CVE-2026-684587.8 HIG

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: cache secctx size before release zeroes it binder_transaction() bounds the scatter-gather buffer area with sg_buf_end_offset and subtracts the aligned LSM context size because the secctx is written at the tail of that area. The subtraction reads lsmctx.len, but that field has already been cleared by the time the line runs: security_secid_to_secctx(secid, &lsmctx) /* lsmctx.len set */ lsmctx_aligned_size = ALIGN(lsmctx.len, sizeof(u64)) extra_buffers_size += lsmctx_aligned_size ... security_release_secctx(&lsmctx) /* memset zeroes len */ ... sg_buf_end_offset = sg_buf_offset + extra_buffers_size - ALIGN(lsmctx.len, sizeof(u64)) /* ALIGN(0,8) */ security_release_secctx() does memset(cp, 0, sizeof(*cp)), so lsmctx.len reads back as 0 and the subtraction contributes nothing, leaving sg_buf_end_offset too large by the aligned secctx size on every transaction to a txn_security_ctx node. Each BINDER_TYPE_PTR object then derives buf_left = sg_buf_end_offset - sg_buf_offset as the sole upper bound on its copy, so the inflated end offset lets the copy run into the bytes that already hold the secctx. The aligned size must therefore be cached before release rather than re-read from the now-cleared field. Fix by caching it in lsmctx_aligned_size at function scope when it is first computed and subtracting lsmctx_aligned_size instead of re-reading lsmctx.len after release. Reuse the same value for the earlier buf_offset computation.70d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: don't free driver-owned scan requests When an interface goes down while a scan is running, cfg80211 completes the scan towards userspace and frees the scan request. However, the driver can be convinced that it owns the request, since the cancellation is (intended to be) asynchronous. The WARN_ON() in the netdev notifier was meant to catch this, but it's not actually avoidable, so it triggers and we get a UAF in scan_done(). There doesn't seem to be a great way around it, so just track that the driver is still convinced it owns the request, and then just free it on completion if it was already cancelled. Also remove the warnings since they can trigger in the intended architecture.7d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-cpu-timers: Prevent freeing a timer which is queued on the expiry list Kijo analyzed another race in the POSIX CPU timer code: Commit bf635681c906 converted cpu_timer::firing from a tristate value to a boolean. This lost the distinction between "not owned by the firing list" and "still owned, but delivery was canceled". The resulting race is: expiry handler timer_settime() timer_delete() -------------- --------------- -------------- collect timer onto private firing list firing = true observes firing = true firing = false return TIMER_RETRY wait for handler observes firing = false finish deletion unhash and free timer resume list traversal read freed elist.next -> UAF The firing bit is clearly the wrong indicator since that commit. Check whether the timer is queued on the expiry list or not instead. If it is queued clear the firing bit to prevent signal delivery as before and return TIMER_RETRY so the caller unlocks the timer which allows the expiry code to make progress and remove it from the list.7d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Reject a vSID wider than the SID_MATCH field tegra241_vintf_init_vsid() programs the guest-provided vSID into SID_MATCH, whose VIRT_SID field spans bits [20:1] with bit 0 as the match-enable flag. The HW therefore matches only a 20-bit Stream ID. The bound check rejects only virt_sid > UINT_MAX, which admits a value far wider than the field. The write "virt_sid << 1 | 0x1" then drops every bit above 20: a virt_sid of 0x80000000 lands as SID_MATCH = 0x1, a valid match on vSID 0, so the entry aliases the wrong Stream ID. Because vdev->virt_id is guest-controlled, a VMM can trigger it. Validate virt_sid against the field width with FIELD_MAX(), and program the register with FIELD_PREP() so the value and the field stay consistent.7d

——1SAP S/4HANA Finance (Advanced Payment Management) does not perform sufficient Cross-Site Request Forgery protection on certain requests due to this an attacker with low privileges could craft a malicious link or page. If an authenticated victim interacts with it, unintended actions could be triggered on the web server on their behalf. This results in a low impact on confidentiality and integrity. There is no impact on availability.48d

——1IO::Uncompress::Unzip versions before 2.215 for Perl propagate uncaught exception when parsing zip header with malformed DOS date. _dosToUnixTime() decodes the local-file-header last-modification date field and calls Time::Local::timelocal() without an eval guard. A header whose date field decodes to an out-of-range month, day, or hour causes timelocal() to die. The exception propagates out of IO::Uncompress::Unzip->new($file) where callers expect undef plus $UnzipError.94d

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi: Remove all sysfs files on registration failure ipmi_add_smi() creates the nr_users and nr_msgs files before trying to create the maintenance_mode file. If that last creation fails, the error path removes only nr_users before dropping the final reference to the interface. Remove nr_msgs as well so no sysfs attribute embedded in the freed interface remains registered.7d
