5The InfusedWoo Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.17. This is due to a missing capability check in the `ajax_iwar_preview_email()` function, which uses `is_admin()` as its only authorization check and allows low-privilege users to render email preview merge fields for an arbitrary email address. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to generate and retrieve a valid password reset link for any WordPress user, including administrators, enabling account takeover.2d

5In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: avoid leaving partial pfn mappings around in error case As Jann points out, PFN mappings are special, because unlike normal memory mappings, there is no lifetime information associated with the mapping - it is just a raw mapping of PFNs with no reference counting of a 'struct page'. That's all very much intentional, but it does mean that it's easy to mess up the cleanup in case of errors. Yes, a failed mmap() will always eventually clean up any partial mappings, but without any explicit lifetime in the page table mapping itself, it's very easy to do the error handling in the wrong order. In particular, it's easy to mistakenly free the physical backing store before the page tables are actually cleaned up and (temporarily) have stale dangling PTE entries. To make this situation less error-prone, just make sure that any partial pfn mapping is torn down early, before any other error handling.25d

5In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-pci: add missing condition check for existence of mapped data nvme_map_data() is called when request has physical segments, hence the nvme_unmap_data() should have same condition to avoid dereference.25d

5goshs is a SimpleHTTPServer written in Go. Prior to version 2.1.0, `ShareHandler` reads the share token's `DownloadLimit` under `RLock`, releases the lock, serves the file, then re-acquires the lock to increment the counter. Concurrent requests all read the same `Downloaded`/`DownloadLimit` snapshot, all pass the check, and all are served — exceeding the operator's intended cap. Version 2.1.0 patches the issue.10d

5Vulnerability in the Oracle Service Fulfillment Manager product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Fulfillment Engine). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Service Fulfillment Manager. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle Service Fulfillment Manager, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Service Fulfillment Manager accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Service Fulfillment Manager accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.6 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N).16h

5In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of: Fix double free in of_parse_phandle_with_args_map In of_parse_phandle_with_args_map() the inner loop that iterates through the map entries calls of_node_put(new) to free the reference acquired by the previous iteration of the inner loop. This assumes that the value of "new" is NULL on the first iteration of the inner loop. Make sure that this is true in all iterations of the outer loop by setting "new" to NULL after its value is assigned to "cur". Extend the unittest to detect the double free and add an additional test case that actually triggers this path.25d

5In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: fix use-after-free in tw_timer_handler A real world panic issue was found as follow in Linux 5.4. BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffde49a863de28 PGD 7e6fe62067 P4D 7e6fe62067 PUD 7e6fe63067 PMD f51e064067 PTE 0 RIP: 0010:tw_timer_handler+0x20/0x40 Call Trace: <IRQ> call_timer_fn+0x2b/0x120 run_timer_softirq+0x1ef/0x450 __do_softirq+0x10d/0x2b8 irq_exit+0xc7/0xd0 smp_apic_timer_interrupt+0x68/0x120 apic_timer_interrupt+0xf/0x20 This issue was also reported since 2017 in the thread [1], unfortunately, the issue was still can be reproduced after fixing DCCP. The ipv4_mib_exit_net is called before tcp_sk_exit_batch when a net namespace is destroyed since tcp_sk_ops is registered befrore ipv4_mib_ops, which means tcp_sk_ops is in the front of ipv4_mib_ops in the list of pernet_list. There will be a use-after-free on net->mib.net_statistics in tw_timer_handler after ipv4_mib_exit_net if there are some inflight time-wait timers. This bug is not introduced by commit f2bf415cfed7 ("mib: add net to NET_ADD_STATS_BH") since the net_statistics is a global variable instead of dynamic allocation and freeing. Actually, commit 61a7e26028b9 ("mib: put net statistics on struct net") introduces the bug since it put net statistics on struct net and free it when net namespace is destroyed. Moving init_ipv4_mibs() to the front of tcp_init() to fix this bug and replace pr_crit() with panic() since continuing is meaningless when init_ipv4_mibs() fails. 5SurrealDB versions before 2.2.2 contain a local file read vulnerability in the DEFINE ANALYZER statement that allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files on the file system. Attackers with root, namespace, or database level privileges can point analyzers to arbitrary file paths and exfiltrate content from two-column tab-separated files.16d

5In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86/amd/pmc: Only disable IRQ1 wakeup where i8042 actually enabled it Wakeup for IRQ1 should be disabled only in cases where i8042 had actually enabled it, otherwise "wake_depth" for this IRQ will try to drop below zero and there will be an unpleasant WARN() logged: kernel: atkbd serio0: Disabling IRQ1 wakeup source to avoid platform firmware bug kernel: ------------[ cut here ]------------ kernel: Unbalanced IRQ 1 wake disable kernel: WARNING: CPU: 10 PID: 6431 at kernel/irq/manage.c:920 irq_set_irq_wake+0x147/0x1a0 The PMC driver uses DEFINE_SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS() to define its dev_pm_ops which sets amd_pmc_suspend_handler() to the .suspend, .freeze, and .poweroff handlers. i8042_pm_suspend(), however, is only set as the .suspend handler. Fix the issue by call PMC suspend handler only from the same set of dev_pm_ops handlers as i8042_pm_suspend(), which currently means just the .suspend handler. To reproduce this issue try hibernating (S4) the machine after a fresh boot without putting it into s2idle first. [ij: edited the commit message.]46d
