——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: Fix refcount leak for tagset_refcnt This leak will cause a hang when tearing down the SCSI host. For example, iscsid hangs with the following call trace: [130120.652718] scsi_alloc_sdev: Allocation failure during SCSI scanning, some SCSI devices might not be configured PID: 2528 TASK: ffff9d0408974e00 CPU: 3 COMMAND: "iscsid" #0 [ffffb5b9c134b9e0] __schedule at ffffffff860657d4 #1 [ffffb5b9c134ba28] schedule at ffffffff86065c6f #2 [ffffb5b9c134ba40] schedule_timeout at ffffffff86069fb0 #3 [ffffb5b9c134bab0] __wait_for_common at ffffffff8606674f #4 [ffffb5b9c134bb10] scsi_remove_host at ffffffff85bfe84b #5 [ffffb5b9c134bb30] iscsi_sw_tcp_session_destroy at ffffffffc03031c4 [iscsi_tcp] #6 [ffffb5b9c134bb48] iscsi_if_recv_msg at ffffffffc0292692 [scsi_transport_iscsi] #7 [ffffb5b9c134bb98] iscsi_if_rx at ffffffffc02929c2 [scsi_transport_iscsi] #8 [ffffb5b9c134bbf0] netlink_unicast at ffffffff85e551d6 #9 [ffffb5b9c134bc38] netlink_sendmsg at ffffffff85e554ef11d

——1The kernel queue helper z_queue_node_peek() in kernel/queue.c dereferences a node taken from a queue's data_q list, reading the node's flag byte and, for items enqueued via k_queue_alloc_append/alloc_prepend, the data pointer of an internally allocated alloc_node struct. The implementations of z_impl_k_queue_peek_head() and z_impl_k_queue_peek_tail() performed this read-and-dereference without holding the queue's spinlock, while every other accessor of the same list — including k_queue_get(), which unlinks a node and k_free()s its backing alloc_node — operates under that lock. Because peek was unsynchronized, a concurrent k_queue_get() on the same queue (on an SMP build, or under preemption/ISR concurrency) can free the node between the moment peek obtains the node pointer and the moment it dereferences it. The peek then reads flag bits and a data pointer out of freed, potentially re-allocated heap memory and returns a stale or dangling pointer to its caller. k_fifo and k_lifo are thin wrappers over k_queue, so this affects buffer queues used throughout the net_buf, Bluetooth, USB, and networking subsystems; the peek operations are also system calls reachable from CONFIG_USERSPACE threads. The consequences are a use-after-free read that can leak stale heap contents (one pointer word) and, when the returned dangling pointer is subsequently consumed as a live buffer, a dereference that can crash the system or corrupt memory. Exploitation requires winning a small race window with local access (e.g. a userspace process racing k_queue_peek_* against k_queue_get on a shared queue, or two CPUs), so practical impact is bounded and of low severity. The fix wraps both peek implementations with k_spin_lock/k_spin_unlock on the queue lock, making the read-and-dereference atomic with respect to the concurrent unlink-and-free and bringing peek into line with the rest of the queue's locking discipline.3d

——1libTiMidity through 0.2.8 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the SoundFont loader in src/sndfont.c that uses unvalidated sampleId and instrument generator values as table indices. Attackers can supply a crafted .sf2 file loaded through mid_set_soundfont() to read heap memory out of bounds and crash the application.5d

Fix this by moving the code that accesses domain->mm->iommu_mm to before the call to iommu_domain_free().94d

——1@fastify/oauth2 is an OAuth 2.0 plugin for Fastify. In versions from 7.2.0 up to but not including 8.3.0, the plugin validates the OAuth state, and with PKCE the code verifier, by comparing the callback query parameter against an unprefixed, predictable cookie, with no server-side binding to the browser that began the flow. Any party able to write a cookie for the application's host, such as a sibling subdomain under the same registrable domain, can plant matching state and verifier cookies and complete an attacker-owned OAuth flow inside a victim's browser, silently signing the victim in to the attacker's account (login CSRF). It does not expose the victim's own account, credentials, or tokens. The issue is fixed in @fastify/oauth2 8.3.0, which adds an opt-in hostPrefixedCookies option. Users should upgrade to 8.3.0 and enable it, or bind state to a server-side session.52d

——1Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. From 1.3.1 until 1.9.0, OctKey.import_key() checks asymmetric-key markers only at byte zero while Authlib's PEM loaders accept leading whitespace, comments, or a byte-order mark. In deployments that use the documented mixed algorithm registry and already configure verification with PEM or certificate bytes containing such a prefix, an unauthenticated attacker who knows those same public-key bytes can use them as an HMAC secret and forge HS256 tokens with arbitrary identity or authorization claims. This is a bypass of the remediation for CVE-2024-37568. The module-level jwt object reaches OctKey.import_key() in authlib/jose/rfc7518/oct_key.py, where POSSIBLE_UNSAFE_KEYS fails to identify prefixed asymmetric key material. This issue is fixed in version 1.9.0.3d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/ucma: Lock the handler in ucma_write_cm_event() ctx->file may only be changed under the handler lock and the xa_lock, which is what stops uevents being queued for a ctx while ucma_migrate_id() moves it to another file. The CM core takes that lock before invoking ucma_event_handler(), but the write() paths that queue uevents themselves do not. ucma_write_cm_event() re-reads ctx->file for each of its four dereferences, so ucma_migrate_id() can swap it mid-sequence: mutex_lock(&ctx->file->mut); /* file A */ list_add_tail(&uevent->list, &ctx->file->event_list); /* file B */ mutex_unlock(&ctx->file->mut); /* file B */ wake_up_interruptible(&ctx->file->poll_wait); /* file B */ The window is the mutex_lock() itself: the writer sleeps in it while the migration reassigns ctx->file. The list_add_tail() then runs on file B's event_list holding only file A's mutex: list_add corruption. prev->next should be next (ffff888101320f30), but was ffff88814a08c418. (prev=ffff88814a075c18). kernel BUG at lib/list_debug.c:32! Call Trace: ucma_write_cm_event+0x36e/0x5e0 and file A's mut is left held forever, wedging its next writer in D state. The uevent is also stranded on a list ucma_cleanup_ctx_events() will not walk, so it outlives its context. /dev/infiniband/rdma_cm is 0666 and no RDMA device is involved, so an unprivileged user reaches all of this. Take the handler lock, as ucma_cleanup_mc_events() does; ctx->cm_id is pinned by the ucma_get_ctx() reference.7d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: amd: acp: Fix incorrect retrival of acp_chip_info Use dev_get_drvdata(dev->parent) instead of dev_get_platdata(dev) to correctly obtain acp_chip_info members in the acp I2S driver. Previously, some members were not updated properly due to incorrect data access, which could potentially lead to null pointer dereferences. This issue was missed in the earlier commit ("ASoC: amd: acp: Fix NULL pointer deref in acp_i2s_set_tdm_slot"), which only addressed set_tdm_slot(). This change ensures that all relevant functions correctly retrieve acp_chip_info, preventing further null pointer dereference issues.7d

When userspace supplies the same leaf handle twice, the same old-parent pointer lands twice in old_nodes[]. The cleanup loop double frees the parent. Of course the same parent may still be in old_nodes[] twice if we are moving multiple of its leaves. ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: ISO: serialize iso_sock_clear_timer with socket lock iso_sock_close() calls iso_sock_clear_timer() before acquiring lock_sock(sk). iso_sock_clear_timer() reads iso_pi(sk)->conn twice without the socket lock held: if (!iso_pi(sk)->conn) return; cancel_delayed_work(&iso_pi(sk)->conn->timeout_work); Concurrently, iso_conn_del() executes under lock_sock(sk) and calls iso_chan_del(), which sets iso_pi(sk)->conn to NULL and may result in the final reference to the connection being dropped: CPU0 CPU1 ---- ---- iso_sock_clear_timer() if (conn != NULL) ... lock_sock(sk) iso_chan_del() iso_pi(sk)->conn = NULL cancel_delayed_work(conn) /* NULL deref or UAF */ iso_pi(sk)->conn is not stable across the unlock window, causing a NULL pointer dereference or use-after-free. Serialize iso_sock_clear_timer() with the socket lock by moving it inside lock_sock()/release_sock(), matching the pattern used in iso_conn_del() and all other call sites.7d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Reject a vSID wider than the SID_MATCH field tegra241_vintf_init_vsid() programs the guest-provided vSID into SID_MATCH, whose VIRT_SID field spans bits [20:1] with bit 0 as the match-enable flag. The HW therefore matches only a 20-bit Stream ID. The bound check rejects only virt_sid > UINT_MAX, which admits a value far wider than the field. The write "virt_sid << 1 | 0x1" then drops every bit above 20: a virt_sid of 0x80000000 lands as SID_MATCH = 0x1, a valid match on vSID 0, so the entry aliases the wrong Stream ID. Because vdev->virt_id is guest-controlled, a VMM can trigger it. Validate virt_sid against the field width with FIELD_MAX(), and program the register with FIELD_PREP() so the value and the field stay consistent.7d
