——1Vulnerability in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools product of Oracle JD Edwards (component: Installation Security). Supported versions that are affected are 9.2.0.0-9.2.26.2. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools executes to compromise JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools. While the vulnerability is in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.3 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xdp: produce a warning when calculated tailroom is negative Many ethernet drivers report xdp Rx queue frag size as being the same as DMA write size. However, the only user of this field, namely bpf_xdp_frags_increase_tail(), clearly expects a truesize. Such difference leads to unspecific memory corruption issues under certain circumstances, e.g. in ixgbevf maximum DMA write size is 3 KB, so when running xskxceiver's XDP_ADJUST_TAIL_GROW_MULTI_BUFF, 6K packet fully uses all DMA-writable space in 2 buffers. This would be fine, if only rxq->frag_size was properly set to 4K, but value of 3K results in a negative tailroom, because there is a non-zero page offset. We are supposed to return -EINVAL and be done with it in such case, but due to tailroom being stored as an unsigned int, it is reported to be somewhere near UINT_MAX, resulting in a tail being grown, even if the requested offset is too much (it is around 2K in the abovementioned test). This later leads to all kinds of unspecific calltraces. ——1A Return of Pointer Value Outside of Expected Range vulnerability in the fileio library of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a local, low-privilged attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). On EX Series, QFX Series and MX Series a low-privileged attacker issuing a specific 'show l2-learning' or 'show ethernet-switching' command will cause an l2ald crash which will lead to a temporary service impact for all layer 2 services until the process has automatically restarted. This issue affects EX Series, QFX Series, MX Series: Junos OS: * all versions before 23.2R2-S7, * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S7, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R1-S2. Junos OS Evolved: * all versions before 23.2R2-S7-EVO, * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S8-EVO, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-EVO, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R1-S3-EVO.105d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regmap: Fix race condition in hwspinlock irqsave routine Previously, the address of the shared member '&map->spinlock_flags' was passed directly to 'hwspin_lock_timeout_irqsave'. This creates a race condition where multiple contexts contending for the lock could overwrite the shared flags variable, potentially corrupting the state for the current lock owner. Fix this by using a local stack variable 'flags' to store the IRQ state temporarily.9d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: Fix reference count leak when using error routes with nexthop objects When a nexthop object is deleted, it is marked as dead and then fib_table_flush() is called to flush all the routes that are using the dead nexthop. The current logic in fib_table_flush() is to only flush error routes (e.g., blackhole) when it is called as part of network namespace dismantle (i.e., with flush_all=true). Therefore, error routes are not flushed when their nexthop object is deleted: # ip link add name dummy1 up type dummy # ip nexthop add id 1 dev dummy1 # ip route add 198.51.100.1/32 nhid 1 # ip route add blackhole 198.51.100.2/32 nhid 1 # ip nexthop del id 1 # ip route show blackhole 198.51.100.2 nhid 1 dev dummy1 As such, they keep holding a reference on the nexthop object which in turn holds a reference on the nexthop device, resulting in a reference count leak: # ip link del dev dummy1 [ 70.516258] unregister_netdevice: waiting for dummy1 to become free. Usage count = 2 Fix by flushing error routes when their nexthop is marked as dead. IPv6 does not suffer from this problem.9d

——1IBM Power Systems Firmware FW950.00 through FW950.H2, OP940.00 through OP940.a1 (Power9), and OP940.00 - OP940.81 (Power HMC) is affected by a vulnerability in host firmware NVRAM parsing. An attacker with root access to a guest partition on an OpenPOWER system can write a specially crafted NVRAM image, causing the host firmware boot stage to crash with possible memory corruption. This condition persists until operator intervention — clearing NVRAM via the service processor — to restore normal operation. This vulnerability only affects OpenPOWER systems; systems running PowerVM are not affected. Successful exploitation results in an integrity and availability impact to the managed system.65d

——1Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.4.1, a recovering Coordinator does not verify the seed supplied by the recovering party. An attacker can therefore stand up a rogue Coordinator whose manifest passes validation but whose secret seed is attacker-controlled. If network traffic is redirected from the legitimate Coordinator to the attacker's Coordinator, a workload owner can be impersonated when they either set a new manifest without comparing the returned root CA certificate against the existing one (the default behavior of the contrast CLI) or verify the Coordinator without comparing the root CA certificate against a trusted reference. Under these conditions the attacker can issue certificates that chain back to the rogue Coordinator's root CA and recover arbitrary workload secrets of workloads deployed after the attack. Secrets of the legitimate Coordinator (seed, workload secrets, CA), workload integrity, and certificates chaining to the mesh CA are not affected.15d

This involves team or bonding drivers ability to dynamically change their dev->needed_headroom and/or dev->hard_header_len In this particular crash mld_newpack() allocated an skb with a too small reserve/headroom, and by the time mld_sendpack() was called, syzbot managed to attach an ip6gre device. ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Revert "arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845: Affirm IDR0.CCTW on apps_smmu" There are reports that the pagetable walker cache coherency is not a given across the spectrum of SDM845/850 devices, leading to lock-ups and resets. It works fine on some devices (like the Dragonboard 845c, but not so much on the Lenovo Yoga C630). This unfortunately looks like a fluke in firmware development, where likely somewhere in the vast hypervisor stack, a change to accommodate for this was only introduced after the initial software release (which often serves as a baseline for products). Revert the change to avoid additional guesswork around crashes. This reverts commit 6b31a9744b8726c69bb0af290f8475a368a4b805.91d

——1pam_usb provides hardware authentication for Linux using removable media. In pam_usb 0.9.1 and earlier, usb_get_process_parent_id() can cause an infinite loop DoS because it does not initialize *ppid on failure. In pusb_local_login(), the same variable is reused as input and output in a process-tree while loop; if /proc/<pid>/stat cannot be read (for example, when an ancestor process exits during authentication), the PID is not updated and the loop does not terminate. This hangs the authenticating process (such as sudo, sshd, or login) until it is forcibly terminated. This issue has been fixed in version 0.9.2.3d
