption Easily hit the below list corruption: == list_add corruption. prev->next should be next (ffffffffc0ceb090), but was ffffec604507edc8. This fix is to init all the page lists one time during initialization, it not only fixes the list corruption, but also avoids INIT_LIST_HEAD() redundantly. 6Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.3.0, a malicious image containing a `metadata.yaml` symlink pointing to an arbitrary host path allows an authenticated Incus user to read or overwrite any file on the host as root via the instance metadata API. The `exec-output` and `templates/` paths were patched in a prior release using `Lstat` rejection and `os.OpenRoot` confinement; `metadata.yaml` was not included in either patch and remains exploitable. Version 7.3.0 patches the issue.11d

6A flaw was found in the TrustyAI Service Operator. When deploying services like gorch or NemoGuardrails, if a specific security setting is not enabled, these services can expose their communication channels without requiring users to prove their identity. This allows any other program within the cluster to access the AI guardrails and orchestrator without proper authorization. An attacker could exploit this to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information and potentially make limited changes to the AI models.1d

6In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: VMAP_STACK overflow detection thread-safe commit 31da94c25aea ("riscv: add VMAP_STACK overflow detection") added support for CONFIG_VMAP_STACK. If overflow is detected, CPU switches to `shadow_stack` temporarily before switching finally to per-cpu `overflow_stack`. If two CPUs/harts are racing and end up in over flowing kernel stack, one or both will end up corrupting each other state because `shadow_stack` is not per-cpu. This patch optimizes per-cpu overflow stack switch by directly picking per-cpu `overflow_stack` and gets rid of `shadow_stack`. Following are the changes in this patch - Defines an asm macro to obtain per-cpu symbols in destination register. - In entry.S, when overflow is detected, per-cpu overflow stack is located using per-cpu asm macro. Computing per-cpu symbol requires a temporary register. x31 is saved away into CSR_SCRATCH (CSR_SCRATCH is anyways zero since we're in kernel). Please see Links for additional relevant disccussion and alternative solution.
