As mitigation for CVE-2020-1945 Apache Ant 1.10.8 changed the permissions of temporary files it created so that only the current user was allowed to access them. Unfortunately the fixcrlf task deleted the temporary file and created a new one without said protection, effectively nullifying the effort. This would still allow an attacker to inject modified source files into the build process.

CVE-2026-118990——
———CallBackery versions before 0.62.0 for Perl leave a world-readable dump of the configuration database in /tmp when taking a configuration backup.
getConfigBlob() has the sqlite3 shell write the dump to /tmp/cbdump<pid> and never removes it. The file takes the process umask, and a symlink planted at that predictable name is followed.
The dump holds every user's password hash and every value saved by the application's forms. A local user can read these after any backup, and may redirect the dump to a file of their choosing.17hCVE-2026-119193——
——0PHPUnit is a testing framework for PHP. From 13.4.0 until 13.4.4, the TestCase::coverageFilesDirectory() logic in src/Runner/Phpt/TestCase.php creates temporary files for PHPT code coverage in a predictable phpunit-phpt directory under sys_get_temp_dir() and reuses that directory without verifying its ownership or permissions. On multi-user systems with a shared temporary path, a local attacker who creates the directory before the developer runs PHPT tests with code coverage can replace the generated job file before the child process executes it with require, allowing arbitrary code execution with the developer's privileges while the test and coverage report appear successful. PHPUnit 12.5 and earlier, default macOS and Windows configurations with per-user temporary directories, and single-user environments where another user cannot create files in the temporary path are not affected. This issue is fixed in 13.4.4.17hCVE-2026-1027405.8 MED0.8%
——0The AsyncHttpClient library allows Java applications to execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 2.16.1 and 3.0.12, PropertiesBasedResumableProcessor stores resumable download state at the predictable shared path $java.io.tmpdir/ahc/ResumableAsyncHandler.properties with default permissions and link-following file operations. A local user who can read the shared store can see download URLs, including embedded user information or query tokens. A local user who can write within or pre-create the affected shared store directory can plant a symbolic link that the client follows when saving state, truncating and overwriting a target file writable by the client process. The filesystem path is used when ResumableAsyncHandler decorates another AsyncHandler, while the no-argument constructors use a no-op processor and are unaffected. This issue is fixed in versions 2.16.1 and 3.0.12.15dCVE-2026-86836—1.4%
——0In Eclipse Ankaios versions 0.1.0 through 1.0.2, the agent creates workload files and Control Interface named pipes (FIFOs) under a predictable path derived from the agent name and a hash of the workload's runtime configuration. If a directory or FIFO already exists at that path when the agent (re)starts, the agent reuses it based only on an existence and/or file-type check, without validating its owner or permissions. A local, unprivileged user with write access to the same base directory (by default under `$TMPDIR/ankaios`, e.g. shared `/tmp`) can pre-create this path hierarchy, including the two Control Interface FIFOs, before the agent starts. The agent then treats the attacker-owned FIFOs as the legitimate Control Interface for the targeted workload. The attacker can complete the Control Interface handshake and issue requests using that workload's configured `controlInterfaceAccess` permissions, allowing impersonation of the workload and, depending on its configured permissions, unauthorized reading and/or modification of the cluster's desired state.45dCVE-2026-694827.1 ALT40.1%
——12Creation of temporary file in directory with insecure permissions in Windows Error Reporting allows an authorized attacker to perform tampering locally.33dCVE-2026-850287.8 ALT6.8%
——2Creation of a temporary file in a directory with insecure permissions in the FPGA management tool installation component in AWS FPGA Development Kit (aws-fpga) before 2.3.4 might allow local users to execute arbitrary code with root privileges via crafted shell content placed at a predictable path in a world-writable temporary directory, which the installation step reads after elevating its own privileges.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.3.4.53d
