——1A flaw was found in FreeIPA. An improper authorization check allows an authenticated host to retrieve and revoke digital certificates assigned to other users or services. This issue occurs because FreeIPA verifies ownership solely by matching the host name to the certificate's subject Common Name (CN), without confirming actual ownership in the directory service. Consequently, an enrolled host can disrupt services by revoking certificates belonging to other entities.3d

——1Pi-hole Admin Interface is a web interface for managing Pi-hole, a network-level ad and internet tracker blocking application. From 6.0 to before 6.5, client hostnames and IP addresses from the FTL database are rendered into the DOM without escaping in network.js (Network page) and charts.js/index.js (Dashboard chart tooltips). While upstream validation in dnsmasq and FTL blocks HTML characters via normal DHCP/DNS paths, the web UI performs no output escaping — an inconsistency with other fields in the same file that are properly escaped. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.5.3d

——1A vulnerability was determined in Tenda AC9 15.03.05.19. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /etc_ro/shadow of the component Administrative Interface. This manipulation causes hard-coded credentials. It is possible to launch the attack on the local host. The attack's complexity is rated as high. The exploitability is regarded as difficult. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized.11d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/a6xx: Fix kvzalloc vs state_kcalloc usage adreno_show_object() is a trap! It will re-allocate the pointer it is passed on first call, when the data is ascii85 encoded, using kvmalloc/ kvfree(). Which means the data *passed* to it must be kvmalloc'd, ie. we cannot use the state_kcalloc() helper. This partially reverts commit ec8f1813bf8d ("drm/msm/a6xx: Replace kcalloc() with kvzalloc()"), but adds the missing kvfree() to fix the memory leak that was present previously. And adds a warning comment. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/507014/86d

——1Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to 3.7.13, when Joplin Desktop is running with the opt-in Web Clipper server enabled, the server in packages/lib/ClipperServer.ts sends Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * and allows an arbitrary website to call POST /auth and GET /auth/check because the pairing endpoints do not reject HTTP or HTTPS origins. The desktop confirmation dialog does not identify the requesting origin, so a victim who approves the generic prompt authorizes the attacking page, which then receives the permanent API token. The token provides ongoing read and write access to notes, folders, tags, resources, and master keys. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.13.23d

——1In a hardened Docker environment, with Enhanced Container Isolation ( ECI https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/ ) enabled, an administrator can utilize the command restrictions feature https://docs.docker.com/enterprise/security/hardened-desktop/enhanced-container-isolation/config/#command-restrictions  to restrict commands that a container with a Docker socket mount may issue on that socket. Due to a software bug, the configuration to restrict commands was ignored when passed to ECI, allowing any command to be executed on the socket. This grants excessive privileges by permitting unrestricted access to powerful Docker commands. The vulnerability affects only Docker Desktop 4.46.0 users that have ECI enabled and are using the Docker socket command restrictions feature. In addition, since ECI restricts mounting the Docker socket into containers by default, it only affects containers which are explicitly allowed by the administrator to mount the Docker socket.20d

——1The jQuery Hover Footnotes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.4. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the jqFootnotes_options_subpanel function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the plugin's settings with arbitrary values that, because option values such as jqfoot_anchor_open, jqfoot_anchor_close, and jqfoot_title are echoed unescaped into frontend page content, can be chained into persistent Cross-Site Scripting affecting all site visitors via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Successful exploitation of the CSRF vulnerability can be chained into stored Cross-Site Scripting, as the overwritten option values are persisted via update_option() without sanitization and rendered unescaped on the frontend.98d

——1LibreSSL ocspcheck through 4.4.0 contains a CRLF injection vulnerability that allows attackers to inject HTTP headers by embedding CR/LF sequences in a certificate's AIA OCSP URI path. Because url2host() copies the path without rejecting control characters and http_open() places it in the POST request line, attackers can inject headers or split OCSP requests sent to the responder host.19h

——1FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to 1.8.220, the email processing pipeline in FreeScout's FetchEmails command has two code paths for identifying agent (user) replies based on In-Reply-To / References headers. The notification reply path (notify-{thread_id}-{user_id}-...) extracts thread_id and user_id directly from the Message-ID without HMAC verification. An external attacker who can spoof the From address of a helpdesk agent can inject messages that FreeScout processes as legitimate agent replies — which are then automatically forwarded to customers via the legitimate SMTP server. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.220.99d

——1A security vulnerability has been detected in jarun nnn up to 5.1. The impacted element is the function show_content_in_floating_window/run_cmd_as_plugin of the file nnn/src/nnn.c. The manipulation leads to double free. An attack has to be approached locally. The identifier of the patch is 2f07ccdf21e705377862e5f9dfa31e1694979ac7. It is suggested to install a patch to address this issue.21d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio-pci: Fix result size returned for the admin command completion The result size returned by virtio_pci_admin_dev_parts_get() is 8 bytes larger than the actual result data size. This occurs because the result_sg_size field of the command is filled with the result length from virtqueue_get_buf(), which includes both the data size and an additional 8 bytes of status. This oversized result size causes two issues: 1. The state transferred to the destination includes 8 bytes of extra data at the end. 2. The allocated buffer in the kernel may be smaller than the returned size, leading to failures when reading beyond the allocated size. The commit fixes this by subtracting the status size from the result of virtqueue_get_buf(). This fix has been tested through live migrations with virtio-net, virtio-net-transitional, and virtio-blk devices.91d

——1joserfc is a Python library that provides an implementation of several JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) standards. in versions 1.7.1 and prior, joserfc accepts JWTs with trailing padding (==) which are not conforming to the JOSE specifications. This leads to malleability of the JWTs when consumed by joserfc. Depending on this application this might or not be an issue. This could lead to bypass of token revocation or anti-replay protection when implemented as a deny list of tokens or a deny list of token hashes. Note that ECDSA JWS are always malleable because of the malleability of ECDSA signatures (first test case in the code bellow). This makes a scheme which assumes that JWTs are not malleable brittle. However for other signatures (or MAC) schemes it might make sense to assume non malleability of the token. This issue has been fixed in version 1.7.2.5d
