——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: soc-core: flush delayed work before removing DAIs and widgets When a sound card is unbound while a PCM stream is open, a use-after-free can occur in snd_soc_dapm_stream_event(), called from the close_delayed_work workqueue handler. During unbind, snd_soc_unbind_card() flushes delayed work and then calls soc_cleanup_card_resources(). Inside cleanup, snd_card_disconnect_sync() releases all PCM file descriptors, and the resulting PCM close path can call snd_soc_dapm_stream_stop() which schedules new delayed work with a pmdown_time timer delay. Since this happens after the flush in snd_soc_unbind_card(), the new work is not caught. soc_remove_link_components() then frees DAPM widgets before this work fires, leading to the use-after-free. The existing flush in soc_free_pcm_runtime() also cannot help as it runs after soc_remove_link_components() has already freed the widgets. Add a flush in soc_cleanup_card_resources() after snd_card_disconnect_sync() (after which no new PCM closes can schedule further delayed work) and before soc_remove_link_dais() and soc_remove_link_components() (which tear down the structures the delayed work accesses).10d

CVE-2026-642987.1 HIG

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4: include MAY_WRITE in open permission mask for O_TRUNC POSIX requires write permission to truncate a file, so an open() that specifies O_TRUNC must be authorized for write access regardless of the O_ACCMODE access mode. nfs_open_permission_mask() builds the access mask passed to nfs_may_open(), which is the local authorization gate for OPENs the client serves itself from a cached write delegation via the can_open_delegated() path in nfs4_try_open_cached(). The mask is derived from O_ACCMODE alone, so an open(O_RDONLY | O_TRUNC) against a file the caller cannot write requests only MAY_READ and passes the local check. The OPEN is then satisfied locally and the truncation is issued to the server as a SETATTR(size=0) over the delegation stateid, which the server accepts under standard write-delegation semantics. POSIX requires that this open fail with EACCES. Include MAY_WRITE in the mask whenever O_TRUNC is set so the local check matches the access the server would have enforced.10d

——1Vulnerability in the Oracle Solaris product of Oracle Systems (component: Filesystem). The supported version that is affected is 11. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Solaris executes to compromise Oracle Solaris. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle Solaris, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Solaris. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.5 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H).21d

——1NLnet Labs ldns 1.2.0 up to and including versions 1.9.0, when used in applications as (stub) resolver over UDP, lacks matching the query destination address and port with the response source address and port. Furthermore not the query ID, neither the question of the query is matched with that of the response. This makes applications, that use ldns for (stub) resolver functionality over UDP, vulnerable for off-path poisoning attacks. The drill tool, which is shipped with ldns, suffers from this vulnerability.98d

——1pam_usb provides hardware authentication for Linux using ordinary removable media. In versions 0.9.1 and below, the xfree() memory release helper in calls free() without first zeroing the buffer contents, releasing heap-allocated buffers containing sensitive data — including one-time pad bytes read from disk — without clearing, leaving the sensitive content in freed heap memory until it happens to be overwritten by a subsequent allocation. On a system where a use-after-free condition exists, or where a heap inspection primitive becomes available, this could allow recovery of pad values or other authentication material from freed memory regions. This is a defence-in-depth requirement consistent with prior hardening work in this codebase (GHSA-vx6f-rrqr-j87c applied explicit_bzero to some pad paths; this issue generalises the pattern to the central deallocation helper).3d

——1froxlor through 2.3.10 disables a user's two-factor authentication immediately upon an unauthenticated-triggerable GET request to the 2FA management page (e.g. /customer_index.php?page=2fa&action=delete), with no confirmation, re-authentication, or CSRF token. The global CSRF middleware only covers POST/PUT/PATCH/DELETE requests, and the session cookie is set to SameSite=Lax, so a cross-site top-level navigation (link click or redirect) carries the victim's session and silently clears type_2fa/data_2fa. Both the customer and admin 2FA handlers are affected. An attacker who lures a logged-in panel user into following a crafted link reduces that account to password-only authentication, which can be chained with a compromised password for account takeover. Fixed in 2.3.12.31d

While the vulnerability is in Siebel CRM Cloud Applications, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Siebel CRM Cloud Applications accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Siebel CRM Cloud Applications accessible data. ——1A Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition exists in the mkfifo utility of uutils coreutils. The utility creates a FIFO and then performs a path-based chmod to set permissions. A local attacker with write access to the parent directory can swap the newly created FIFO for a symbolic link between these two operations. This redirects the chmod call to an arbitrary file, potentially enabling privilege escalation if the utility is run with elevated privileges.3d
