——1Knot DNS before 3.4.10 and 3.5.x before 3.5.4 contains a vulnerability in mod-onlinesign where the next NSEC owner name can be computed incorrectly. This can create an overly broad authenticated denial interval, allowing downstream validating resolvers using aggressive negative caching to synthesize negative answers for legitimate names and causing resolver-side denial of service.14hCVE-2021-47822—4.7%

Prior to 1.8.1 and 1.9.1, SamlSerializer skips final SignatureValue verification when a CoreWCF service validates SAML tokens using a non-X.509 signing token, allowing an attacker to reference a non-X.509 SecurityToken key identifier and bypass assertion signature verification. After calling bpf_exec_tx_verdict(), the size of msg_pl->sg may increase,
e.g., when the BPF program executes bpf_msg_push_data().
If the BPF program sets cork_bytes and sg.size is smaller than cork_bytes,
it will return -ENOSPC and attempt to roll back to the non-zero copy
logic. However, during rollback, msg->msg_iter is reset, but since
msg_pl->sg.size has been increased, subsequent executions will exceed the
actual size of msg_iter.
'''
iov_iter_revert(&msg->msg_iter, msg_pl->sg.size - orig_size);
'''
The changes in this commit are based on the following considerations:
1. When cork_bytes is set, rolling back to non-zero copy logic is
pointless and can directly go to zero-copy logic.
2. We can not calculate the correct number of bytes to revert msg_iter.
Assume the original data is "abcdefgh" (8 bytes), and after 3 pushes
by the BPF program, it becomes 11-byte data: "abc?de?fgh?".
Then, we set cork_bytes to 6, which means the first 6 bytes have been
processed, and the remaining 5 bytes "?fgh?" will be cached until the
length meets the cork_bytes requirement.
However, some data in "?fgh?" is not within 'sg->msg_iter'
(but in msg_pl instead), especially the data "?" we pushed.
So it doesn't seem as simple as just reverting through an offset of
msg_iter.
3. For non-TLS sockets in tcp_bpf_sendmsg, when a "cork" situation occurs,
the user-space send() doesn't return an error, and the returned length is
the same as the input length parameter, even if some data is cached.
Additionally, I saw that the current non-zero-copy logic for handling
corking is written as:
'''
line 1177
else if (ret != -EAGAIN) {
if (ret == -ENOSPC)
ret = 0;
goto send_end;
'''
So it's ok to just return 'copied' without error when a "cork" situation
occurs.1dCVE-2024-26725—4.7%

——1The Linuxulator determined whether a binary was set-user-ID or set-group-ID by checking the P_SUGID process flag. During execve(2), this flag is not yet set at the point where the auxiliary vector is constructed, so AT_SECURE was incorrectly set to zero for set-user-ID and set-group-ID executables.
An unprivileged local user can inject a shared library via LD_PRELOAD into a set-user-ID or set-group-ID Linux binary, gaining the privileges of that binary.30dCVE-2024-47971—4.7%

bpf: Fix softlockup in arena_map_free on 64k page kernel
On an aarch64 kernel with CONFIG_PAGE_SIZE_64KB=y,
arena_htab tests cause a segmentation fault and soft lockup.
The same failure is not observed with 4k pages on aarch64.
It turns out arena_map_free() is calling
apply_to_existing_page_range() with the address returned by
bpf_arena_get_kern_vm_start(). If this address is not page-aligned
the code ends up calling apply_to_pte_range() with that unaligned
address causing soft lockup.
Fix it by round up GUARD_SZ to PAGE_SIZE << 1 so that the
division by 2 in bpf_arena_get_kern_vm_start() returns
a page-aligned value.1dCVE-2025-387307.8 HIG4.7%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring/net: commit partial buffers on retry
Ring provided buffers are potentially only valid within the single
execution context in which they were acquired. io_uring deals with this
and invalidates them on retry. But on the networking side, if
MSG_WAITALL is set, or if the socket is of the streaming type and too
little was processed, then it will hang on to the buffer rather than
recycle or commit it. This is problematic for two reasons:
1) If someone unregisters the provided buffer ring before a later retry,
then the req->buf_list will no longer be valid.
2) If multiple sockers are using the same buffer group, then multiple
receives can consume the same memory. This can cause data corruption
in the application, as either receive could land in the same
userspace buffer.
Fix this by disallowing partial retries from pinning a provided buffer
across multiple executions, if ring provided buffers are used.1dCVE-2019-10492—4.7%

rpl: Fix use-after-free in rpl_do_srh_inline().
Running lwt_dst_cache_ref_loop.sh in selftest with KASAN triggers
the splat below [0].
rpl_do_srh_inline() fetches ipv6_hdr(skb) and accesses it after
skb_cow_head(), which is illegal as the header could be freed then.
Let's fix it by making oldhdr to a local struct instead of a pointer.

——1Nimiq is a Rust implementation of the Nimiq Proof-of-Stake protocol based on the Albatross consensus algorithm. Prior to version 1.4.0, a logic flaw in BlockInclusionProof::is_block_proven causes the function to return true without performing any cryptographic verification when get_interlink_hops yields an empty hop list. This occurs when the target block is at the election block position immediately preceding the election head's epoch. An attacker providing transaction inclusion proofs can forge a MacroBlock header for that epoch position and have it accepted as "proven" without any hash or signature verification. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0.8dCVE-2019-25307—4.7%
