CVE-2026-82425—3.9%
——1A reachable assertion in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows a malicious remote peer to crash the process, resulting in denial of service.
Root Cause:
When a Socket with health checking enabled fails, Socket::WaitAndReset closes its file descriptor while the event dispatcher may still be delivering an input event (EPOLLIN/EVFILT_READ) that was fetched for the just-closed fd. If the health check then succeeds and revives the Socket, Socket::Address succeeds again while the fd is still -1 (the next write reconnects on demand). In that window, Socket::OnInputEvent hits CHECK(!(events & EPOLLIN)) (or the kqueue equivalent) because the Socket is addressable but has no fd. CHECK failures terminate the process when bRPC is built with glog or when the gflag -crash_on_fatal_log is enabled (CHECK always terminates in OFFICIAL_BUILD/NDEBUG builds as well).
Affected Scenarios:
Applications using bRPC clients with health check enabled (-health_check_interval). A malicious remote peer that the client connects to can deliberately abort connections and immediately accept the health check probes, racing connection teardown against health check revival to trigger the assertion and abort the process.
How to Fix:
(Choose one of the following options)
1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue.
2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3510
Note:
After applying the fix, stale input events on a Socket revived without an fd are silently dropped instead of triggering the assertion. No user-visible interface or wire protocol is changed.3dCVE-2026-45055—3.9%

——1webpack-dev-server is a development server that provides live reloading for webpack projects. In versions before 5.2.7 and in version 6.0.0, when a proxy entry is configured to forward WebSockets, the server forwards non-HMR WebSocket upgrade requests to the proxy target without validating the Host or Origin headers, so the allowedHosts protection does not apply to those proxied upgrades. A malicious web page visited by a developer can open a cross-origin WebSocket through the dev server and read from and write to the proxied backend, even when the server is bound to loopback. The issue is fixed in webpack-dev-server 5.2.7 and 6.1.0, where proxied WebSocket upgrades pass the same Host and Origin validation as the HMR WebSocket, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, omit WebSocket forwarding from proxy entries that do not need it and scope the proxy to specific paths.6hCVE-2026-272737.8 HIG3.9%

iommu/s390: Fix memory corruption when using identity domain
zpci_get_iommu_ctrs() returns counter information to be reported as part
of device statistics; these counters are stored as part of the s390_domain.
The problem, however, is that the identity domain is not backed by an
s390_domain and so the conversion via to_s390_domain() yields a bad address
that is zero'd initially and read on-demand later via a sysfs read.
These counters aren't necessary for the identity domain; just return NULL
in this case.
This issue was discovered via KASAN with reports that look like:

usb: typec: ucsi: Handle incorrect num_connectors capability
The UCSI spec states that the num_connectors field is 7 bits, and the
8th bit is reserved and should be set to zero.
Some buggy FW has been known to set this bit, and it can lead to a
system not booting.
Flag that the FW is not behaving correctly, and auto-fix the value
so that the system boots correctly.
Found on Lenovo P1 G8 during Linux enablement program. The FW will
be fixed, but seemed worth addressing in case it hit platforms that
aren't officially Linux supported.10dCVE-2024-579217.8 HIG3.9%

——1FLTK through 1.4.5 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in Fl_BMP_Image::load_bmp_() that causes undersized pixel buffer allocation from file-supplied width and height. Attackers can supply a crafted BMP or ICO file with large dimensions so row decoding writes file-derived data past the heap buffer, corrupting the application heap.2dCVE-2026-230845.5 MED3.9%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
be2net: Fix NULL pointer dereference in be_cmd_get_mac_from_list
When the parameter pmac_id_valid argument of be_cmd_get_mac_from_list() is
set to false, the driver may request the PMAC_ID from the firmware of the
network card, and this function will store that PMAC_ID at the provided
address pmac_id. This is the contract of this function.
However, there is a location within the driver where both
pmac_id_valid == false and pmac_id == NULL are being passed. This could
result in dereferencing a NULL pointer.
To resolve this issue, it is necessary to pass the address of a stub
variable to the function.10dCVE-2024-53086—3.9%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksm: use range-walk function to jump over holes in scan_get_next_rmap_item
Currently, scan_get_next_rmap_item() walks every page address in a VMA to
locate mergeable pages. This becomes highly inefficient when scanning
large virtual memory areas that contain mostly unmapped regions, causing
ksmd to use large amount of cpu without deduplicating much pages.
This patch replaces the per-address lookup with a range walk using
walk_page_range(). The range walker allows KSM to skip over entire
unmapped holes in a VMA, avoiding unnecessary lookups. This problem was
previously discussed in [1].
Consider the following test program which creates a 32 TiB mapping in the
virtual address space but only populates a single page:
#include <unistd.h>
#include <stdio.h>
#include <sys/mman.h>
/* 32 TiB */
const size_t size = 32ul * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024;
int main() {
char *area = mmap(NULL, size, PROT_READ | PROT_WRITE,
MAP_NORESERVE | MAP_PRIVATE | MAP_ANON, -1, 0);
if (area == MAP_FAILED) {
perror("mmap() failed\n");
return -1;
}
/* Populate a single page such that we get an anon_vma. */
*area = 0;
/* Enable KSM. */
madvise(area, size, MADV_MERGEABLE);
pause();
return 0;
}
$ ./ksm-sparse &
$ echo 1 > /sys/kernel/mm/ksm/run
Without this patch ksmd uses 100% of the cpu for a long time (more then 1
hour in my test machine) scanning all the 32 TiB virtual address space
that contain only one mapped page. This makes ksmd essentially deadlocked
not able to deduplicate anything of value. With this patch ksmd walks
only the one mapped page and skips the rest of the 32 TiB virtual address
space, making the scan fast using little cpu.15dCVE-2025-45083—3.9%
