CVE-2025-711307.8 HIG
4.3%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/gem: Zero-initialize the eb.vma array in i915_gem_do_execbuffer Initialize the eb.vma array with values of 0 when the eb structure is first set up. In particular, this sets the eb->vma[i].vma pointers to NULL, simplifying cleanup and getting rid of the bug described below. During the execution of eb_lookup_vmas(), the eb->vma array is successively filled up with struct eb_vma objects. This process includes calling eb_add_vma(), which might fail; however, even in the event of failure, eb->vma[i].vma is set for the currently processed buffer. If eb_add_vma() fails, eb_lookup_vmas() returns with an error, which prompts a call to eb_release_vmas() to clean up the mess. Since eb_lookup_vmas() might fail during processing any (possibly not first) buffer, eb_release_vmas() checks whether a buffer's vma is NULL to know at what point did the lookup function fail. In eb_lookup_vmas(), eb->vma[i].vma is set to NULL if either the helper function eb_lookup_vma() or eb_validate_vma() fails. eb->vma[i+1].vma is set to NULL in case i915_gem_object_userptr_submit_init() fails; the current one needs to be cleaned up by eb_release_vmas() at this point, so the next one is set. If eb_add_vma() fails, neither the current nor the next vma is set to NULL, which is a source of a NULL deref bug described in the issue linked in the Closes tag. When entering eb_lookup_vmas(), the vma pointers are set to the slab poison value, instead of NULL. This doesn't matter for the actual lookup, since it gets overwritten anyway, however the eb_release_vmas() function only recognizes NULL as the stopping value, hence the pointers are being set to NULL as they go in case of intermediate failure. This patch changes the approach to filling them all with NULL at the start instead, rather than handling that manually during failure. ——1Sandboxie-Plus is an open source sandbox-based isolation software for Windows. Prior to 1.17.6, GuiServer::WndHookRegisterSlave in Sandboxie/core/svc/GuiServer.cpp stores attacker-supplied hthread and hproc fields from a GUI_WND_HOOK_REGISTER request without validating that the thread belongs to the sandboxed process or that the function pointer is in the caller address space, and GuiServer::WndHookNotifySlave then calls OpenThread(THREAD_SET_CONTEXT, FALSE, whk->hthread) and QueueUserAPC((PAPCFUNC)whk->hproc, hThread, (ULONG_PTR)req->threadid) as SYSTEM, allowing a sandboxed process to execute arbitrary code in an unsandboxed host process. This issue is fixed in version 1.17.6.7d

——1A maliciously crafted input, when processed by the Autodesk Installer IPC frame parser, may trigger improper validation of an input-specified position or offset, resulting in an out-of-range substring operation. A malicious actor may leverage this vulnerability to cause the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM service to terminate unexpectedly, resulting in a denial-of-service condition.8d

——1A Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability affects Acer NitroSense software versions prior to 3.01.3052. The vulnerability stems from the the PSAdminAgent service, which creates a Named Pipe with a weak Access Control List (ACL). This allows any authenticated local user to connect and send commands. Because the service does not check the caller's privileges before running file deletion commands, a low-privileged local user can exploit this to delete arbitrary files with system authority.5d

——1ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to version 5.0.10, each table in the on-disk SQLite policy store (`/Library/Application Support/clearancekit/store.db`) is verified using an ECDSA signature stored in the `data_signatures` table. The signed payload contains only the canonical row content, with no version counter or freshness binding. An attacker who can write `store.db` and the matching `data_signatures` row — feasible during the opfilter-update window when the Endpoint Security filter is offline, or via offline-boot / decrypted-backup scenarios — can substitute a previously-captured legitimately-signed snapshot. opfilter accepts the older snapshot as fully valid on next boot because the existing signatures still verify. Version 5.0.10 patches the issue.7d

——1The Bold Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the `title` attribute of the `bt_bb_service` shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 5.7.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.31d

——1Insecure generation of credentials in the local SAT (Technical Support) access functionality of the Ingecon Sun EMS Board. The vulnerability arose because the secret access credentials were not based on a secure cryptographic scheme, but rather on a weak hashing algorithm, which could allow an attacker to carry out a privilege escalation.5d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: don't propagate EXTENT_FLAG_LOGGING to split extent maps When btrfs_drop_extent_map_range() splits an extent map, the new split maps inherit the original map's flags through a local 'flags' variable. Commit f86f7a75e2fb ("btrfs: use the flags of an extent map to identify the compression type") changed the EXTENT_FLAG_LOGGING clearing to operate on em->flags instead of that local 'flags' copy, so a split of an extent map that is currently being logged wrongly inherits EXTENT_FLAG_LOGGING. The flag is then never cleared on the split, and when it is freed while still on the inode's modified_extents list (for example by the extent map shrinker) it trips the WARN_ON(!list_empty(&em->list)) in btrfs_free_extent_map() and leads to a use-after-free. Clear EXTENT_FLAG_LOGGING from the local 'flags' copy used for the splits and only clear EXTENT_FLAG_PINNED from em->flags, restoring the behaviour prior to f86f7a75e2fb.12d
