——0Stack overflow vulnerability due to uncontrolled recursion in Avast Antivirus when scanning a malformed PDF file may allow Denial-of-Service of the antivirus process. This issue affects Avast Antivirus, AVG Antivirus, Norton Antivirus, Avast One, and Avast Business Antivirus on Windows, macOS, and Linux for virus definition builds before VPS 25021208. The affected scanning logic is delivered through a shared Gen Digital virus definition update stream. The same stream feeds the consumer antivirus products listed in this advisory and other Gen Digital products that embed the same engine. Mitigation flows through this update channel; installations at or above the listed build are not vulnerable regardless of which product consumes the stream.17d

——0The go-getter library up to versions 1.8.8 and 2.2.3 is vulnerable to a privilege escalation issue in its archive decompression handling that may allow a crafted archive to cause extracted files to be created with elevated permission bits. Where extraction is performed by a privileged user, this may allow a local actor to obtain the privileges of the extracting process. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-88922) is fixed in go-getter 1.8.9 and 2.2.4.35d

——0An issue was discovered in the Portrait Dell Color Management application through 3.3.008 for Dell monitors, It creates a temporary folder, with weak permissions, during installation and uninstallation. A low-privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this, leading to elevation of privileges.11d

CVE-2026-461874.7 MED

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rsi: fix kthread lifetime race between self-exit and external-stop RSI driver use both self-exit(kthread_complete_and_exit) and external-stop (kthread_stop) when killing a kthread. Generally, kthread_stop() is called first, and in this case, no particular issues occur. However, in rare instances where kthread_complete_and_exit() is called first and then kthread_stop() is called, a UAF occurs because the kthread object, which has already exited and been freed, is accessed again. Therefore, to prevent this with minimal modification, you must remove kthread_stop() and change the code to wait until the self-exit operation is completed.10d

——0In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx4: Fix mis-use of RCU in mlx4_srq_event() Sashiko points out the radix_tree itself is RCU safe, but nothing ever frees the mlx4_srq struct with RCU, and it isn't even accessed within the RCU critical section. It also will crash if an event is delivered before the srq object is finished initializing. Use the spinlock since it isn't easy to make RCU work, use refcount_inc_not_zero() to protect against partially initialized objects, and order the refcount_set() to be after the srq is fully initialized.5d

——0A flaw was found in BusyBox's mount utility. A non-root user can bypass mount security restrictions set in /etc/fstab by specifying clearing-mask options on the command line. These options pass the non-root flag filter and are merged with fstab options as strings; when the combined options are re-parsed, clearing options can override nosuid, nodev, and noexec protections the administrator intended to enforce.9d

——0SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.7.0.22298, four independently reachable range-validation variants in src/LitDoc.cpp allow file-controlled offsets and sizes to overflow, narrow to negative values, or wrap before incomplete bounds checks. The affected calculations include contentOffset, the directory expression dirOff64 + dirLen64, and the decoded-section offset + size, along with secondary-header range handling. Opening a crafted LIT file that reaches one of these variants can cause invalid pointer reads and deterministic application termination. No broader impact is claimed beyond the advisory-supported conditions. No fixed version is available as of this review.15d

——0The Semtech LR11xx LoRa transceivers running early versions of firmware contains an information disclosure vulnerability in its firmware validation functionality. When a host issues a firmware validity check command via the SPI interface, the device decrypts the provided encrypted firmware package block-by-block to validate its integrity. However, the last decrypted firmware block remains uncleared in memory after the validation process completes. An attacker with access to the SPI interface can subsequently issue memory read commands to retrieve the decrypted firmware contents from this residual memory, effectively bypassing the firmware encryption protection mechanism. The attack requires physical access to the device's SPI interface.92d

——0A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container.92d
