——1——CVE-2026-106776.5 MED3.6%
——1The CONFIG_USERSPACE syscall verifier z_vrfy_k_poll() in kernel/poll.c allocates a kernel-side copy of the user-supplied k_poll_event[] via z_thread_malloc() and then validates each event's object handle. Before this fix, validation used K_OOPS(K_SYSCALL_OBJ(...)) inline inside the loop, which kills the calling thread without freeing events_copy.
A user thread can pass num_events >= 1 with a forged object handle to leak the allocation; because newly spawned user threads inherit the parent's resource_pool (kernel/thread.c), an attacker spawns sacrificial threads to repeat the leak until the shared kernel heap is exhausted. Once depleted, legitimate kernel allocations from that pool (k_queue alloc nodes, k_msgq buffers, future k_poll calls, etc.) fail, causing a system-level denial of service.
The fix replaces each inline K_OOPS with a conditional goto oops_free so the buffer is freed before the thread is killed. Affects Zephyr releases from v1.12.0 (when k_poll was first exposed to user mode) through v4.4.1.5dCVE-2026-863618.2 HIG3.6%
——1Dell System Update, versions prior to 2.3.0.0, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.15dCVE-2022-26092—3.6%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/mm: Fix SMP ordering in switch_mm_irqs_off()
Stephen noted that it is possible to not have an smp_mb() between
the loaded_mm store and the tlb_gen load in switch_mm(), meaning the
ordering against flush_tlb_mm_range() goes out the window, and it
becomes possible for switch_mm() to not observe a recent tlb_gen
update and fail to flush the TLBs.

——1Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.0, when LDAP TLS is enabled (LDAP_USE_TLS = True), Lemur's LDAP authentication module unconditionally disables TLS certificate verification at the global ldap module level. This allows a man-in-the-middle attacker positioned between Lemur and the LDAP server to intercept all authentication credentials. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.9.0.3dCVE-2026-398555.5 MED3.6%
——1osslsigncode is a tool that implements Authenticode signing and timestamping. Prior to 2.13, an integer underflow vulnerability exists in osslsigncode version 2.12 and earlier in the PE page-hash computation code (pe_page_hash_calc()). When page hash processing is performed on a PE file, the function subtracts hdrsize from pagesize without first validating that pagesize >= hdrsize. If a malicious PE file sets SizeOfHeaders (hdrsize) larger than SectionAlignment (pagesize), the subtraction underflows and produces a very large unsigned length. The code allocates a zero-filled buffer of pagesize bytes and then attempts to hash pagesize - hdrsize bytes from that buffer. After the underflow, this results in an out-of-bounds read from the heap and can crash the process. The vulnerability can be triggered while signing a malicious PE file with page hashing enabled (-ph), or while verifying a malicious signed PE file that already contains page hashes. Verification of an already signed file does not require the verifier to pass -ph. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.3dCVE-2026-106745.5 MED3.6%
——1The NXP LPUART serial driver (drivers/serial/uart_mcux_lpuart.c), when CONFIG_UART_USE_RUNTIME_CONFIGURE is enabled, called LPUART_Deinit() at the start of mcux_lpuart_configure(), which disables the LPUART peripheral clocks. The requested configuration is validated only afterwards (in mcux_lpuart_configure_basic), and unsupported parity/data-bit/stop-bit/flow-control values return -ENOTSUP before the clock is re-enabled.
As a result, a uart_configure() request with an unsupported configuration left the LPUART in a clock-disabled state; any subsequent access to LPUART registers (poll_out/poll_in, interrupt handling, or a later reconfigure) faults on the gated peripheral and escalates to a hard fault, crashing the system.
uart_configure() is a Zephyr syscall whose verifier (z_vrfy_uart_configure) only checks that cfg is readable user memory and forwards the caller-supplied configuration unchanged, so an unprivileged userspace thread with access to an LPUART device can deterministically trigger the fault, a persistent system-wide denial of service.
Introduced in v2.5.0 and present in all subsequent releases until this fix, which removes the LPUART_Deinit() call and instead only disables the transmitter/receiver, leaving the clock running.5dCVE-2024-3479—3.6%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RISC-V: KVM: Synchronize hrtimer callback during teardown
The non-Sstc hrtimer callback clears next_set before its final uses of
the enclosing vCPU. If teardown observes next_set as false while the
callback is still running, kvm_riscv_vcpu_timer_cancel() skips
hrtimer_cancel() and kvm_destroy_vcpus() can free the vCPU before the
callback enters kvm_riscv_vcpu_set_interrupt().
A guest can arm the timer with SBI TIME and request shutdown with SBI
legacy shutdown or SRST. A VMM that honors KVM_EXIT_SYSTEM_EVENT and
destroys the VM supplies the teardown side of the race; no post-launch
host ioctl is needed to arm or request teardown.
On upstream master 62cc90241548, generic KASAN reported:
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in do_raw_spin_lock
Write of size 4 at addr ff60000005e58898
kvm_riscv_vcpu_set_interrupt
kvm_riscv_vcpu_hrtimer_expired
__hrtimer_run_queues
hrtimer_interrupt
The object was allocated by KVM_CREATE_VCPU and freed concurrently by:
kvm_destroy_vcpus
kvm_arch_destroy_vm
kvm_destroy_vm
__fput
For deterministic validation, I added mdelay(1000) immediately after
the existing next_set = false assignment. This only widens the
existing post-clear callback window. A no-delay trace build naturally
reached the callback-after-teardown-start/before-deinit ordering in 12
of 200 runs, but 1,500 stock-kernel stress iterations did not produce a
KASAN report, so natural reproduction is timing-sensitive.
Always invoke hrtimer_cancel() for an initialized timer. Preserve the
existing -EINVAL result when the timer is no longer set, but only after
synchronizing with a running callback.
With this patch, hrtimer_cancel() blocked for the full widened callback
window before vCPU destruction. KASAN reported no error in 100
fixed-and-widened runs or 200 fix-only timing-sweep runs.5dCVE-2021-35085—3.6%

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/secretmem: fix use-after-free race in fault handler
When a page fault occurs in a secret memory file created with
`memfd_secret(2)`, the kernel will allocate a new folio for it, mark the
underlying page as not-present in the direct map, and add it to the file
mapping.
If two tasks cause a fault in the same page concurrently, both could end
up allocating a folio and removing the page from the direct map, but only
one would succeed in adding the folio to the file mapping. The task that
failed undoes the effects of its attempt by (a) freeing the folio again
and (b) putting the page back into the direct map. However, by doing
these two operations in this order, the page becomes available to the
allocator again before it is placed back in the direct mapping.
If another task attempts to allocate the page between (a) and (b), and the
kernel tries to access it via the direct map, it would result in a
supervisor not-present page fault.
Fix the ordering to restore the direct map before the folio is freed.14dCVE-2026-398565.5 MED3.6%
——1osslsigncode is a tool that implements Authenticode signing and timestamping. Prior to 2.13, an out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in osslsigncode version 2.12 and earlier in the PE page-hash computation code (pe_page_hash_calc()). When processing PE sections for page hashing, the function uses PointerToRawData and SizeOfRawData values from section headers without validating that the referenced region lies within the mapped file. An attacker can craft a PE file with section headers that point beyond the end of the file. When osslsigncode computes page hashes for such a file, it may attempt to hash data from an invalid memory region, causing an out-of-bounds read and potentially crashing the process. The vulnerability can be triggered while signing a malicious PE file with page hashing enabled (-ph), or while verifying a malicious signed PE file that already contains page hashes. Verification of an already signed file does not require the verifier to pass -ph. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.13.3dCVE-2026-314477.8 HIG3.6%

ext4: reject mount if bigalloc with s_first_data_block != 0

——1ast-cli downloads two helper binaries, the Vorpal ASCA real-time engine and the SCA Resolver, from "download.checkmarx.com" as part of its auto-update flow, triggered by the Checkmarx’s "VSCode/JetBrains" extensions and by cx scan "sca-realtime".
Prior to the fix, the downloaded archive was not verified against a checksum before extraction and execution. An attacker able to substitute the served archive could deliver an arbitrary binary that ast-cli would extract and execute the contents of the archive, since no integrity check was performed on the download.
Successful exploitation requires compromising "download.checkmarx.com" and replacing the served archive with one containing an attacker-controlled binary. If the served archive had been replaced that way, any developer machine or CI pipeline invoking ASCA (via Checkmarx's VSCode/JetBrains extensions) or cx scan "sca-realtime" on an affected version would have extracted and executed that binary in place of the intended download.
The download is now verified against a published SHA-256 checksum before extraction.6dCVE-2026-437855.5 MED3.6%
