CVE-2026-932507.8 HIG

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: mdb: Fix use-after-free in vxlan_mdb_flush() vxlan_mdb_flush() iterates over the MDB entries using hlist_for_each_entry_safe(), which only tolerates the removal of the current entry. Contrary to the comment above the loop, the removal of an entry can trigger the removal of another entry. Flushing the remotes of a (*, G) entry also removes the (S, G) entries that were created for its source list, once they are left without remotes: vxlan_mdb_remotes_flush() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_del() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_del() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del() -> vxlan_mdb_remote_src_fwd_del() -> __vxlan_mdb_del() -> vxlan_mdb_entry_put() Such an entry can be located after the (*, G) entry in the list, as vxlan_mdb_entry_get() returns an existing entry without moving it to the head of the list. This order is obtained by adding the (S, G) entry before the (*, G) entry, the latter with NLM_F_REPLACE, as the addition of the source otherwise fails with -EEXIST. The (S, G) entry is then the entry saved by hlist_for_each_entry_safe() and it is freed while the (*, G) entry is processed. The next iteration calls hlist_del() on it again, writing LIST_POISON1 to LIST_POISON2 [1]. Besides device deletion, the flush is also reachable from RTM_DELMDB with NLM_F_BULK. Fix by re-reading the next entry after the remotes were flushed. The current entry cannot be removed by this flush, as source lists can only be configured on (*, G) entries and the removed entries are (S, G) entries. It is therefore still linked and its next pointer reflects the removals. ——0Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.7.0, the uploaded-files API endpoint GET /api/v1/{object_type}/{id}/files/{file_id} allows an authenticated user with file-management access to upload XML and XSLT attachments and request them with the inline=true parameter. The app/Http/Controllers/Api/UploadedFilesController.php show() path does not apply the safe-inline allowlist used by the equivalent web controller, so the browser can process an attacker-controlled xml-stylesheet reference and execute JavaScript generated by the stylesheet in the Snipe-IT origin. A victim who is authorized to view the object must open the attachment URL, after which the script can read same-origin data and perform authenticated actions with the victim's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 8.7.0.23h

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i3c: master: Fix device_register() error path When device_register() fails in i3c_master_register_new_i3c_devs(), put_device() is called to drop the reference taken by device_register(). That drops the last reference, so the device's release callback i3c_device_release() runs and frees the i3c_device. Two problems follow from that: i3c_device_release() does WARN_ON(i3cdev->desc), so it warns because desc->dev->desc still points back at the descriptor. Clear it before calling put_device(). After put_device() frees the i3c_device, desc->dev is left pointing at freed memory, so clear desc->dev as well. That prevents, for example, i3c_master_unregister_i3c_devs() seeing desc->dev as non-NULL and dereferencing it.1d

——0phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions prior to 4.2.0-alpha allows any unauthenticated user (or low-privileged registered user) to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in an administrator's browser when they review or edit a user-submitted FAQ entry. This leads to admin account takeover via session theft. The vulnerability exists because `html_entity_decode()` converts HTML entities into executable HTML after `strip_tags()` has already passed them through, and the admin template renders the content with Twig's `|raw` filter without any output sanitization. Version 4.2.0-alpha fixes the issue.1d

——0Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.7.0, a password-authenticated session for an account with self.api permission can reach the personal-access-token API flow before completing the account's second-factor challenge because CheckForTwoFactor is enforced in the web middleware group but not the API middleware group. The advisory states that the resulting persistent API token can read and modify resources with the victim's permissions and, for an administrator, can reach the users/two_factor_reset endpoint. Resetting the administrator's enrolled second factor allows the password-holding attacker to enroll an attacker-controlled factor, take over the administrator's web account, and lock out the legitimate user. The token does not create a web session, but it provides broad API access while the same browser session remains blocked at the two-factor page. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.7.0.23h

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/gud: validate TV mode names before creating enum property The GUD protocol returns TV mode names as fixed-size GUD_CONNECTOR_TV_MODE_NAME_LEN entries and requires each name to be NUL-terminated. gud_connector_add_tv_mode() currently passes each fixed-size entry directly to drm_mode_create_tv_properties_legacy(), which eventually reaches drm_property_add_enum() and strlen(). If a device returns an entry without a terminating NUL byte, strlen() reads past the end of the slot and can run beyond the allocated buffer, triggering an out-of-bounds read. Validate that each returned TV mode name contains a NUL terminator within its fixed-size slot before passing it to the DRM property code. If a malformed entry is found, reject the device response with -EIO. This fixes the out-of-bounds read without changing the handling of valid devices, and avoids silently truncating malformed protocol data.1d

——0Dokploy is a free, self-hostable Platform as a Service (PaaS). Prior to 0.29.13, the patch.readRepoDirectories tRPC procedure passes the user-controlled repoPath value from apps/dokploy/server/api/routers/patch.ts into a shell command in packages/server/src/services/patch-repo.ts without safe argument quoting. An authenticated organization member with service:read permission can inject shell metacharacters into repoPath and execute arbitrary commands through child_process.exec as root in the Dokploy container. The supplied service identifier is used only to resolve the server and does not constrain repoPath. Because the standard deployment mounts /var/run/docker.sock, container-root command execution can be used to control Docker and compromise the host and its managed applications. This issue is fixed in version 0.29.13.22h

——0IBM ContextForge MCP Gateway 1.0.0 through 1.0.8 was vulnerable to path traversal in its Admin API log-download endpoint (`GET /v1/admin/logs/file`). The path confinement check uses `str.startswith()` rather than proper boundary validation, allowing an authenticated admin to read `.log`, `.jsonl`, and `.json` files outside the configured `LOG_FOLDER` by supplying a filename that resolves into a sibling directory whose absolute path shares the log directory's string prefix.21h

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: amlogic-spisg: Make sure clk_init_data is fully initialized The clk_init_data structure contains several mutually-exclusive members for different methods to specify the possible parents of a clock, prompting drivers to initialize only the members they need. However, not initializing all members may cause subtle issues, which are only exposed when CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL_PATTERN or CONFIG_INIT_STACK_NONE is enabled. aml_spisg_clk_init() fills in init.parent_data, and assumes that init.parent_names is NULL. However, the latter in uninitialized, and thus may cause a crash. Make sure all members are fully initialized, to fix such bugs, and to avoid future breakage when converting drivers to a different method for specifying the parents.1d

——0Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.7.0, a user with the customfields.create permission can store markup in CustomField.name, and app/Presenters/AssetPresenter.php assigns that value as an unescaped bootstrap-table header title. When another user opens an asset-list page associated with the fieldset, the stored markup executes on page load in that user's Snipe-IT session. This can expose same-origin data and perform authenticated actions with the victim's privileges, including privilege escalation when a superuser views the affected list. This issue is fixed in version 8.7.0.22h

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: don't WARN on kernel job timeout when device already wedged igt@xe_wedged@wedged-at-any-timeout wedges the device in mode 2 (UPON_ANY_HANG_NO_RESET) and then rebinds the driver. During unbind, a GSC proxy kernel submission can still time out; with the device wedged and the GuC CT stopped it can never complete, so its kernel job times out. Tile0: GT1: Kernel-submitted job timed out WARNING: drivers/gpu/drm/xe/xe_guc_submit.c:... at guc_exec_queue_timedout_job() Workqueue: gt-ordered-wq drm_sched_job_timedout Killed queues skip guc_submit_hint_wedged(), leaving 'wedged' false even though the device is already wedged. The timeout handler then treats the kernel queue timeout as unexpected and taints the kernel. Honour an already-wedged device even for killed queues so the expected teardown timeout no longer trips the WARN. (cherry picked from commit a1c1dbd0f047bb05de6aaf6abe9103031179bf19)1d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: mgmt: fix 'hdev->discovery.uuids' NULL dereference 'uuid_count' member of struct 'discovery_state' is assigned and read without any locks, so there is a chance of situation when uuid_count != 0, but uuids is NULL and there will be NULL pointer dereference. Possible race: 'hci_update_passive_scan_sync' 'hci_discovery_filter_clear' hdev->discovery.uuid_count = 0; <----------------------preempted-----------------------------> 'start_service_discovery' // Set uuid_count to value != 0 hdev->discovery.uuid_count = uuid_count; hdev->discovery.uuids = kmemdup(...); <----------------------preempted-----------------------------> spin_lock(&hdev->discovery.lock); kfree(hdev->discovery.uuids); hdev->discovery.uuids = NULL; spin_unlock(&hdev->discovery.lock); Now uuids == NULL and uuid_count != 0. So 'mgmt_device_found' -> 'is_filter_match' -> 'eir_has_uuids' receives non consistent discovery state, where NULL dereference of uuids happens. To fix it let's add discovery.lock around every read/write of uuid_count, uuids pair of struct members. It is also important to assign uuid_count value only after success kmemdup() allocation in start_service_discovery(), otherwise uuids is NULL, because kmemdup failed, but uuid_count is already assigned to non zero value. The following panic happens: [ ] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ ] Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000000 [ ] Internal error: Oops: 0000000096000006 [#1] PREEMPT SMP [ ] CPU: 0 PID: 15056 Comm: kworker/u9:2 [ ] Workqueue: hci0 hci_rx_work [ ] pstate: 10400009 (nzcV daif +PAN -UAO -TCO -DIT -SSBS BTYPE=--) [ ] pc : eir_has_uuids+0x2d8/0x590 [ ] lr : is_filter_match+0x258/0x320 ... ——0`@bsv/wallet-toolbox` provides BRC-100 wallet signing and storage components, while `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-client` and `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-mobile` provide client-focused distributions for standard and mobile applications using wallet storage services. A vulnerability in these packages causes transactions created through a remote `StorageClient` to trust output locking scripts returned by the storage provider without verifying that they match the outputs requested by the caller. A malicious or compromised storage provider can substitute a recipient script or inject an additional output, causing the wallet to sign and broadcast a transaction that redirects funds while the application and user interface continue to display the intended recipient. Source and npm publication history indicate that stable versions `@bsv/wallet-toolbox` and `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-client` from 1.1.47 through 2.3.3, and `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-mobile` from its initial 1.3.21 release through 2.3.3, are affected. All three packages are patched in version 2.4.0. Applications unable to upgrade should avoid remote `StorageClient` providers, use local storage, or independently verify every transaction output’s locking script and value against the original request before signing23h

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-af: fix out-of-bounds read setting MSI-X irq affinity rvu_register_interrupts() walks every MSI-X vector and uses strstr() to match "Mbox" or "FLR" in irq_name before pinning those interrupts to CPU 0. irq_name is a per-vector NAME_SIZE buffer, but not every slot is populated before this loop runs. strstr() keeps scanning until it finds a NUL terminator, so an uninitialized slot can trigger a KASAN slab-out-of-bounds read at boot when debug options are enabled. Use strnstr() with NAME_SIZE to bound the search within each vector's name buffer.1d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/secretmem: properly account locked pages secretmem accounts folios by treating memory as if it were mlock()'d and thus limited by the RLIMIT_MEMLOCK limit. However the folios are unevictable and remain so until the inode is evicted, eliminating usual mlock() semantics - mapping folios then unmapping them does not clear their unevictable state, since it depends on AS_UNEVICTABLE, not PG_mlocked. A user can therefore easily work around the RLIMIT_MEMLOCK limit - simply map then unmap and VmLck no longer counts the secretmem range. Worse, folios are not accounted in the process's RSS, meaning the OOM killer won't know to kill the process. Repeatedly mapping/unmapping (or forking) can then result in the consumption of all available system memory with unevictable folios and cause system instability. A secretmem fd can be passed between processes and over fork so a per-process limit simply does not make sense, so follow the precedent set by io_uring, perf, skbuff, iommufd and xdp by tracking the number of locked pages in user_struct->locked_vm. Since the scope tracked is actually inode lifetime, the RLIMIT_MEMLOCK applies per-user not per-process, so it doesn't make sense to bypass for users with CAP_IPC_LOCK, therefore remove this bypass. There is simply no reason to carry on marking the mapping as mlock()'d since it's misleading and the lifecycle is now correctly handled, so remove this too. Note that secretmem does not support any form of truncation (including hole punching) and the folios are unreclaimable, so the folios need only be accounted on fault and unaccounted on inode destruction. __secretmem_account_pages() is more or less a duplicate of the code that io_uring etc. use, but since this is a bug fix that needs backporting, defer any de-duplication efforts to a follow-up. test_mlock_limit() asserts mlock_future_ok() on mmap(), however this has been removed, so remove the test altogether for the fix. A new test will be sent separately for upstream.1d

——0phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. The `StopWords::add()` method inversions prior to 4.1.6 builds a SQL `INSERT` statement using `sprintf()` and inserts the user-supplied stop word value directly into the query string without calling the application's database escaping function on it. A sibling method, `StopWords::update()`, which modifies an existing stop word, correctly escapes the same kind of input. The omission is isolated to the `add()` (insert) code path. An authenticated administrator who can reach the stop-word management feature can submit a crafted value as the "word" parameter that breaks out of the SQL string literal and injects arbitrary SQL, including statements to drop tables, exfiltrate data, or modify other rows in the database. Version 4.1.6 fixes the issue.23h

When extending file size (e.g. via truncate, fallocate, or write) across an unaligned EOF boundary, we need to ensure that post-EOF data in the partial page is zeroed out in pagecache and marked dirty, then writeback the cache to persist zeroed data before committing inode w/ updated i_size. This help to prevent stale disk data beyond the previous EOF from being exposed after remounting or crash recovery. Since f2fs is a LFS filesystem, we only support direct write via PBA in pinfile, and pinfile has section-aligned filesize, so in Android, there should no problem, but for other usage in different environment, let's fix this w/ fsync_mode=strict mount option.1d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: meson: vdec: fix NULL pointer deref in vdec_try_fmt_common When VIDIOC_TRY_FMT is called with an unsupported pixel format on the OUTPUT queue, vdec_try_fmt_common() falls back to V4L2_PIX_FMT_MPEG2. However, if a distro has locally patched MPEG2 support out (as it has been broken for some time) the platform format table does not contain MPEG2 so find_format() returns NULL and the subsequent dereference of fmt_out->max_width triggers a NULL pointer dereference. Fix this by falling back to the first format in the platform's format array instead of hardcoding V4L2_PIX_FMT_MPEG2. This is always valid since every platform defines at least one format.1d

——0An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the MPack Node API in MPack 1.1.1 on 32-bit platforms. When parsing a specially crafted MessagePack array32 or map32 object with an excessively large element count, the page allocation size calculation in mpack_tree_parse_children() can overflow size_t and produce an undersized allocation. Subsequent parsing writes mpack_node_data_t records beyond the allocated heap buffer, resulting in heap-buffer-overflow, memory corruption, and denial of service.20h
