——3lettre is a a mailer library for Rust. Starting in version 0.10.1 and prior to version 0.11.22, an inverted-boolean bug in lettre's `boring-tls` integration silently disables TLS hostname verification for callers using the default (strict) configuration. An on-path attacker presenting any chain-valid certificate for any domain can intercept SMTP submission, including PLAIN/LOGIN credentials and message contents, against any lettre user built with the `boring-tls` feature. Other TLS backends (`native-tls`, `rustls`) are unaffected. Version 0.11.22 patches the issue.17dCVE-2026-12030—9.0%

mptcp: fix UaF in listener shutdown
As reported by Christoph after having refactored the passive
socket initialization, the mptcp listener shutdown path is prone
to an UaF issue.

The msk grace period can legitly expire in between the last
reference count dropped in mptcp_subflow_queue_clean() and
the later eventual access in inet_csk_listen_stop()
After the previous patch we don't need anymore special-casing
msk listener socket cleanup: the mptcp worker will process each
of the unaccepted msk sockets.
Just drop the now unnecessary code.
Please note this commit depends on the two parent ones:
mptcp: refactor passive socket initialization
mptcp: use the workqueue to destroy unaccepted sockets6dCVE-2026-580326.1 MED9.0%

——3In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
veth: Fix use after free in XDP_REDIRECT
Commit 718a18a0c8a6 ("veth: Rework veth_xdp_rcv_skb in order
to accept non-linear skb") introduced a bug where it tried to
use pskb_expand_head() if the headroom was less than
XDP_PACKET_HEADROOM. This however uses kmalloc to expand the head,
which will later allow consume_skb() to free the skb while is it still
in use by AF_XDP.
Previously if the headroom was less than XDP_PACKET_HEADROOM we
continued on to allocate a new skb from pages so this restores that
behavior.

media: venus: fix use after free bug in venus_remove due to race condition
in venus_probe, core->work is bound with venus_sys_error_handler, which is
used to handle error. The code use core->sys_err_done to make sync work.
The core->work is started in venus_event_notify.
If we call venus_remove, there might be an unfished work. The possible
sequence is as follows:
CPU0 CPU1
|venus_sys_error_handler
venus_remove |
hfi_destroy |
venus_hfi_destroy |
kfree(hdev); |
|hfi_reinit
|venus_hfi_queues_reinit
|//use hdev
Fix it by canceling the work in venus_remove.6dCVE-2025-58712—9.0%
