net: macb: fix use-after-free access to PTP clock
PTP clock is registered on every opening of the interface and destroyed on
every closing. However it may be accessed via get_ts_info ethtool call
which is possible while the interface is just present in the kernel.

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
audit: fix incorrect inheritable capability in CAPSET records
__audit_log_capset() records the effective capability set into the
inheritable field due to a copy-paste error. Every CAPSET audit
record therefore reports cap_pi (process inheritable) with the value
of cap_effective instead of cap_inheritable.
This silently corrupts audit data used for compliance and forensic
analysis: an attacker who modifies inheritable capabilities to
prepare for a privilege-escalating exec would have the change masked
in the audit trail.
The bug has been present since the original introduction of CAPSET
audit records in 2008.15dCVE-2026-532915.5 MED2.4%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: hda/conexant: Fix missing error check for jack detection
In cx_probe(), the return value of snd_hda_jack_detect_enable_callback()
is ignored. This function returns a pointer, and if it fails (e.g., due
to memory allocation failure), it returns an error pointer which must
be checked using IS_ERR().
If the registration fails, the driver continues to probe, but the jack
detection callback will not be registered. This can lead to a kernel
crash later when the driver attempts to handle jack events or accesses
the uninitialized structure.
Check the return value using IS_ERR() and propagate the error via
PTR_ERR() to the probe caller.15dCVE-2026-530645.5 MED2.4%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: airoha: Move ndesc initialization at end of airoha_qdma_init_rx_queue()
If queue entry or DMA descriptor list allocation fails in
airoha_qdma_init_rx_queue routine, airoha_qdma_cleanup() will trigger a
NULL pointer dereference running netif_napi_del() for RX queue NAPIs
since netif_napi_add() has never been executed to this particular RX NAPI.
The issue is due to the early ndesc initialization in
airoha_qdma_init_rx_queue() since airoha_qdma_cleanup() relies on ndesc
value to check if the queue is properly initialized. Fix the issue moving
ndesc initialization at end of airoha_qdma_init_tx routine.
Move page_pool allocation after descriptor list allocation in order to
avoid memory leaks if desc allocation fails.15dCVE-2026-430407.1 HIG2.4%

net: ipv6: ndisc: fix ndisc_ra_useropt to initialize nduseropt_padX fields to zero to prevent an info-leak
When processing Router Advertisements with user options the kernel
builds an RTM_NEWNDUSEROPT netlink message. The nduseroptmsg struct
has three padding fields that are never zeroed and can leak kernel data
The fix is simple, just zeroes the padding fields.9dCVE-2026-530395.5 MED2.4%

[CAUSE]
ocfs2_group_add() calls ocfs2_set_new_buffer_uptodate() on a
user-controlled group block before ocfs2_verify_group_and_input()
validates that block number. That helper is only valid for newly
allocated metadata and asserts that the block is not already present in
the chosen metadata cache. The code also uses INODE_CACHE(inode) even
though the group descriptor belongs to main_bm_inode and later journal
accesses use that cache context instead.
[FIX]
Validate the on-disk group descriptor before caching it, then add it to
the metadata cache tracked by INODE_CACHE(main_bm_inode). Keep the
validation failure path separate from the later cleanup path so we only
remove the buffer from that cache after it has actually been inserted.
This keeps the group buffer lifetime consistent across validation,
journaling, and cleanup.8dCVE-2026-532085.5 MED2.4%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: L2CAP: reject BR/EDR signaling packets over MTUsig
net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:l2cap_sig_channel() accepts BR/EDR
signaling packets up to the channel MTU and dispatches each command
without enforcing the signaling MTU (MTUsig). A Bluetooth BR/EDR peer
within radio range can send a fixed-channel CID 0x0001 packet that is
larger than MTUsig and contains many L2CAP_ECHO_REQ commands before
pairing. In a real-radio stock-kernel run, one 681-byte signaling
packet containing 168 zero-length ECHO_REQ commands made the target
transmit 168 ECHO_RSP frames over about 220 ms.
Impact: a Bluetooth BR/EDR peer within radio range, before pairing, can
force 168 ECHO_RSP frames from one 681-byte fixed-channel signaling
packet containing packed ECHO_REQ commands.
Define Linux's BR/EDR signaling MTU as the spec minimum of 48 bytes and
reject any larger signaling packet with one L2CAP_COMMAND_REJECT_RSP
carrying L2CAP_REJ_MTU_EXCEEDED before any command is dispatched.
The Bluetooth Core spec wording for MTUExceeded says the reject
identifier shall match the first request command in the packet, and
that packets containing only responses shall be silently discarded.
Linux intentionally deviates from that prescription: silently
discarding desynchronizes the peer because the remote stack never
learns its responses were dropped, and locating the first request
command requires walking command headers past MTUsig, i.e. processing
bytes from a packet we have already decided is too large to process.
We therefore always emit one reject and use the identifier from the
first command header, a single fixed-offset byte read.
The unrestricted BR/EDR signaling parser and ECHO_REQ response path both
trace to the initial git import; no later introducing commit is
available for a Fixes tag.20dCVE-2026-530235.5 MED2.4%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs/ntfs3: terminate the cached volume label after UTF-8 conversion
ntfs_fill_super() loads the on-disk volume label with utf16s_to_utf8s()
and stores the result in sbi->volume.label. The converted label is later
exposed through ntfs3_label_show() using %s, but utf16s_to_utf8s() only
returns the number of bytes written and does not add a trailing NUL.
If the converted label fills the entire fixed buffer,
ntfs3_label_show() can read past the end of sbi->volume.label while
looking for a terminator.
Terminate the cached label explicitly after a successful conversion and
clamp the exact-full case to the last byte of the buffer.8dCVE-2025-0005—2.4%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nft_fib: fix stale stack leak via the OIFNAME register
For NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIFNAME the destination register is declared with
len = IFNAMSIZ (four 32-bit registers), but on the lookup-fail,
RTN_LOCAL and oif-mismatch paths nft_fib{4,6}_eval() only writes one
register via "*dest = 0". The remaining three registers are left as
whatever was on the stack in nft_do_chain()'s struct nft_regs, and a
downstream expression that loads the register span can leak that
uninitialised kernel stack to userspace.
The NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT existence check has the same shape: it is only
meaningful for NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF, yet it was accepted for any result type
while the eval stores a single byte via nft_reg_store8(), leaving the rest
of the declared span stale.
Fix both:
- replace the bare "*dest = 0" in the eval with nft_fib_store_result(),
which strscpy_pad()s the whole IFNAMSIZ for OIFNAME (and is already
used on the other early-return path), and
- restrict NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT to NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF and declare its
destination as a single u8, so the marked span matches the one byte
the eval writes.16dCVE-2026-410108.2 HIG2.4%
——1ReleaseJob#unpack builds job_dir = File.join(@release_dir, 'jobs', name) and job_tgz = File.join(@release_dir, 'jobs', "#{name}.tgz") where name returns @job_meta['name'], a value taken verbatim from the jobs: array of the attacker-supplied release.MF inside the uploaded tarball. These paths are then interpolated into a shell string: Bosh::Common::Exec.sh("tar -C #{job_dir} -xf #{job_tgz} 2>&1", :on_error => :return). Bosh::Common::Exec.sh executes via %x{#{command}} (bosh-common/lib/bosh/common/exec.rb:53), i.e. /bin/sh -c, so any shell metacharacters in name are interpreted. FileUtils.mkdir_p(job_dir) on line 49 creates the literal directory (no shell) and succeeds even when the name contains $()/;, so execution reaches the sh call.
Affected versions:
- BOSH Director: all versions prior to v282.1.12 (inclusive); fixed in v282.1.12 or later11hCVE-2026-531355.5 MED2.4%

drm/amd/display: Fix NULL deref and buffer over-read in SDP debugfs
[Why & How]
dp_sdp_message_debugfs_write() dereferences connector->base.state->crtc
without checking for NULL. A connector can be connected but not bound to
any CRTC (e.g. after hot-plug before the next atomic commit), causing a
kernel crash when writing to the sdp_message debugfs node.
The function also ignores the user-provided size argument and always
passes 36 bytes to copy_from_user(), reading past the user buffer when
size < 36.
Fix both issues by:
- Returning -ENODEV when connector->base.state or state->crtc is NULL
- Clamping write_size to min(size, sizeof(data))

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/v3d: Skip CSD when it has zeroed workgroups
A compute shader dispatch encodes its workgroup counts in the CFG0..CFG2
registers. Kicking off a dispatch with a zero count in any of the three
dimensions is invalid. First, the hardware will process 0 as 65536,
while the user-space driver exposes a maximum of 65535. Over that, a
submission with a zeroed workgroup dimension should be a no-op.
These zeroed counts can reach the dispatch path through an indirect CSD
job, whose workgroup counts are only known once the indirect buffer is
read and may legitimately be zero, but such scenario should only result in
a no-op.
Overwrite the indirect CSD job workgroup counts with the indirect BO
ones, even if they are zeroed, and don't submit the job to the hardware
when any of the workgroup counts is zero, so the job completes immediately
instead of running the shader.17dCVE-2026-5401—2.4%
