kswapd0 holding fs_reclaim calls the MSM shrinker, which calls
dma_resv_lock. This in turn acquires fs_reclaim.
Fix this deadlock by using dma_resv_trylock() instead, dropping the
subsequently unused passed wait-wound lock 'ticket'.

——1A numeric truncation weakness exists in the JSON parsing component of the MongoDB C++ Driver's BSON library. An actor who controls the text that an embedding application hands to the library's public JSON parsing interface, when that text is very large, can cause the library to read memory beyond the supplied buffer and return it to the caller, to silently accept only part of the input as a complete document, or to terminate the process. No MongoDB server, credentials, or non-default configuration is required; the effect is confined to the process that uses the library.45dCVE-2026-409925.0 MED2.1%

fanotify: fix use-after-free of file range info
fsnotify_pre_content() builds its file_range on the triggering task's
stack. fanotify_alloc_perm_event() saves a pointer to range.pos in the
heap-allocated permission event so copy_range_info_to_user() can report
the offset later.
The event reader can set the event state to FAN_EVENT_REPORTED and then
sleep while preparing the file descriptor. If a signal interrupts the
triggering task at that point, fanotify_get_response() changes the state
to FAN_EVENT_CANCELED and returns. This unwinds the file_range stack
frame while the reader still owns the event. The reader then dereferences
pevent->ppos and copies the stale stack value to userspace.
KASAN reported:
BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in fanotify_read+0x293e/0x2970

Store the range position directly in the permission event and use
FANOTIFY_NO_RANGE when range information is unavailable. The event remains

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iommu/vt-d: Clear Present bit before tearing down context entry
When tearing down a context entry, the current implementation zeros the
entire 128-bit entry using multiple 64-bit writes. This creates a window
where the hardware can fetch a "torn" entry — where some fields are
already zeroed while the 'Present' bit is still set — leading to
unpredictable behavior or spurious faults.
While x86 provides strong write ordering, the compiler may reorder writes
to the two 64-bit halves of the context entry. Even without compiler
reordering, the hardware fetch is not guaranteed to be atomic with
respect to multiple CPU writes.
Align with the "Guidance to Software for Invalidations" in the VT-d spec
(Section 6.5.3.3) by implementing the recommended ownership handshake:
1. Clear only the 'Present' (P) bit of the context entry first to
signal the transition of ownership from hardware to software.
2. Use dma_wmb() to ensure the cleared bit is visible to the IOMMU.
3. Perform the required cache and context-cache invalidation to ensure
hardware no longer has cached references to the entry.
4. Fully zero out the entry only after the invalidation is complete.
Also, add a dma_wmb() to context_set_present() to ensure the entry
is fully initialized before the 'Present' bit becomes visible.6dCVE-2026-888396.7 MED2.1%

net: txgbe: fix heap overflow when reading module EEPROM
txgbe_read_eeprom_hostif() always copies round_up(length, 4) bytes

bytes. A non-4-aligned length therefore causes an out-of-bounds write.

——1libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. Prior to version 8.18.3, the old-style Radiance RLE decoder in libvips/foreign/radiance.c can process a repeat marker at the beginning of a scanline in scanline_read_old and read q[-1] before any prior pixel exists. A crafted Radiance image loaded through VipsForeignLoadRad can therefore disclose four bytes of adjacent heap data, most likely other image data. ——1——CVE-2026-644967.1 HIG2.1%
——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: event: Fix event FIFO reset race
`iio_event_getfd()` creates the event file descriptor with
`anon_inode_getfd()`, which allocates a new fd, creates the anonymous
file and installs it in the process fd table before returning to the
caller.
The IIO code resets the event FIFO after `anon_inode_getfd()` has returned,
but before `IIO_GET_EVENT_FD_IOCTL` has copied the fd number to userspace.
But since fd tables are shared between threads, another thread can guess
the newly allocated fd number and issue a `read()` on it as soon as the fd
has been installed.
This means the `kfifo_to_user()` in `iio_event_chrdev_read()` can run in
parallel with the `kfifo_reset_out()` in `iio_event_getfd()`.
The kfifo documentation says that `kfifo_reset_out()` is only safe when it
is called from the reader thread and there is only one concurrent reader.
Otherwise it is dangerous and must be handled in the same way as
`kfifo_reset()`.
If that happens, `kfifo_to_user()` can advance the FIFO `out` index based
on state from before the reset, after the reset has already moved the `out`
index to the current `in` index. That can leave the FIFO with an `out`
index past the `in` index. A later `read()` can then see an underflowed
FIFO length and copy more data than the event FIFO buffer contains. This
can result in an out-of-bounds read and leak adjacent kernel memory to
userspace.
Move the FIFO reset before `anon_inode_getfd()`. At that point the event fd is
marked busy, but the new fd has not been installed yet, so userspace cannot
access it while the FIFO is reset.6dCVE-2026-460445.5 MED2.1%

ipmi:ssif: Clean up kthread on errors

main IPMI code starts the ssif interface, the ssif kthread will not

——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: Limit BO list entry count to prevent resource exhaustion
Userspace can pass an arbitrary number of BO list entries via the
bo_number field. Although the previous multiplication overflow check
prevents out-of-bounds allocation, a large number of entries could still
cause excessive memory allocation (up to potentially gigabytes) and
unnecessarily long list processing times.
Introduce a hard limit of 128k entries per BO list, which is more than
sufficient for any realistic use case (e.g., a single list containing all
buffers in a large scene). This prevents memory exhaustion attacks and
ensures predictable performance.
Return -EINVAL if the requested entry count exceeds the limit

——1IBM Power Systems Firmware FW1060.00 through FW1060.81 is affected by a vulnerability in the service processor mailbox interface. An attacker with authenticated service-level access to the FSP can send a specially crafted mailbox message to overflow host firmware runtime attribute storage, allowing arbitrary code to be executed in the host firmware runtime. ——1In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: bonding: fix NULL pointer dereference in bond_do_ioctl()
In bond_do_ioctl(), slave_dev is obtained via __dev_get_by_name() which
can return NULL if the requested interface name does not exist. However,
the subsequent slave_dbg() call is placed before the NULL check:
slave_dev = __dev_get_by_name(net, ifr->ifr_slave);
slave_dbg(bond_dev, slave_dev, "slave_dev=%p:\n", slave_dev); //here
if (!slave_dev)
return -ENODEV;
The slave_dbg() macro expands to netdev_dbg(bond_dev, "(slave %s): " fmt,
(slave_dev)->name, ...) which unconditionally dereferences slave_dev->name
before the NULL check is performed. This results in a NULL pointer
dereference kernel oops when a user calls bonding ioctl (e.g.
SIOCBONDENSLAVE, SIOCBONDRELEASE, etc.) with a non-existent slave
interface name.
This is reachable from userspace via the bonding ioctl interface with
CAP_NET_ADMIN capability, making it a potential local denial-of-service
vector.
Fix by moving the slave_dbg() call after the NULL check.11dCVE-2026-43032—2.1%
